Chickadee is a New England born and Mediterranean inspired restaurant situated in the heart of Boston’s Innovation and Design Building. Named after the state bird of Massachusetts, Chickadee is a collaboration between long time friends and industry veterans, Chef John daSilva and Ted Kilpatrick. We offer a seasonal menu highlighting ingredients from local farms, markets, and producers. Our full bar boasts a strong cocktail program that draws inspiration from the kitchen. We also offer a thoughtfully curated wine list and a selection of local, craft beers and ciders. We here at Chickadee are big on having fun, while maintaining a standard of excellence when it comes to the guest experience.

We enjoyed a true fine dining experience at a recent dinner at Chickadee. An interesting and varied menu with lots of small plates worth trying, including outstanding pasta dishes available in half and full portions. Terrific wine list. The service could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The interior space is modern and attractive and well designed. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. Easy parking in the evening. Worth every penny, and definitely worth a visit.

A must visit. Went for brunch which was a real treat. Can't wait to try the dinner menu. Food plating was inviting and interesting. Lots of people for a Sunday brunch.

Outstanding experience. We have been here many times and each time it is a very delicious experience. New dishes and old ones are superior to most other fine restaurants in Boston.

Read great things, but surpassed by experience. The food was amazing. Husband is vegetarian and I'm pescatarian. Although the menu is not large, there was plenty of choice for us and the flavors were out of this world. The palate was so earthy and yet sophisticated. Every bite a little miracle. Service was flawless: warm, attentive, but old school manners (non-intrusive, non-rushed, no one taking plates before all parties were done). We will definitely be back.

Could have had a better atmosphere and been less drafty. The food was good but not Mediterranean New England as described.
