   From being greeted upon my arrival throughout our entire meal, the entire staff was welcoming and very pleasant. Our waiter, Fabian, was top notch - friendly, helpful and polite. Sorry that Chi Chin in El Segundo is closing, but glad to hear that the staff is heading to the Sunset location. The South Bay will miss Chin Chin and its staff.

   Went to lunch and had the hot and sour soup with the Chinese chicken salad special. The soup was delicious and the salad was solid as well. The lunch special gets you the food at a better price.

   It took a long time for the food to arrive and when it was lukewarm. The food tasted very bland. We order orange chicken, but we got sweet and sour chicken. All the food was over cooked.

   Had lunch here on a Friday at noon but we were nearly alone in the restaurant. Service was good but the food was pretty average. Had a noodle dish that was very bland, garlic broccoli was ok, kung pau chicken was good. Not nearly as good as the PF Chang restaurant whose location it replaced.

   Chinese food is hard to come by in the Southbay. I was hoping this would be a good option but I was disappointed. The food was not very flavorful to me. However my husband thought it was tasty as he tends to find a lot of restaurant food too spicy whereas there’s not a lot of situations where there’s too much garlic if you ask me. We had steamed chicken dumplings, wonton soup, orange chicken, beef with broccoli. Basic stuff and all were basically adequate nothing special. Our waiter was nice but they appeared to be short handed (like so many places nowadays) as we had to wait a while for someone to come seat us. The decor seemed rather overly minimalist and I found the TV set to football not conducive to a nice food experience. Especially when people watching it were screaming and yelling every time they got excited. I doubt we’ll go back as we can get better food at Panda Express takeout for a better value and just eat it at home.

   The first time we went there, it was September 6, 2:09PM. Zarina served us, even my wife required hot water, she brought in pot and cup. It was really helpful. We ate Szechuan Green Beans and Pad Thai, healthy and not greasy. Kind of healthy "Americanize" Chinese cuisine. Afterward, we ordered three times take out through Uber eats APP. Pretty decent.

    This was a great place for our family gathering of about 12 people. The food and service were awesome, and everyone enjoyed it. We had a private room that worked perfectly.
