Chicago Woodfire Pizza Co

We made reservations for kids night in which Magic Dave, magician visits. However, he did not make it. The restaurant failed to update the signs outside the restaurant (still advertised for Magic Dave and kids night) as well as the Facebook event.

The service was poor as we waited 45 min for food for a relatively empty restaurant in a Tuesday evening. The tables are very small, which is not conducive for large pizza orders! We could barely fit 2 adults and 2 children with a drink. There was no place to put the pizzas we ordered!

We have other preferred pizza restaurants in the area-we will not be back for pizza.

When we arrived and told the hostess we had a reservation for 7 she responded with “oh” turned and walked away. It should have been our sign to leave. The service was poor. Our waitress obviously could have cared less about us. She put all the waters, plates & napkins at the end of the table and left them there. We passed everything around ourselves. She also disappeared for long periods of time. She didn’t put in my husbands order. She said she rushed it and it would be 4-6 minutes. It arrived 20 minutes later. They were “nice to give us 10% off but that was less than the price of the burger. It would have been better for us to just not pay for the burger. I do not recommend this place.

Good value, nice people, service a bit slow at times.

The restaurant was very crowded so the noise level was quite high! Overall the service was a bit slow, but not too bad!

I really enjoyed the hand tossed pizza crust. The regular crust is too doughy. Salads are always fresh.

Great experience at Chicago Woodfire PIzza Co. for a team holiday lunch. The staff was fantastic! Very attentive, offered honest suggestions. Drinks and food were both delicious!

Food was good, service by Nichole was excellent! Loved being able to reserve online. Especially being at a mall! Will be back.

Pizza was RAW the dough was so undercooked you could pull it with your fingers. Upon attention to the manager they just offered a new pizza which would also seem to be raw? Don't come here if you want to eat raw pizza.

Terrible thin crust pizza...crust tasted like cardboard

The new menu is worth a look. The salads are quite good--always fresh.

Over priced for the amount of food you get - sadly disappointed with this new place.

We came on a Thursday when they have all-you-can-eat one ingredient dip-dish pizza. When we arrived we found that it may take more than 30 minutes for the pizza to be cooked so we decided to go with their speciality thin crust pizza instead (not all you can eat on Thursdays). The pizzas were tasty and the crust was perfect. The server was very attentive and very helpful.

Went there for all you can eat sea food frenze. First off it was dead and dead for a reason. Crab legs were very watery and very messy! Our waiter was nice but newer, didn’t really give us good answers to our questions. After we finished, he asked if we wanted desert, I asked to see the desert menu, he said he has a really good churro desert with ice cream. He then said wait the kitchen is closed and they would get mad if we put a order in it was 8:50. Spent over 100$ for two people, definitely wouldn’t go back for it. Never tried their pizza tho 🤔

The wood roasted corn pizza sounds different but it was fabulous! Our service was also outstanding!

The food was fine and would recommend the pizza's as that is what is specialized. The service I was very happy with as we had a large party with kids and difficult orders. The server Maggie, was attentive, courteous and made certain the order was right and kept us up to date when the kitchen got backed up. She never seemed harried or annoyed. This is always greatly appreciated. The staff all seemed happy to be there and enjoying themselves. Would recommend this fairly new restaurant as it was very worth it.

Change your chairs! The most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever sat on! Would have been perfect if not for that

Our server was super nice. Food was a little slow coming out considering the restaurant was not very crowded, but everyone like their food. The chairs are super uncomfortable! Seriously, they need new chairs.

Located inside Gurnee Mills mall, close to parking lot entrance. Good salad selection in addition to pizzas and burgers. We were there for lunch on a weekday, restaurant was mostly empty.

The place is located in a mall so there will be a higher noise volume. Went there told them I had a reservation and got seated right away. Our server took a little while to get to our table but when she did she was polite and apologized for the wait. We ordered the specials

First time to restaurant. Staff seemed very new or inexperienced. Took time for our drinks to come because the dishwasher was busy. When we finally order dinner, I mean finally because we hadn’t talked with our server yet, she seems disengaged. Had spinach and artichoke dip; was good. Chicken nachos weren’t that tasty and had like liquid cheese; no flavor. How do you mess up nachos? Main dish BBQ chicken pizza, was good a little too sweet. Maybe they just had a off night? As far as the restaurant, unsure what it looked like, we were seated away from everything in a small corner table that backed up to something else so our backs were to the rest of the restaurant; make the feng ship was disturbed and that’s what we were picking up on.

We really enjoyed our date night out for Friday all you can eat crab legs. The service was spectacular! We didn’t have to wait for more servings of crab legs. The food was delicious and served hot. We definitely plan to visit again soon!

The food was fine, but nothing was exceptional. It did take quite a while to get food or drinks re-filled, and even though we made reservations, we were sat at a very small table for our party. It was a fun atmosphere, but it's not something I would plan again.

I love crab legs and this was the second time I had come to the restaurant. I had a good time and I didn't get sick.

I loved it I just would have liked to be a little more private and just more quiet and romantic. We have two young kids at home so we don’t get out often alone, so it just would have been nice to hear each other and not have people sitting so close to us. But everything else was perfect.

All I can say is, Yummy! AUCE Crab Legs! Hot, tender, juicy crab legs!

Our server Noah was outstanding, he helped to feed our group in an efficient and kind manner, will be back again!

The service was ridculous. We went for the all you can eat crab legs. On reorders they were bringing 3 bunches per plate. Yes, this is a normal reorder amount PER PERSON. We had 3 people at the table and they were bringing 1 reorder plate FOR THE TABLE. So on reorders, we would each get like 4 crab legs and then we had to wait 15 minutes for the next ration. At one point, our server disappeared. Someone else, out of the blue just showed up after we had to flag someone down. Very disappointed.
