   The food was awful. The dinner salad was iceberg lettuce with a mealy tomato and a passable piece of cucumber. I asked for no dairy, butter, or cheese on the Greek chicken dinner and it arrived covered in butter. I was told it was only a little butter. I sent it back and my partner was finished with her dinner by the time the second chicken arrived without seasoning, lemon, or thankfully butter. The baked potato was small and dried out. Only the broccoli and carrots were fresh. The chicken was a pullet, skinny and malnourished and greasy. The table was sticky and the bathrooms were passable. I wouldn't go back, and although it was a Friday night only 2 other tables were occupied. It was disgraceful. The bus boy came in and changed the baseball game we were watching to something of his liking and then left, we requested to have the ballgame put back on the tv. I refused the meal and they asked if I wanted to take it home. The waitress gave us a 10 dollar coupon for our next meal and gave us 5 dollars off the meal. I said that we weren't coming back and didn't want the coupon and thought we shouldn't pay for a meal that would have poisoned their diner and then pay for a meal that was subpar and delivered when everyone else was finished with their meal. We were finally comped. I fix something at home.

   Not what it used to be. Service was great, place was empty, food not up to the standards I remember from a few years back.

   Great place, friendly atmosphere. Great food and prices are reasonable. Would go back again!

   First off, everyone was very nice and tried to be helpful. When I made the reservation, I specifically said that my husband is in a wheelchair. They didn't seem to know anything about it and it is not easy to get into the restaurant itself. I was shown a side door, but the one into the restaurant faces out and it was very hard to get the wheelchair into it through the 2 doors. Plus, the bathrooms are in the bar area, which is up3 stairs. Definitely not accessible. The food was good, servers were nice, but toward the end, there was a private party being set up in our room and we ended up leaving earlier than planned.

   I've been going to Chicago Joe's for years, a staple in the neighborhood. Our waitress was very nice & reasonable drink and food specials.
