Have been here several times for brunch and always have a good experience. Food is good and service is always quick and friendly.
Chimichurri was OK. We went during lunch and we were the only customers until another couple entered. We had the side salad which was drenched in an acidy salad dressing. Additionally, we had the Arugula & Parmesano pizza. TOO MUCH arugula and NOT ENOUGH parmesano. The service was good, but not great--especially considering the place was also empty. All in all, it was a sub-par experience and we won't return.
I made a reservation for 9 people at 5pm they contacted me one hour before saying" they management decided to close early @4. I tried asking for the manager but she said they were not available. I explained how unprofessional this is especially so close to the my reservation time, She said she was just doing her job. Trying to find a location in Bishops Arts for 9 people impossible. They completely screwed up our celebration !!
The food was okay nothing out of this works a sub par restaurant at best. It’s not a good representation of an Argentinian restaurant. The food is super salty and over priced.
Everything was delicious! Our steaks, empanadas, asparagus and potatoes. Loved it! We were sent the wrong empanadas at first and they sent the correct ones right away. Service was also smooth. I will definitely be back.
It was so so good, I’m going to come back soon!
Was my first time in this place . I like Argentine food and this is a place that I can recommend for have a nice dinner with authentic food. definitely I go back. the service was really good.
The food was delicious. Great place for some delicious meats.
Service was slow and sides arrived late. Pasta special was ok but not amazing. Bife de ojo was so dry/overcooked that not even the chimichurri sauce could save it. Empanadas de jamón were good. Spicy beef empanada was just ok. Service was slow considering the few amount of tables there. Really wanted to like this place but definitely will not be going back or recommending.
Las porciones en las empanadas son pequeñas, el sabor es muy bueno, buena frescura, agradable ambiente, música un poco alta, difícil encontrar estacionamiento
The wait staff and manager were very attentive. We ordered an assortment of appetizers and entrees. Really disappointed with portion size however the food was tasty.
We staeted with the empanadas which were pretty good as a main course, we asked for a mixed grill.
The main piece of meet was maybe the size of one quarter of a pound (that was the only piece of beef for a meal for 2 people)
We asked for medium rare and it was well done. We asked the waiter to exchange the "steak" and after 5 minutes he was back with a piece of meat that was just burnt on the outside and rare inside.
I've been to this place before and normally the food is really good and tje service even better but this time I got really disappointed by the quality of cooking and even worse the lack of generosity in the portions...
I am really bummed out that they replaced the gorgonzola empanada with a chipotle chicken one. However, everything is so great there.
The food is delicious every time we visit. The steaks, milanesa and empanadas are our favorites but the other starters and sides are also very tasty. The service was on point. The staff was helpful and checked on us to ensure we had everything we need. We personally enjoy the fun, laid back atmosphere and great mixed drinks as well! This is our spot to gather with friends and will keep on coming back for more Argentinian cuisine and good times!!
Incredible food and drinks - service was excellent! Great place to try new things!
Our server Virginia was priceless and so helpful with suggestions for our first visit. Everything was so good! We enjoyed our evening here so much
Empanadas are amazing! Staff was welcoming. We will definitely be back!
Food was amazing! Staff was prompt and friendly! Definitely coming back
Food is always amazing!! Highly recommend the Milanese and empanadas. Service is always great too. Also one of my favorite places to get a Carajillo.
We loved our experience here! I brought my parents to try this place out. I’d had already been here before and had the Margarita Patagonia and the beef empanada. I loved both so much that I wanted to come back for dinner some time. Well we ordered and beef and lamb empanadas last night and they were phenomenal as was the chimmichurri! Our drinks were great as well. We got the spaghetti dish with the peppers (I forget the name), the Fugazetta Especial, and the Napolitana. They were all so good and the portions are big! At the end of our meal we ordered the apple empanada with vanilla ice cream for dessert and the cocktail made with espresso and 43 liquor. They were delicious. 10/10. Also our service was amazing and we were even offered extra free drinks after dinner just because we were seated next to a party with loud children which was super sweet! We will be back :)
Everything was fine; food, service, menu options, etc. One major compliant is that for an Argentinian bar/bistro they played ZERO tangos...come on, really?
