Had a reservation for 5pm. Arrive at 4:55pm and was told we had to wait to be seated. Then after waiting 10 minutes to be seated, we were told the kitchen was closed to prepare for dinner. Which would be serviced at 5:40 pm. Well we wasent going to leave as we travel from (crown height) bklyn to get there. After ordering and the food arrived I must say the food was really good I enjoyed it. The service however was horrible the waitress was not attentive . However I feel the act that way because their tip is included already. We were a party of 4 ,so her gratuity was included. I wanted to complain, which I should have. But declined not to. I will return again, because the food was so good. But it will either only be 2 or 3 people therefore if the service is bad, I will just pay for my food.

Overall it was a nice dinner. The restaurant is lively and the staff friendly.

I ordered the fried chicken and a side of corn bread. The corn bread was a little dry, but the chicken was moist. It was missing the spicy honey glaze, and when I asked for it, I received a side of hot sauce. Maybe they were out of the honey? Maybe they missed understood my request?

The Mac and cheese was good as were the collared greens. The service was ok. Our server was attentive and friendly, but our plates and empty glasses weren’t bussed in a timely fashion. I would definitely come back to try some other items.

The service was nice, the food very good. What spoiled the entire experience was the waiter charging us for 3 drinks; with the entrée, there was 1 drink with the meal and every drink after was to be complimentary. The drink was listed at $14.00 on the site menu, but the charge price was $16.00. My party included myself and my two granddaughters, which the menu stated a party of four or more pay 15% of the bill for tipping; which we were charged $24.00; another error. Before, both my granddaughter & I viewed the bill entirely and noticed the over charging of the drinks & the tip amount; we handed him our credit cards to split the bill. After noticing the errors on the bill both her & I tried to get the waiter's attention, when he actually walked out of the restaurant without acknowledging us. Once, he returned, my granddaughter had to actually confront him at the waiters station him about the over charging on the bill. He finally corrected the errors, we paid the bill and left. I would recommend the food, however, the waiting staff should be better experienced with the correct pricing and handling customers.

We've been several times, this time we chose a weekday brunch. It was much better than a weekend brunch, the food was so fresh as we went when they just opened. The service is always just okay. Overall still one of my favs, although they are pricey for no reason!

The food here is always great, unfortunately the service this time was not so great... I had the short rib mac and cheese and braised short ribs.

Reservation was for 7:30 and we were seated promptly. Our waiter never introduced himself and the hostess actually took our drink order. Our drink order was taken at 7:55 by the hostess and we received our drinks by our server at 8:15. The waiter took our order at that time. We order appetizers calamari and boneless chicken and entries salmon burger and steak. Our appetizers came to our table at 9 pm. Our dinner did not arrive to our table until 9:50. We asked for food containers and my husband as for red velvet cake to go and the check. The waiter came back with those items at 10:15. On the check he included an 18% gratuity in the bill. This place is not worth the time or the money. The food is good, but the services is awful and to add a gratuity amount to the check with no apologies no deduction from the check no nothing means this place does not want customers.

The food was excellent as well as the music. It got very crowded but it wasn't too loud. The hostess was very accommodating when I asked to change my reservation from 3 to 4. I would definitely recommend to people and will definitely be back. The red velvet pancakes and fried chicken was sooo good. Also the signature sangria was very fresh and we got a slight buzz from it

Came here for brunch with my husband and sis-in-law - choose it b/c the location was convenient for all of us. The unlimited mimosa brunch is totally worth it, although it would be nice to have another drink option for those that would like to participate in the unlimited refills. The food was very good and there are many side options to add on to your meal for a very affordable additional cost - good options for non-pork eaters as well (their turkey sausage is very good). Overall, the food is very good. My only complaint is that they went really heavy on the vinegar for my poached eggs, which were also overdone.

It was my best friends 30th Birthday. I haven't seen Sasha in at least 2 years. We met at the bar there and had wonderful drinks to start us off. Then we were lead to our reserved table for dinner. More drinks followed and then the staff brought out a beautiful plate of chocolate cake and sang happy birthday to my best friend. Wonderful experience overall.

The food was good except that the potatoes were not very hot and I ordered my eggs with cheese and they missed that.. the steak was not pink in the middle as I ordered it medium but w already having to wait for the eggs I didn't bother.we had to ask for salt n pepper and ASK for lemon for the whole table. The side of pancakes for $11.00 was small but good...

First time going to Chocolat and wasn’t disappointed. Went there for brunch with a friend. I had the red velvet pancakes and bacon and added the u limited mimosas for $16. They were good, but not extraordinary. It was a little more expensive than I expected for the single entree, but not outrageous. To be quite honest, there’s nothing particularly remarkable about our experience. Fortunately, it wasn’t the busiest Saturday afternoon. The staff were all friendly but didn’t hover. They were on top of the mimosas and we never had to ask. I would certainly go again.

Got a table quick. Service was friendly and gracious to a point. The food, on the other hand, was poor. They offer no basket of bread and butter, there was only one option for an unlimited beverage, the omlette was one of the worst I've ever had. Asked for a soft omlette and it was over cooked, cheese in only one section, and you had to order bread separately. I informed the waiter, but this is where the graciousness stopped -- he didn't seem to care. I understand when things are busy, the chef may not always be on point, but they only had 2 other tables

I cannot speak for the food as I didn’t get to eat it but the service was terrible. I had a reservation and they did have the table ready on time but then the waitor was hostile and didn’t even ask for our order despite us trying to get his attention. Finally we asked for the bill (we did get drinks served to us at least) because we were hungry and no one had even asked us what we wanted to eat and the waitor finally shows up to talk to us and rudely asks “what’s the rush”?. I was so upset and hungry I left in a rush to eat elsewhere but, to add icing on the cake, when I got home I realized the waitor charged us for bottomless mimosas without twlling us even though we just ordered 3 regular mimosas. The food might be great there but unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to try it and will definitely never go back :(

The waitress we had was great - very attentive. Kitchen was slow with our food, but it tasted delish! Complimentary NYE champagne was terrible but we loved the cocktails we ordered! Nice alternative to the pre-fixe NYE fare other places require. Liked that we could order from the regular menu. Also liked the DJ’s mix of music throughout the night.

Excellent Brunch experience. I only rated 4 stars because the food did come out a bit colder than I prefer, and the table next to me did as well. They sent theirs back. I enjoyed the dish at the lukewarm temperature because my waiter kept my mimosa glass filled. It all worked out in the end ☺️

The brunch menu online is quite different than what is offered in the restaurant, starting with the unlimited mimosas being $16 a person, and not $12. The music was REALLY loud, and they only had one waiter working the floor. During brunch you should have more people servicing, or at least have an additional person servicing the mimosas. We had to wait forever for refills and only had 3 in the 2 hours we were at the restaurant.

I love this place, my only complaint are the bathrooms. They smell and for an upscale place like this, management should invest in some type of air freshener.
