Greatly good food and wonderful service. Perfect before seeing a show! The pork chop was amazing!
Delicious beef- If you have been to Europe or South America, you know it tastes different (no hormones etc) EXCELLENT steaks
Excellent restaurant, highly recommended. Grilled oyster as a starter is a must.
I LOVE that they have grass fed steak. That is why I chose to eat here in the first place. Their steak is more reasonably priced than other steakhouses, and it's grass fed!! I had the hanger steak, and it was tender, juicy, and flavorful. I also chose the cauliflower as a side. My only regret was that I wasn't hungry enough for the empanadas and something from the dessert menu! Next time I come to NY I will be eating here again with a full appetite! This was a wonderful place to have dinner before a show! I made reservations and ended up arriving into NY late, and called to see if they could move my time for me and were happy to do so. Then when I got there they asked when my show was and said it would be no problem for me to be served and finish eating so I could leave on time! The service was friendly and attentive, and my whole dinner experience couldn't have been better!
Excellent Dinner and service. Everything was fresh and well prepared. A memorable dinner. We’ll be back
At lunchtime Sat. the restaurant was very quiet. The food was outstanding & we had a very relaxed meal.
Very good Argentinian food in an small quiet local and the service in good too.
A nice place to have a quiet steak meal in the theater district and it will not break the bank.
Overpriced. Service is good.
The Chimichurri they make has WAY too much garlic. not a pretty after feeling.
Drinks amazing. Waiter very attentive. Food delicious! Small, intimate venue
Great food & service. Definitely going again. Nice lean cuts with the steaks and even the organic chicken was great.
Birthday dinner for two. Very good overall experience.
The food was outstanding. Location was terrific, but seating is very tight and prices are high, but not out of the normal for NYC.
We love the place and the service we received
Very good food. The steak was good and the service was excellent. We went with the Prix Fixe menu and it was totally worth it.
Chimichurri is a nice of casual and fancy. The food is good, nothing to write home about and the service is great.
First time here and they scored a home run. Excellent empanadas, exceptional steaks and sides (the cauliflower was amazing), wine from one of my fave vineyards in Mendoza and panqueques cob dulce de leche for desert. It just doesn’t get better than that. Can’t wait to go back.
Authentic Argentina - including the wait staff. All the meats were cooked perfectly and tender beyond belief. Only minor cautionary note - they had no record of my OpenTable reservation, nor those of several parties that came in after we did. Fortunately, we were on the early side of dinner hour so they were still able to seat us -- but I'd confirm any reservations if you're going at a traditional dinner hour, especially before or after an evening performance.
Great food,great crew!!❤❤.
Delicious everything in this place!!!
I've always loved Argentinian after having worked in Buenos Aires. My meat eating friends from Italy loved it as steaks in Italy are expensive and not as tasty. The service here was impeccable for as busy as the restaurant was. I chose the bone in ribs cut LA style that was utterly delicious along with a great South American wine. I would highly recommend Chimichurri Grill to anyone desiring a taste of Argentinian beef
The food was amazing! I had the Vacio a la Gaucho (medium) and it was superb. The mushrooms side dish was also very succulent. Paired with a nice Malbec and it was perfect. The service was also excellent as our waiter told us the specials for the day.
Wonderful. Attentive staff. Delicious food
Great find close to times square. Food quality was outstanding with unique variations of steaks. Service was the best I've had in NYC! We will definitely go back.
Great experience here! Be sure and try the empanadas and the chocolate crepe brûlée. Very yummy! Service was great and loved how quiet the restaurant was for our wonderful meal.
Small, intimate space. The food was absolutely delicious, steak cooked to perfection. We also had the ceviche which was quite good. Will definitely go there again.
Wonderful! As usual. We never miss it when we’re in NYC
All three courses were amazing! The staff was kind and knowledgeable! Definitely will make a return trip from VA to NY for the purpose of eating at Chimichurri Grill again!
I have eaten here several times. The space is small, but somehow I never feel cramped. The decor is simple and serene. Lots of white--white paint on the walls, white tablecloths. The service is friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. The food is excellent--there is a focus on meat, often served with various sauces. When I was here recently, one friend had the hangar steak, another had the skirt steak, I had a flattened, very tender, filet. All of us were very happy with our choices. We had grilled calamari to start and they were chewy but not rubbery and very tasty. Lots of choices for sides. Long wine list, organized red/white, and by prices ascending. They also advertise and serve fancy cocktails, which we didn't try. We drank a very reasonable malbec by the glass and were very happy. Because it's a small space, and it's New York, and we ate there pre-theater the noise level was high, but it wasn't out of control. No loud background music. I really like this place.
Cozy and quiet with excellent service. Went on a Saturday previous to Matinee. Enjoyed the gazpacho, beef crepes and hamburgesa.
Muy buena Carne
I'm a New Yorker, a foodie, cook and traveler. I thought the restaurant was fantastic with the exception of the regular salad. Usually bad bread and or bad salad it's downhill from there. Although the regular salad was not great at all the ceviche, fish and hanger steak were fantastic. The french fries were fantastic as well as the veggies.
