Service was excellent. Waiter was very attentive.Food was delicious
Amazing food. Great service.
Food is always fresh. Waiters are always attentive. Ambiance is always good. Our favorite place to eat without a doubt!
Best steakhouse in the area! Attentive staff, service is excellent! They have the best quality meat and they season it perfectly! Must come for Wine promo on Wednesday, Caymus is $90!! If you haven’t dined here you must! Will definitely be back.
We have been to Chimas many times and always left very satisfied, but this last time the service was very slow, not as many choices of meat were offered as the previous times. Very disappointing!!!
Cyrus the waiter was awesome. Very friendly made our night special
We came here for Valentine’s Day and waited over 30 minutes to be seated when we already had reservations. We were seated near a door that had cold wind blowing in on a 28 degree night. There wasn’t much meat that came around to our table so we both left hungry and unsatisfied. I wouldn’t recommend this location at all. If you’re ever in Charlotte, NC then give them a try but this one was a miss for us. I would also like to add that I noticed the few times that we had meat offered to our table the waiters always seemed to give me a tiny scrap of meat while giving my husband good portions. I’m not sure that they understand that just because I’m a woman doesn’t mean that I should get the bare minimum of meat. If this is the case then maybe they should charge LESS for women since we get LESS food.
Excellent services, best food in town, very please with this places.
We had a great time at Chima Tysons Corner. I love their photo booth at their waiting area where we can take pictures with their photo props and lighting. It was perfect for valentines! The food was great. Service was excellent!
We went to have dinner with my parents to celebrate their anniversary. Service and food was delicious! and they brought a nice dessert for them at the end with a happy anniversary sign.
It was a good experience. The wait for the valet was unbearable. But I chalk that up to the fact it’s complimentary and it was freezing cold. Otherwise it was a great date night.
WE had a wonderful dinning experience. Restaurant was busy but very enjoyable.
We arrived a little early but they seated us almost immediately. Our table was a little small and seemed to have just been dropped in among the others. It was a little too loud but with that many people, I guess that is to be expected. The waiter was outstanding and always available. Meat servers were prompt, courteous and explained everything.
We were celebrating our anniversary and I noted that when I made reservations. While I did not expect "bells and whistles", I would have thought the restaurant would have acknowledged what we were celebrating.
Food was excellent and we will return and recommend.
I go to Chima a few times a year and I went this Saturday 1/15/2020 for my boyfriend's birthday. I made it apparent that it was his birthday and no one once said happy birthday to him. The place was absolutely packed due to it being Valentine's Day weekend and unfortunately, the building was also absolutely freezing. We had to move tables once to get further away from the door but it did not help. I was shivering the entire meal and we had to leave early in order to get home and warm. The party next to us was wearing their coat their entire meal. It also took a while to get food service and our very kind server had to asked multiple times if we had received any food yet. Once we went to leave it took approximately 20 minutes to get our car from valet. As we waited, we continued to shiver.
Nice spot for dinning would not recommend if you looking for privacy, variety of meats were tasteful but did not like the cold vegetables on the bar.
Our waiter was great and the rest of the staff as well.
Love chimas especially during a celebration like Valentine’s Day. Great food and even more maxing meat selection! Always a great place to go for any occasion!!
Wonderful food and great place to chill. I loved the atmosphere
Valentines days dinner was charged more than usual the meats never came around and was a waste of
Food was great as always. Our server wasn’t that attentive as in previous times, but I guess it was because it was Valentine’s Day. Overall experience was great
I would not recommend they visit during a holiday. I would also stress they utilize their server especially when specific selections of meat are not coming to their table.
