   First time there. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and we had been to Fogo de Chao to celebrate birthdays previously. My friend kept remarking about how much he liked Chima Steakhouse, comparing our experience to what we had experienced at Fogo de Chao. The service and food were excellent. The staff was very attentive. Never had to ask for drink refills, and our server and the Gauchos kept asking if we wanted anything in particular, and then sent Gauchos with our preferences to our table. Can't recommend it more highly.

   1st of all, we had to wait for 30mins to get the table even we were on time. 2nd, the waiters need to know better to give out the foods on the right side of the customers not the left side since we DO NOT WANT TO SMELL THEIR UNDERARMS!!!! 3rd, the rushing services seem like to kick us out of the restaurant asap!

   Overall experience was great. Our server was good, but the only hiccup we encountered was that the meat-wielding waitstaff didn’t make it back to our table, a while after the first two visits, until we asked to speak with the manager. Quality of meat was soo good.

   I haven't been to Chima in 12 years. I am more of a vegetarian than a meat eater but I was reminded recently about their awesome salad bar. I did eat some of their meat but I prefer mine well done. It wasn't an available option really. Most of the well done meat I was given was actually charred and burnt. That's not well done, that's a carcinogen. The salad was lovely. The dessert were outrageously good. We both left beyond full! I may go back someday. One word of advice...if you go to Chima, don't load up on the salad bar so you have more space for the meat which is their speciality.

    Still not as good as it used to be. but has improved since we visited two weeks ago. Hopefully it gets back to the 5-star very soon! One main thing for star deductions- we asked for raw horse radish and fries. horse radish finally came after repeatedly request, the fries never came. (we still tipped generously $384 including taxes, and we added $100 tip-> $484).

    For a Wednesday it wasn’t as busy but it was a slow wait for meat to come around. We ordered drinks and they forgot my drink after waiting for the waiter to come around my husband told him they forgot my drink but at the point I didn’t want it anymore bc I was close to being full. So it was pointless. I stuck to drinking water for the night.

    We’ve been coming here for years but today the service was IMPECCABLE! Everyone was friendly, the waitress even gave my daughter another card for her doll —— that was super sweet! This is one of our favorite restaurants and today reminded us why.

    I noticed how your feedback did not allow to indicate the place was overwhelmining noisy - which you called politely but inaccurately energetic. It was ashame since the food was good and quality but I could not even hear the person on the otherside of the table. Without screaming it was impossible to hold a conversation. That degrades the abience and fun of what otherwise would have been a 5 star. It was so loud I could never hear the server. Sad

    Chima used to be our go-to for celebration. However, I have noticed it’s not as good as it was, especially yesterday. (1) We asked for fries and horse radish. when fries arrived, they were a few small, limp fries; and horse radish never came. (2) The server pushed us for drinks after we repeated two/three times said we wanted tab water. 3 (out of 4 of us) finally ordered some soda and drinks. (3) dirty plates were piling up on our table and finally removed when we were almost done with meals. (4) meats did not come out as sufficiently, frequently. we often finished meats and had to wait for a long time to spot and waved at meat people to bring us more meats. (we were there 4:30 - 6:15. maybe they were still preparing food?) (5) utensils at salary bars were sticky. Chima used to be a happy, cheerful place for our family and friends. I am saddened that it has became a so-so place now. We prob will be exploring their main competitor restaurants located in Tyson’s and DC next time when we want to do all-you-can-eat. (Or, go to Maryland’s Hot Pot Hero for the extremely high quality, AYCE hot pots. lol).

    This is my second review, I was impressed by Chima's customer service. They went beyond the call of duty in making sure we had a good experience dining at their establishment. They did not have to do any of that considering how busy they are night after night. I was contacted by Malak who showed a great deal of concern and professionalism in dealing with my experience at Chima. Definitely will be going back and recommending Chima to all my friends and family.

    My husband and I went to celebrate his birthday and the service was to die for! Everything about this restaurant was good. We did experience a minor language barrier upon checking in at the front desk and one of the ladies caught an attitude when I asked her what was taking so long for us to check in. Nonetheless, our money was well spent.

    Chima delivers great food consistently. Beef ribs and Grilled pineapple are our favorites! Indoor noise level is quite loud though. Great service and experience overall.

    Everything was good, reception, food, and place. Only the waiter needs more training to serve customers. We asked for ice to add it to our drink, he replied twice the drink is cold enough!!!!! That the only pitfall I don’t like. Thanks

    We come here for special occasions as a family. Tonight we came here for Mother’s Day and our waiter, Robel was amazing! The placed was packed with families celebrating and he did not miss a beat! He was cheerful, accommodating, and changed our plates in between which I appreciate so much!     Been to chima plenty of times but this Mother’s Day was the worst. The clean plates was not cleaned AT ALL, still had cheese and left over food on it and I did complain to the manager but he simply told us that it’s cleaned it just wasn’t “polished down”, and then walked away! They were over booked and crowded, we were out in the back so food hardly came over, service was extremely slow and took forever each time we asked for anything! I requested for certain meat but that never came! Overall chima this time did not meet our expectations! I get it , it’s Mother’s Day and it can get busy and under staff but it shouldn’t taken 20 min for our drinks and our side dishes that took 30 mins . Felt like a 260 dollar spent wasn’t worth it!

    I adore this restaurant so much! It was a lovely environment with great, fresh food that kept coming and we had no complaints at all. The salad bar was fresh and the meat was hot and juicy. The drinks were refreshing and my family loved it! We will definitely be back for more :)

    Our waitress wasn’t good !! He was distracted all the time I asked for spice sources and he never brings that to me. He even give me the menu for my drinks I needed to ask.
