Easy to find, love the inside and atmosphere. Greated when we walked in, Sophie had amazing energy as our server and the meats were incredible.

So disappointed! We were looking forward to a steakhouse in the Grove. This place is more like an upscale sport's bar. The service was terrible, we were seated next to a door that opened every few minutes and let the heat and humidity in. The calamari were chewy and the shape gave the impression that they were fake. The baked potato was not cooked through and the wedge salad was drenched in dressing! Thankfully, the steak was well cooked and tasty but not worth a repeat visit!

I asked to be seated in the main dinning room which open table only allowed standard when reserving which is first serve, high top or bar area which was very loud and not the dinning experience I was hoping for in celebrating a dear friends birthday.

everything was great and it was the second "new" restaurant that we have tried in the last week and the other one we will never go back to. Food was superb, the service was outstanding and our server was awesome and ahead of everything. we never had to ask for anything...This place is managed excellently and hopefully it was stay around with all the competition in the area. We will make it a regular.

First, at 7pm on a Tuesday nite the restaurant did not have a lot of customers so it was especially cold. The mgmt said they would raise the temp but it never got totally comfortable. Seating by the door is Warmer. The music could be slightly lower. The staff is extremely sharp and nice. The Caesar salad dressing was excessive. Two of us had the petite filet and said it was terrific. I shared a rib eye steak and it was delicious. The order for onion rings never arrived. The drinks were fine. The tables are slightly higher than they should based on the height of the seats. The AC situation should be zoned as it's much colder the further away you are from the front door. Overall, this new restaurant in coconut groves' coco walk should do well. Despite the negatives we experienced, We predict that its Great food, reasonably priced will make the CHOP successful.
