   Would have been perfect if the waitress told us gratuity was included.. we saw it anyway.. then we gave cash to pay the check and I asked the server for change .. she never bought the 23 dollars back .. I had to flag her down to get my change back .. she had no intention of giving us back our change.

   The food is good. Drinks are very sweet and seem as if they hardly have any alcohol at all. Place is pricey, but worst of all, the service is not the best. Unfortunately, since tip is included, there is no desire to get the order, right, do it in a speedy fashion, and just overall give you a great experience. The place is really pretty and lively and I love that you can smoke cigars, but if a waitress drops your dessert on the table after taking almost 40 minutes to get it after lunch, personally, I think, it should be taken off the tab.

   Have visited Chico Malo a few times and always enjoy our time there but this last visit was even a better experience thanks to the amazing service and attention of our server Natalia, wow, talk about going above and beyond; excellent attitude, personality and attentiveness!! Thank you Natalia 😃

   overall experience was not terrible, but the food is very overpriced. We ordered guacamole for an appetizer, and I literally put lemon for my drink and salt to make it better. I had mahi mahi taco, which wasn’t terrible, but my daughter is Carne Asada came in well over done completely burnt. I will never return. I enjoyed the ambience, I hope I paid extra money for good value. This wasn’t good value food

   The ambience and the staff were amazing however the food was not up to par. My wife and I ended up taking our food to go because we did not particularly like the food. I would however come again because of the aesthetics of this restaurant!

    Unfortunately it was very cold and the restaurant manager was unable to close the doors to keep it warm inside. So everyone dining was very cold, bundled up in coats and scarves to stay warm inside. It made our meal miserable sadly.

    We got there and they took forever to even bring us water to the table. The bottomless is a waste, margaritas were straight up lemonade and very salty. The food took over 45 minutes and by the time it got to our table the carne asada was cold on all the plates and the toast for the avocado toast was so tough to cut through it was barely edible. Had to complain to the manager, and yes, they comped our food (thanks to the manager who was sitting at the bar the whole time), but now we realized that they charged us bottomless for the girl who was pregnant who had nothing but OJ. The place is super cute and the ambiance is what you'd expect for a nice brunch but the service was awful. Everyone at our table has said that's the last time we'd go there. We were so excited to celebrate our friend's birthday and we left highly disappointed. Can't even say that the service was bad because they were packed because there were less than 10 tables in the whole restaurant being occupied at the time.

    La musica absolutamente inapropiada para un restaurant y muy alta que a penas podiamos hablar. Muy desagradable el ruido y la musica de reguetoj. Que pena. Cuando hice la reservacion anotè que estariamos celebrando cumpleaños. Nadie hizo mencion, le pregunte a la chica hostess y me dice que ellos no reciben esas notas. Otro detalledesagradable. Excelente menu y de muy buena calidad

    Like this place. Reservations were for outside for 3 for dinner. After 5 minutes we had to request inside. The music was soooo loud we couldn’t even talk. I love much but it was to much. We felt we were sitting right under the speaker. Food was very good. I would defiantly go back

    The food was tasty, but wasn’t outstanding or extremely impressive. The drinks were delicious, but we felt that the presentation was too simple and didn’t match the decor and vibe of the restaurant. The service was OK. Our waitress seems rather disinterested in serving us at first, since we were ordering dishes to share, until the very end when we kept ordering more and more dishes. We would’ve liked to have felt more welcomed. The restaurant was very cool, decor was dark and contemporary and the music was energetic. It was a great spot for a Saturday night.

    The service was bad we waited for someone to come and take our order almost 20 mins then we waited for someone to ask if we wanted something else only one hour past and we couldn’t order drink or food because no one came to our table. Very disappointed manager only said ohh you only been here one hour i was yean only one drink and appetizers and he never came back to our table to ask if he wanted other round or anything. Very bad customer service and the place was not fully packed.

    Happy hour is advertised but the server did not bring it up or offer it. The server was not friendly at all. Frankly he seemed like he did not like his job. Very over priced.

    Food was not great and overpriced. One of our parties chicken was raw in the middle. Nice ambiance and music but food and drinks were not worth what we paid for them. Drinks took forever after ordering them.

    Took my friend there excited to show him a good time. The restaurant was empty they sat us in a table where the roof was leaking. We a kindly asked to move to another table they sat us in a dark SUPER loud high top at the bar and told us this was the only table available. That was a lie it was 8:30PM and there was ALOT of empty tables. The server took our drink orders and then another server came up to use to introduce herself and ask us for our order we told her another server took our order and this women just started at us with attitude like I was speaking a different language… my friend and I just awkwardly laughed and she walked away clearly upset. We could barely hear each other the music in this area is sooo loud that my ears are still ringing. We asked the server taking care of us if they could lower the volume. It never happened. We ate and got out of there as quickly as we could. Terrible service. No wonder why this place was empty. I won’t ever go back to this place.
