Everything was fine; food, service, menu options, etc. One major compliant is that for an Argentinian bar/bistro they played ZERO tangos...come on, really?
The food was amazing! I love the whole atmosphere! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to try delicious cuisine made with a wonderful dedicated staff. My Entrana steak was cooked to perfection! Big thank you to the Chef Jose C. Your cooking skills have mind blown me away! Thank you so much for your professionalism and hospitality!
Excellent service, amazing food, and the location provided lots of night life close by. It’s a bit on the pricey side but worth every cent! The only negative thing that I could say is that it was LOUD inside. Not so good for intimate conversations. 😉
Excellent food and service!
Excellent food and friendly service.
Wine, food, and prices were amazing! We will definitely be back!
I'm Argentinean, and this restaurant is authentic- both the food and decor (Maradona, Messi, Gardel, Pope Francis, Evita, etc., with Rodrigo's music playing). We had the beef milanesa a caballo (w fried eggs on top) and Quilmes beer, with a provoleta and a beef empanada as appetizers. All were excellent, and they include free chimichurri and warm French bread too..big potions...Highly recommend, will be back soon!
Excellent food and service, was the first time there, will definitely go back!
Good food. The empanadas were great. The food was prepared as ordered and the roasted vegetables were very good and flavorable. The server was very helpful. The noise level was a bit high but not horrible
It was an amazing experience, the food was fantastic and the environment blew us away from what we expected
Great restaurant..First time there will definitely be a repeat food was amazing!! Lots of options..
Chimichurri does a great mix of having just the right ambience and amazing food, and good service to match.
1. Spicy Beef empanadas -- Awesome! Just get it!
2. Lamb empanadas -- Awesome! Just get it!
3. Cheese empanadas -- They are Ok, but I would not get it the next time.
4. Cheese Milanesa -- LOVED it .. also side note, you can easily split this, this thing IS HUGE!
5. (special) Scampi Pasta -- I think this was the only thing that I was not sure about. Nothing wrong with it, but I found it a little bland taste wise (that is my personal opinion as I like my food to be very very flavorful)
1. Quilmes -- Love quilmes, it is difficult to get this one even in Specs/Total Wine and more, so happy that I got it here.
2. Evita -- Wife loved it. I would get it myself the next time.
Overall - 4.75/5 -- definitely a great value for your money!
Wait staff hovered too much when, music was too loud, never could hold a conversation without someone interrupting or shouting to be heard over the music.
We celebrated two birthdays there and food was good. Empanadas are the best and chimichurri also the server was nice. We were disappointed about the music, though. All our table were 14 people from Latin America and as the restaurant is advertised as authentic Argentinian, the music selection was poor and reminded us mexican cumbia from mexico city which is fine for a bit but all night listening to that was annoying and loud. We were expecting a variety of music especially from Argentina or from south america. Nice neon signs and pictures of famous argentinians such as Gustavo Cerati, not a single Soda stereo song though. Probably as a group not going back again.
This was our first visit to this recently opened Argentinian Steak House in the former Tilman's Roadhouse space in the heart of Bishop Arts. All in all, we had great time and we will definitely be returning. The food very good, and the portions were quite large, making sharing very easy and the server was very helpful with explaining the variety of dishes. His recommendations were excellent and we started with the three Empanada's for sharing (consensus favorite was the Gorgonzola), and for entrees, we had the Entrana/Skirt Steak which was cooked a perfect medium rare (delicious), the Milanesas/Bianca was a HUGE portion(also very tasty), and the Salmon decent portion and very good, although probably the least favorite of the three. We ordered a couple of side dishes, which were really not needed, as we barely touched them and still had no room for dessert! The space is fairly large and open, which can get a little noisy, but we were comfortable and had no problem carrying on a conversation. All in all a very good restaurant that is definitely worth a visit.
Sausage and morcilla to start the evening. We paired with a bucket of Quilmes. Then empanadas de Gorgonzola, beef and lamb. The entrees: vacio and ribeye with potatoes sides. Closing with Oreo cake for celebrating Argentina’s Copa America victory. Great ambiance.
Second time here and both times we had a great experience. Everyone friendly and the food is really good. Have only had brunch so far...will return one day soon for dinner. Highly recommend.
Wanted so much more.
The food experience was great. Loved exploring new flavors. The servers were very friendly and on top of things.
What a great experience! Food was fabulous can’t wait to come back! Thank you :)
Food was almost 5 stars. Steaks super flavorful grass-fed deliciousness. Service was attentive but not well-informed. The manager was readily available to sort things out as needed. We’ll be back.
Food was very tasty. Cocktails were delicious. Service was great. Place is really nice. Highly recommend it.
The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend the spicy beef empanada.
I really wish we had gone here sooner. This place is incredible. The food is fantastic and the staff was so helpful. The empanadas and steak are delicious and the wine menu is full of great Argentinian options.
First time in the new restaurant and we were very pleased with the food and service. Nice to have something new and different to choose from!
Argentinian restaurant concept And decoration were excellent.
For Ambiental music, I was expecting some tango or something from national talent artists; there was playing bachata, reggaeton, and Colombian cumbias instead .
No alfajores, no mate, no tira de asado, no matambre, just traditional American beef cuts and a little bit expensive compared with other beef restaurants
The ribeye was tough, flavorless, also had gristle. The "beet" salad was mediocre. The potatoes with cream wasn't eventful. The empanadas were good.
Everything was delicious! The empanadas, the steaks were cooked perfectly and the milanesa was humongous!
The empanadas and bar were on point. Very authentic cuisine and Atmosphere for the location. If the staff would sell you on the best dishes and let you in on how to enjoy it in a traditional way it would be out of the park.
We loved this place. Food was wonderful. Waite staff was helpful and fun. You must order their frozen margarita. Cant wait to go back
Awesome place. Great food. As authentic as you can get without going to Argentina.
Food was amazing! The pollo de oregano is possibly the best chicken in dallas
Excellent food and service!
Loved the food and the music Great people watching out on the patio. Can't wait to go back!
This was our first time at Chimichurri, and it won’t be our last. The empanadas were insanely good, and our entrees - skirts steak, ribeye, the chicken Milanesa, and the Capeletti pasta with lamb, were all excellent (though the past was a bit too al dente)
Louisa was the most delightful server. Highly recommend.
Food is delicious, the spot is nice and the neighborhood is one of my favorites.
Mother's Day. It was the first time we visited Chimmichirra's. The empanadas were amazing. We ordered the beef and lamb and share. Yum. I will get those as a meal next time. Two of us got the chicken and it was a huge serving and such great taste and just so good. Two got a beef cut and again, just so good. The portions are shareable. We all took home half of our meals for later. We will be back!
Great for brunch. The staff is very friendly and the portions are gigantic. Food is well cooked and flavorful.
Great food and vibe. Not cheap, but a very positive experience, and very accommodating for our 1 year old. We’ll be going back!