The food was amazing! I love the whole atmosphere! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to try delicious cuisine made with a wonderful dedicated staff. My Entrana steak was cooked to perfection! Big thank you to the Chef Jose C. Your cooking skills have mind blown me away! Thank you so much for your professionalism and hospitality!
Excellent service, amazing food, and the location provided lots of night life close by. It’s a bit on the pricey side but worth every cent! The only negative thing that I could say is that it was LOUD inside. Not so good for intimate conversations. 😉
Excellent food and service!
Excellent food and friendly service.
Wine, food, and prices were amazing! We will definitely be back!
I'm Argentinean, and this restaurant is authentic- both the food and decor (Maradona, Messi, Gardel, Pope Francis, Evita, etc., with Rodrigo's music playing). We had the beef milanesa a caballo (w fried eggs on top) and Quilmes beer, with a provoleta and a beef empanada as appetizers. All were excellent, and they include free chimichurri and warm French bread too..big potions...Highly recommend, will be back soon!
Excellent food and service, was the first time there, will definitely go back!
Good food. The empanadas were great. The food was prepared as ordered and the roasted vegetables were very good and flavorable. The server was very helpful. The noise level was a bit high but not horrible
It was an amazing experience, the food was fantastic and the environment blew us away from what we expected
Great restaurant..First time there will definitely be a repeat food was amazing!! Lots of options..
Chimichurri does a great mix of having just the right ambience and amazing food, and good service to match.
1. Spicy Beef empanadas -- Awesome! Just get it!
2. Lamb empanadas -- Awesome! Just get it!
3. Cheese empanadas -- They are Ok, but I would not get it the next time.
4. Cheese Milanesa -- LOVED it .. also side note, you can easily split this, this thing IS HUGE!
5. (special) Scampi Pasta -- I think this was the only thing that I was not sure about. Nothing wrong with it, but I found it a little bland taste wise (that is my personal opinion as I like my food to be very very flavorful)
1. Quilmes -- Love quilmes, it is difficult to get this one even in Specs/Total Wine and more, so happy that I got it here.
2. Evita -- Wife loved it. I would get it myself the next time.
Overall - 4.75/5 -- definitely a great value for your money!
Wait staff hovered too much when, music was too loud, never could hold a conversation without someone interrupting or shouting to be heard over the music.
We celebrated two birthdays there and food was good. Empanadas are the best and chimichurri also the server was nice. We were disappointed about the music, though. All our table were 14 people from Latin America and as the restaurant is advertised as authentic Argentinian, the music selection was poor and reminded us mexican cumbia from mexico city which is fine for a bit but all night listening to that was annoying and loud. We were expecting a variety of music especially from Argentina or from south america. Nice neon signs and pictures of famous argentinians such as Gustavo Cerati, not a single Soda stereo song though. Probably as a group not going back again.
This was our first visit to this recently opened Argentinian Steak House in the former Tilman's Roadhouse space in the heart of Bishop Arts. All in all, we had great time and we will definitely be returning. The food very good, and the portions were quite large, making sharing very easy and the server was very helpful with explaining the variety of dishes. His recommendations were excellent and we started with the three Empanada's for sharing (consensus favorite was the Gorgonzola), and for entrees, we had the Entrana/Skirt Steak which was cooked a perfect medium rare (delicious), the Milanesas/Bianca was a HUGE portion(also very tasty), and the Salmon decent portion and very good, although probably the least favorite of the three. We ordered a couple of side dishes, which were really not needed, as we barely touched them and still had no room for dessert! The space is fairly large and open, which can get a little noisy, but we were comfortable and had no problem carrying on a conversation. All in all a very good restaurant that is definitely worth a visit.
Sausage and morcilla to start the evening. We paired with a bucket of Quilmes. Then empanadas de Gorgonzola, beef and lamb. The entrees: vacio and ribeye with potatoes sides. Closing with Oreo cake for celebrating Argentina’s Copa America victory. Great ambiance.
Second time here and both times we had a great experience. Everyone friendly and the food is really good. Have only had brunch so far...will return one day soon for dinner. Highly recommend.
Wanted so much more.
The food experience was great. Loved exploring new flavors. The servers were very friendly and on top of things.
