                                                  Staff was excellent. The ravioli and scallops were great. The aged steak was a huge dissapointment. We have always had excellent meals and will always go back. The steak was cooked incorrectly and it was not tender. Not sure what was wrong last night, but don’t get the special steaks.

                                                  Chives has always been outstanding! We eat there several times a year. Excellent service, great wine selection but the food is slipping. The desserts and cocktails were excellent but our meals fell short. For what they charge we expected the same quality we've had in the past and 3 out of 4 our meals were "not bad," but that's not what we expect for spending that much $.

                                                  If your considering this restaurant at Bailey's Harbor, you should make a reservation first. The food is great and well presented. I think this is where the locals go to dinner!

                                                  Always great (tasting, innovative, diverse) food and simple menu … with 2-4 surprises dishes as specials based on the season. A little pricey but you can count on a great experience. Restaurant isn’t snooty, you can come casually dressed. But we choose to come nice casual because it’s just nice to sometimes. Staff is great, and we always have a laugh about JR the owner … who is always casually hanging out in tshirts, shorts and sometimes flip flops. And we still come back, it’s that good/fun.

                                                  Beautiful setting, HOWEVER it took us 40 minutes to get the wines we ordered. They came AFTER the second set of appetisers, even though I picked them specifically to complement the food. The server (the blond girl) didn’t even apologize or put in some effort to fix the situation or at least acknowledge it while another table of 4 got their drinks in like a few minutes after they ordered them. This completely ruined our ANNIVERSARY, I won’t be coming back and recommend you guys reconsider and spend your money it other establishments.
