Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The Oyters Rockerfeller left us wanting to order more, but we did not want to fill up on the appetizer. I had the Haddock special which Chef Zach cooked to perfection, moist and flaky. My guest had a steak which he said was as good as his favorite steak place, Mortons. Great wine selection as well. I will be bringing all of my business guests here from now on.

There were 5 of us and sometimes that’s not easy. The wait staff is very accommodation. I order a cocktail with lime but instead it came with lemon. She immediately brought me a plate of limes. One guest wanted something not on the menu, no problem, the kitchen can do anything and our guest was quite happy.

the filet was over cooked and the brick chicken was dry
the restaurant was very noisy and there were kids running around the dining room where we were hoping to have a romantic birthday dinner

Food was tasty, service was great.
The only problem is that 3 of the 10 of our party ordered steak.
All three were over cooked... They did not want to wait for recooking so they ate them anyway.
I have to say the food tasted good, but if you're going to pay $45.00 for a steak it should be cooked the way you ordered it!
Creamed spinach was more like cream of spinach soup... again tasty but not worth $8.95!

Had to wait almost 20 minutes even with a reservation. What was the point of even making a reservation? We were the only people waiting and two parties that came in after us that did not have a reservation were seated before us. It seems they knew the owners or managers because they all came over to say hi and shake hands. While the food and wait staff service was excellent, this type of front-of-house service from the hosting team makes me question the management and leadership of this restaurant which is a shame because everything else about our dinner was fantastic. There are plenty of other restaurants where we can go and not be treated this way. It will probably be a while if ever until we come back to this restaurant.

Delicious and well presented food. Service was excellent even with a packed house. Thoroughly enjoyed the live music and dancing. Would highly recommended.

If you enjoy having a meal in a restaurant noisier than an enclosed sports arena, this is the place for you. Tables are set on top of one another, and the result is normal-volume conversation is impossible. The food and service were fine, but the unacceptable atmosphere overwhelms everything. Chicago Prime Italian will be a one-and-done for two couples.

Wonderful food. Bruschetta was very crispy with lots of tomatoes. Had gnocchi with marinara sauce, peas, peppers and broccolinni. Then a perfect pair of cannolis for dessert. Portions were generous. Took enough leftovers home for a whole meal. Outstanding service. The noise level was much too loud for a high end restaurant. Could not hear across the table. They said they are working on reducing the noise level.

While it's a little bit of a trip for us, we try to make it to Chicago Prime Italian often. The food is excellent and the service is also outstanding and fun. This time we met two of our friends for dinner who have dined at some of the best restaurants in the Chicago area. They both loved the food.

This particular evening (March 30th) a female singer performed who had a beautiful voice and a broad range of songs. So we stayed longer, ordered dessert, and then more drinks. A great evening.

Over priced and over rated. Have you seen the parking lot ? It is all torn up and in desperate need of repair. Is a lawsuit waiting to happen with customers getting hurt.

Have been here before and still high quality menu and service. They are willing to modify the menu entrees to suit your tastes/needs. Though Salmon Vesuvio is not on the menu, they made it for me and for my wife they substituted a Red Wine Reduction sauce in place of a Whisky Reduction sauce for her Drunken Filets.

When ordering, keep in mind that every is Ala Carte!

Our server Rich was more that accommodating though not pesty.

Very noisy, could hardly hear anyone speaking. Totally rushed through our meal. Couldn't put our fork down without being asked if we were finished. Wanted to take the bread basket before the entree was even served. Would not suggest this to anyone. What happened to a relaxing dinner

The food was excellent. My dirty martini was perfect, a full glass. I have had a several entrees: sea bass, zuppa di mare (seafood pasta ), pork chops calabrese, 8 finger pasta-outstanding; always delicious. We also had a 50 birthday party here last year and they did an excellent job. First time posting a review.
