   I have gone to Chin Chins restaurant for many years, )they used to have one in Marina del Rey, California, however, it closed down several years ago). I was in West Hollywood for business purposes on Tuesday and was looking forward to going to Chin Chins in West Hollywood that evening. The service was terrific. However, the food options was extremely disappointing. They have totally changed there menu since I was there several years ago. I am a vegan and have been a vegan since 1993. In the past they had Mooshy vegetable and they would make a vegan sale. they were not willing to do that this time. In the past I’ve had the lettuce wrap and they would make it vegan style with tofu instead of chicken. This time they were not willing to do that therefore, I left the restaurant early and went to a different restaurant to have dinner. I was very disappointed. It used to be a wonderful restaurant. If they read this, I hope they learn from it and make some positive changes in their menu options. If they do, I hope they let me know. J marshall Schoonover, November 3, 2022.

   Another excellent diner at Chin Chins West Hollywood. Wonton soup was delicious and the chicken w/ snow peas is my new favorite. Service was excellent as well.

   Party of 9 for late lunch. Staff easily accommodated 3 extra guests. All dishes were delicious and the wait staff were nice and attentive.

   Staying in West Hollywood for a couple of days and not knowing the area thought we would use open table for help. Chin Chin was quite near our Hotel snd reviews were ok. Overall Chin Chin was okay, pretty basic set up we wanted inside dining. Table okay, the floors were dirty had previous diners food spills etc, but service was good and food was okay.

   Chin Chin was amazing! I took a friend for his birthday and they even had the entire restaurant sing happy birthday. They brought out a piece of delicious chocolate cake at the end. An absolutely amazing experience!

   Omar was amazing!!! Such a great server. He could not been anymore helpful. His way of being is so magnificent. We had another server last week who did not care if we enjoyed the experience. She was in a rush and we felt we were annoying her by being there. This was the complete opposite. Omar was engaging and brought all the food we needed and wanted and let us know the kitchen was going to close so we could order more. The other server did not allow us to order more food and was not even available to order another entree and dessert. Thank you for hiring such a lovely staff. You can tell how stellar these members are especially having an experience where we could not even order the meal we wanted last time. Omar rocks!!!!

    I chose this restaurant because I am moving out of Los Angeles after living here for 40 years. The last month I’m here I am revisiting all of my old favorite iconic Los Angeles haunts.This visit to Chin chin made me extremely sad. This is one of Los Angeles‘s iconic restaurants. It was run down. The serving staff was inadequate. The restaurant looked extremely run down and had 0 ambiance .. All of the food was either oversauced or overdone. It is certainly not what Chin-chin used to be .

    I first came to Chin Chin in 1986 while on vacation and several times on subsequent trips here. This was my first time back since I moved hear a few years ago and it was as good as ever.

    I bring first time visitors to LA to Chin Chin for the Hollywood experience. We sit on the patio watching the people walk by and all the high-end cars coming and going to Beverly Hills. Sure to impress. The food is reliably good, and the servers are always friendly and attentive.

    Chin Chin still doesn't disappoint. Celebrated a chill birthday dinner with my husband and a couple of our friends. We just craved some good Chinese food, some wine, and good company and we were very happy with our dinner experience at Chin Chin WeHo. The Chow Mein w/Beef was delicious!!!

    The staff were excellent at the food allergy which I thought was outstanding service. We were disappointed that the starters and main came same time so when we finished starter the main was cold. Not anyones fault but all felt rushed. It also closes early

    Great Chinese chicken salad as always . Outside noise level unbearable but it’s the traffic horns and motor cycles. Not the restaurant’s fault. Prefer to eat inside next time.

    I’ve been going to Chin Chin since it opened because I love the Chinese chicken salad and Main main. Can’t get this anywhere else. Both were especially good at my latest outing. Also Sunset location is the best. Great servers…..friendly and responsive. Only issue is sirens on Sunset when dining outside.

    1-The pad thai had a foul smell and rancid taste. 2-waitress didnt offer any apology or making it again. 3- salad was brought with hot foods. 4-waitress never came and ask how is the food or any refils. 5-we asked to bring forks and knives. 6- food was okay but service really sucks.

    Love sitting outside along Sunset Blvd. and seeing all the interesting people and fancy cars drive by. Patio dining was great, quick service and delicious food. Everything we ordered was great, and big portions. Good value. I also loved the strawberry mint lemonade -so tasty.

    Had dinner with a client. The food was delicious. I recommend the peanut noodles (with or without chicken), Sichuan dumplings steamed, and the chicken salad. The ginger and the tangy vinaigrette in the chicken salad was an awesome mix. Dumplings dipped in a little of the hot sauce was amazing, but the peanut noodles were the star of the show. I put a little of the sauce that came with the dumplings on it for some heat. I added chicken thinking it wasn’t going to be hearty enough- didn’t need it. They are delicious. Our waiter was attentive and efficient. We were seated at our reservation time. No complaints, will definitely return.

    I was traveling through LA and stopped to see my son who’s a student at UCLA. I’d heard so much about the Chinese chicken salad at Chin Chin from everyone on the SmartLess Podcast, especially The wonderful Sean Hayes, I thought “we gotta go there.” Well, the apps were great. Ribs. Wonton Stars were good as well. I ordered the chicken salad. Or course. Sadly, It was like a plate of raw ginger. There was no other discernible flavor. The chicken was poached perfectly. But the flavor was one note..ginger. I also ordered Mongolian beef. It was good. I over ordered for myself so…c’est La vie…Riley took it home. He had King pao chicken. Inedibly salty. The waiter was sweet. He gave us a free piece of cheesecake for our trouble. One piece. Won’t go back. It wasn’t expensive. It was clean. The staff was really friendly. The food sucked.
