Amazing food and the server was very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
Best meal we've had there yet!
Cholon is so good that one tends to forget how good it is. We had a flawless meal.....3 desserts, all winners. World class dining, and sitting at the counter gave us a chance to watch and be educated. Rebecca, expediting, always had time to explain things to us. And every bite....soup dumplings to start, and the pork belly sliders. The soup dumpling is an experience. The sliders were just flavor with every bite. A salmon crudo.....never a bad choice. And we did the wagyu beef, that you could cut with a dull spork, but would lick the plate afterwards. Darn, almost forgot the perfectly fried calamari, with a dill sauce, that made my Italian taste buds happy. Three desserts: Triple chocolate, panna cotta and the spiced doughnuts.
They do not miss a trick here. Everything is first rate, even the timing of the service is well thought out. The food made me glad I had cataract surgery to get the full beauty of it. And the people are friendly.
Cholon deserves every accolade. Bring a date, you'll love it.
Amazing small bites, good cocktails and great main plates. The soup dumplings in particular are spectacular.
Great food. Knowledgeable server.
Believe them when they warn you the Soup Dumplings are hot. Need to cool down before eating in one bite.
ChoLon was marked in my calendar as a place to go when visiting Denver and it did not disappoint. Kudos to the chef!
The Asian-French fusion family style dishes were perfect for our group. Each dish was distinctive, flavorful and delicious. By business party was a mix of people from around the US, Canada, Europe and the Middle East, including a self proclaimed 'food snob' from Paris, and all were extremely complimentary of the food and overall experience.
I loved the French Onion Soup dumplings, salmon, shrimp rolls, Malaysian noodles and wagyu beef!
From the chef behind Spice Market and Buddakhan, it’s as good as you’d imagine.
Delicious!! Wonderful experience all-around.
The food was delicious. The service was excellent and the waiter was very informative.
The service was impeccable, the food was well cooked and served with delightful intention which made appreciating it easier. The drinks were poured and mixed well ...we were also moved to a more desirable spot making our romantic evening date memorable. Definitely worth paying a visit to every time I visit my love one in Denver .
Great friendly service and fresh interesting takes on various Asian dishes.
I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday dinner with my family!
Great food from a great chef! One of Denver’s finest.
Amazing! We loved every bite- from the French onion soup dumplings to the calamari (better than I’ve ever had) to the Scottish salmon and the Wagyu beef. So many creative, delicious dishes! We can’t wait to go back!
Small meals and really slow service.
Enjoyed our dinner so much! Terrific friendly service, lovely wine, and delicious food. Especially enjoyed the waygu beef skewers and the diver scallops.
I had my third pre-CSO dinner at ChoLon this past Saturday. As usual sat at the counter facing the kitchen. There is a special menu for diners who are alone--a nice touch. Very creative Asian-based menu. As usual, started with the Soup Pillows, which were excellent. The Calamari Wok dish was also excellent. Carafe of a nice Sake went well with the food. Always a pleasant dining experience. I'll be back soon.
Had a great experience here for our anniversary. Everyone from the host to our waiter made us feel really special. The service and food were both fantastic! Highly recommend!
Brought my parents here when they came from out of town. Food and service was amazing! We ordered several things from the menu to share and we all had a hard time deciding what was best. Definitely a new favorite!
Loved it! Food was incredible. Soup dumplings are a must
For special occasions or just our favorite go to, great wine list outstanding food
Food was awesome, bit pricey but very good I will go back the service was also very good. It was not a very busy night but it was quite noisy .
There is only one word to describe this restaurant, Amazing. From their look, to their service, ambiance to the food, they never fall short of amazing. If you decide not to dine here, you will be single handedly making the worst decision of your life.
FABULOUS !! One of the best. International style and quality. Innovative cuisine. Find a way to visit.
Food is very good and atmosphere was nice
Great service and delicious food!
Asian fusion is getting old but not here! We loved it. Such interesting flavors. Loved the soup dumplings, yummy and innovative. French onion soup! Loved the brussel sprouts with pork on the side. Thank you for doing that. What really surprised me was the chicken sliders. So crisp. So light and flavorful. I'd get those anytime. If ever I am back in Denver, I'm sure to be back.
One of our favorite spots but this past visit service was very bad.
Great tastes all the way around . Always impeccable service
Good Asian fusion experience but not a wow. Brussels sprouts were the highlight dish. Calamari a disappointment - would have preferred a lighter preparation with a ponzu sauce for dipping versus aioli .
Great location, great food. Try the Korean fried chicken and you have to have the fries and aioli with it - awesome!
Excellent food and service.
Delicious! Even the kid liked it
Over priced appetizers masked and priced as plates
Calamari in particular was a joke - can get that at any bar for 1/2 the price
The food was mediocre. Hit or miss with some plates and appetizers. I really enjoyed the ambiance. The service was good.
Our server was amazing. Super cool dude and knowledgeable... he had glasses and ponytail! Can’t remember his name but I’m sure you guys will figure it out
Our adult son was visiting from out of town. As a huge fan of Asian cuisine, we knew we needed to take him to ChoLon for his first time. Knowing what we do about the popularity of ChoLon, I had made a reservation weeks ahead. We were seated promptly and had instant service initiated. Each and every item that we ordered and ate, were as good as they ever have been. I am certain that we will return, although without our son, as often as we can in the future.
The soup dumplings were outstanding. The pork belly bao were magical. The lobster crepes were pretty awful. The dish manger to screw up the best ingredient, Lobster. The Lamb was great as was the risotto. The noodles were so-so. Thai iced tea was special.
Creative tastes, beautiful presentation and sexy ambience. I liked sitting at the chef’s counter!
This was our second time here and the food was great.
