We love Chimayo. The food and service are always wonderful. Tyler is always attentive and not intrusive. Chef Arturo is a genius!!!
Not very impressed. Good wasn’t seasoned well and just tasted mass/quick produced. Waiter was not interested and covering too many tables. Tables crammed in too close, loud and felt on top of each other. Also tables were very high with chair too low, uncomfortable. Won’t be returning or recommending.
Great food and service, a bit pricy
Chef Arturo is consistently amazing. He always cooks to perfection! Bravo.
It took an hour an a half to receive our food. Food was excellent as usual but for the price, the service is lacking . This restaurant has definitely gone downhill since the last I went in 2019. I doubt we will return.
This is my favorite restaurant in Park City. We always bring our friends when visiting. They love it as well!!
Great food, knowledgable server, nice ambience. Only thing is that the service was a little slow. We were probably there for at least 20 minutes before we even received our drinks. Apps and entrees were a bit slow too. Fortunately we weren't in a hurry but it was still much too slow. Otherwise, we enjoyed our visit and food was great!
We make a trip out to Deer Valley, at least annually, and we always make a point of dining at Chimayo. Our server was on the ball. Thank you!
Amazing food, friendly, fast service. Beautiful presentation. Comfortable unique atmosphere. We will be back.
absolute favorite restaurant in Park City for over a decade. Always the best service and the best food!
Chimayo was recommended to us as an excellent choice in Park City. The setting is unique and beautiful. The meal was creative and excellent. It takes a Southwest style of cuisine to a higher level. The service was friendly and responsive. We enjoyed our dining experience.
Gourmet type Mexican cuisine that is DELICIOUS!!! We had great service and a wonderful meal.
We haven’t been to Park City in over ten years and returning to Chimayo was a must do for us while we were here. Just like our experience in the past, Chimayo did not disappoint. From cocktails, to apps, to main course, everything was delicious. We especially recommend the queso fundido, margaritas, sea scallops, and Elk London Broil.
The lamb was the best I have had anywhere- absolutely outstanding!
It was very delicious food and loved the ambiance.
The only thing I was not crazy about was the inedible garnish-which I think was raw pasta sticking out of the food?
Great dinner at Chimayo. Buffalo flank steak and elk london broil were outstanding. Churos also worth a try!
Wonderful service and food was delicious.
Silvado was excellent!! His enthusiasm and attention to detail was the icing on the cake! Food was amazing!!!
Always visit Chimayo when in Park City. It never disappoints!
This place has gone way way way downhill. The food was really not high quality. I remember eating here 7-8 years ago and it was much better. The food was just not great. The scallops were fishy and chewy, the duck enchiladas were basically a bunch of mush and just not tasty. The apps were ok. The guacamole was decent the ceviche was inedible. I hate to say this but I would stay away.
Chef does an amazing job.
Get the halibut!
We had a reservation and were seated immediately. When the assistant manager found out we were from Alabama he went out of his way to make us feel more than welcome. Too bad we are leaving Park City. Otherwise we saw several items on the menu to try.
ALWAYS have a GREAT time at Chimayo, and the food is FANTASTIC! Our favorite place with our favorite staff!
We were very pleased with everything from food to service to ambience. The restaurant was packed, but it was fully staffed and our sever was superb. My wife and I shared a great goat cheese stuffed Chile relleno which was comparable to what you would find in Santa Fe. She had the rack of lamb and I the Elk London broil, both exceptionally well done and an outstanding presentation. We never felt rushed, nor waited too long for anything. BTW, our margaritas were wonderful. Note this is not a “Mexican” restaurant but a Southwest, I.e., New Mexico restaurant with a couple of nods to tacos and enchiladas. Don’t miss Chimayo if you’re going to Park City.
Our favorite place on Main Street Park City. Everything is excellent on Chef Arturo's menu. His Spring menu is excellent bringing back lamb. The service is always impeccable. The manager Julie has a friendly and accommodating team.
The Food is Amazing. Never had a bad experience
Definitely my all time favorite in Park City. Food is always so yummy and can all be gluten-free. The service is excellent! Thank you
Reunion with friends; The ambience was remarkable, the wait staff professional, friendly, respectful, knowledgeable… Attentive, but not overbearing.
The food was not only beautifully presented, every single bite was off the chart delicious! We checked out the restaurant online prior to making our reservation, and the photographs online perfectly represent the meals in person! We started with the jalapeño margaritas, and beer and the cocktails were outstanding! There were 4 of us dining, each of us ordered something different, Nuevo Vallarta style sea scallops, elk London broil, rack of lamb, duck enchiladas, with cream cheese stuffed churros for dessert. Every bite was better than the previous, every single person at our table was very very pleased with their entrée.
HighSchool Graduation celebration
Had a wonderful dinner tonight at Chimayo. My husband had the Buffalo and I had the Halibut. Each of our meals were cooked to perfection. Amazing service as well!
The Elk London Broil was better than any filet mignon and the duck enclalida was sumptuously decadent
Food was delicious felt as if they forgot our meal. We had an 8pm reservation we didn’t eat dinner until 945
Chimayo continues to be our favorite restaurant in Park City. The food is distinctly different and much superior to the fare in even the most expensive restaurants. In fact, we enjoy it more than Salt Lake restaurants. In addition, the service is top flight - they are efficient and very friendly.
Duck upset my stomach. It was smothered over cooked and salty. Waitstaff was great!
Best place in PC . We hit Chimayo every time we pass through town
I would definitely recommend Chimayo! The food was excellent, the service was top notch and it made for a great birthday dinner for my sister
Chimayo was incredible! I make it a habit to visit high end restaurants in my state and this was BY FAR one of my favorites. Truly fantastic food and aesthetic. So worth it.
We love Chimayo and come back to it every time we are in Park City. The atmosphere is Southwestern and the servers are attentive and friendly. We had a watermelon salad that was innovative, light and refreshing. Try the wild mushroom quesadilla. The special was halibut and was executed perfectly. We eat on the healthy side, so we skipped dessert, but it sounded so good. We will be back!
Imaginative menu with Buffalo and Elk. Southwestern spice palate and good potion size. Very mice wine list with Spanish and South American wines. Attentive wait staff. Fully priced.