We went back for Valentines Day last night. I made reservations, got there a little late, but was still seated immediately. Everything was good until the end. We paid our check and were still at the table getting ready to leave, when our server, I think his name was Boris, comes back over, lays out every bill we paid with on our table and points to the bottom of our receipt and says, "there's a suggestive tip at the bottom...." he continues on to tell us who all he has to pay from this tip. I get it you're a waiter, supposedly they dont make a lot etc... but the thing was the bills we paid his tip with were stuck together. I have NEVER in my life been so embarrassed. It's not about what he said, it's about how he did it. In a restaurant full of people on Valentine's Day and you come and lay all the money out on our table to complain about a tip that was there!?!?! I wont be back to this establishment. I've been treated far better at other places. I'll stick to Texas De Brazil.
It was a wonderful experience however I would’ve enjoyed if there was a vegetable other than heading to the salad bar.
Restaurant is great if you want to do fine dining with family and/or with with children. To give you an idea of the noise level, they have ambient Brazilian music playing in the back ground but you can barely here it, with all the noise. They tried to set the scene for Valentine’s Day but due to the crowd (families with children) I wouldn’t recommend this place as a romantic date spot.
I spend a beautiful and quiet night with my wife and friend for Valentine's day
Gratitude was included without telling. Upon arrival we asked for a bigger table, host seems unpleasant talking in Spanish with the sever about some complaint manner. Food was great, we got all requested food. It was Monday night, food service was okay. But gratitude was charged more than 20% overall, and is not worthy it for their server and service...
My favorite restaurant around dc!
Love their food and the meats just keeps on coming. The wait staff is always great and the meat servers take pride in the meat they serve cooked to your liking. The salad bar is wonderful. Bonus Coupons, however never seem to be for anything but the full Rodizio meal. There is free valet parking too.
Place was crowded so we had call the server a few times to get some meats and even water. Surprisingly the bill was $350!!! For 4 people with only 2 drinks and 2 sodas. No desert, no coffee. Just food and drink for $350 and still had to call manager bagging for a good service?
We went for dinner for my husband’s birthday. Our waitress was excellent and so was the servers who served the meat. They were so nice and helpful. My kids enjoyed the food. They are picky eaters so they provide fries and juice for them to enjoy. The meat choice were great. I loved the lamb chops, and their special meats which had an amazing taste in flavor. I don’t remember all the names but it’s their specials for dinner. We had a wonderful experience. Thank you for letting us experience Chima at another time. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone for dates and special occasions.
It is dangerous that a Steak House provides a spread for their initial bread product that is seafood without warming guests who are allergic. Extremely dangerous and not expected when the branding is for a Brazilian Steak House. Poor business practice.
I enjoy the service at Chima. I will never complain. However there are (2) facets that I can’t get over to go more often. When I go it’s because my family requests it and I am always reluctant to agree.
That reluctance comes from the food. The salad bar is is so cold and insipid. I don’t feel like I am eating too quality vegetables and the food just has no appeal to it. Secondly, the cuts of the meat are to thinly sliced and you never know when your style or cut of meat will arrive. For folks like me who don’t like raw meat, finding well cooked takes forever. The grill at ipanema is amazing and has great meat that tastes tons better.
Had a great time celebrating my father in laws birthday. Food was great and so was the service
From the moment we walked in, it did not measure up. From then on, it just showed the lack of hospitality attention and quality. Very let down im sorry to say. From every angle, not just one or a couple of details. Sorry but will not be returning.
Timely seating. Excellent food -- cold bar and hot table service. More families with small kids than I expected. A little loud. Very good overall.
Brother-In-Law birthday celebration. It was a very neat place, table was well set-up for 8 people. The server was very attentive and helpful.
We go there at 7:30pm they sat us immediately. Place was not too busy. We were offered explained the servicing process, meat cuts and the different options of the salad bar area. Server offered drinks and we were off to the salad bar.
The meats were juicy, tenders and the gauchos asked how would we like the meat cooked. Sirloin, ribs, lamb chops, chicken, grilled pineapple and other amazing options.
We were extremely happy with the service.
Food was good but service was definitely very slow. First time experiencing poor service here
I took my husband to China for his birthday, I was promised a dessert and never was brought to the table.
Best Brazilian steakhouse I’ve experienced. Salad bar is second to none!
