Chica Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Probably the best food we had on the trip. The restaurant was very clean, the food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend putting this location on your list of restaurant to visit.
The empanada starters are excellent and I highly recommend the pork dinner and for dessert the churro ice cream was fantastic.
We spent the evening dinner there and the service was great, very attentive and good with recommendations. The food quality was good and the portions were ample. It's a bit pricey but so is everywhere else in Las Vegas. Would recommend, particularly if you're staying near The Strip as it's easy access in the Venetian
Amazing food. Loved everything we ordered. Service was inconsistent - almost like opening week at a restaurant. Took 10 minutes to get our drinks after order placed. We ordered several dishes to share. Most came all at once but last dish, which was rice side dish, came 20 minutes later. Server was friendly. All that said, would go back tomorrow for the wonderful and unusual food.
It was a terrible experience from the minute we walked in the door. The portions are incredibly small, the drinks were not good and the service was BIZARRE at best. There was no value here. You might as well leave them your wallet. Will not be returning.
My server was great and the restaurant had an excellent atmosphere. The music choice was in good taste. Server was attentive and friendly. Food was excellent, octopus is a must. The lamb was excellent except the seasoning/crust was too salty. Once scrapped off, the neat was exceptional. Overall a very good dining experience.
OMG! Absolutely AMAZING! First time there and it won't be the last! So many other menu items that I would like to try. We had a couple of small plates like the Octopus (so incredibly tender) and the Empanadas (so much flavor). I had the Yucatan Halibut (they were out of Halibut but substituted Wahoo) and it was GREAT! Friends had the Meyer Lemon Rotisserie Chicken, the Porchetta and the Short Rib. EVERYONE enjoyed their meals. We also had the Hoppin' Jose Rice and the Sweet Plantains. Both were incredible! Unfortunately there was no room for dessert!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHICA!!! I can't wait to go back to Vegas and try more selections!
The food took to long came almost cold small quantities and extremely pricey. Also ordered a glass with milk after remind the waitress twice brought a small coffee cup and then after we complained went to bring a glass with milk.
Not a pleasant experience
I am so disappointed by our experience here. I recently heard of this place and with the great reviews and unique menu, we decided to try this out for our group New Years dinner. Honestly, one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I will say the location is great, decor is beautiful!
We had a group of 7 people. We ordered several appetizers, we received one appetizer for the entire table and waited at least 15 mins for the remaining appetizers to arrive (although several of them were easy things like chips and guacamole or chips and salsa). Then we received our entrees. Two of my friends had ordered steak and both were completely cold when they arrived. They notified the server who said she would bring new steaks for them. Another person ordered corn which did not seem fully cooked when received. My boyfriend and I ordered a side dish of rice which the menu said had "fried rice, beans, and topped with fresh avocados". Halfway through eating the rice I realized there were small pieces of pork in there.... I'm a vegetarian and my boyfriend is a kosher jewish and so obviously doesn't eat pork. The pork absolutely was not called out on the menu. Also there was edamame in the rice which was not called out. And instead of fresh avocados, there was a scoop of guacamole. I notified the server and she said "really? That's not on the menu?" I checked again to be sure, not called out at all. She asked if I wanted it remade, and I said absolutely since neither of us eat pork. That should not even be a question. The two steaks then arrived but it was clear they had just been cooked a little longer and replated, it was so awful one of the guys just asked to send his plate back. By that point every one else had pretty much finished their meals. my new rice dish came when we were done eating. Absolutely nothing was done to remedy the dishes that were wrong, except they comped the one steak that had been sent back. I am shocked at this service and extremely disappointed
It’s ok. You need to make a lot of modifications to the meals in order to enjoy the food. I appreciate fusion, but the chef went a little too far with some of the traditional Latin American dishes. To the point that some stuff is just not tasty. The appetizers are the best part. Entrees are mediocre at best.
Love me some Chica! Great energy, music, service and decor - but the food??? INSANE. The Chicken chicharrones plate is generous and the creamy mojo, I could just drink from a bottle! The grilled octopus is perfection as was the Cuban sandwich. Perfect bread and perfect toast on it. The empanadas and guacamole are delicious too. DO NOT leave without getting the churro pops. Thank you Dee for the gorgeous cocktails and great service! Can’t wait to go back.
The food was very well prepared and varied. Lots of yummy things to choose from. Instead of buying entrees, which sounded delicious, we ordered a selection of small plates and sides. They were all delicious and well-portioned. The service was also excellent-our server was attentive, but not intrusive. He showed up at all the right times. Even though we ordered seemingly random dishes, they all arrived at the same time, and we enjoyed a lovely dinner. We will be back.
Best restaurant at the Venetian. It was our first time at this place and it was great by far. Maya and all the staff were accommodating and the food was great. Service was excellent and the chef is superb. We were celebrating anniversary lunch and were spoiled with great service. Thank U all.
Chef surprised us with a special cake marking our anniversary.
It was very confusing why we didn’t get enough attention from our waiter as the restaurant didn’t look crowded at the time we were there. I assume, restaurant manager finally greeted us and took our order for a beverage as our waiter was nowhere to be seen. The same person at the end of our lunch asked if we would like a dessert menu. Food was good but it was obvious “Chica” was short staffed that time.
Dined at Chica for the first time and was overall satisfied with the place. Food was well prepared with lots of flavor. Started with the Chicken Chicharrones and Classic Ceviche, both were excellent. Had the Short Rib and Strip Steak for mains along with sides of Sweet Plantains and Roasted Mushrooms. All were spot on...just seemed to take a while for the steak to appear for some reason. Finished with the Venezualan Chocolate for dessert which was also great. Just a small bone to pick that it being a birthday and us being locals, a small gesture would have been appreciated like an amuse or a small dessert...overall a good experience though...
We went here for our Anniversary dinner and it turned out to be a great experience. We made reservations and was seated right away. The service was great. We had the Trio de pico for an appetizer with our drinks Apple sangria and a beer. We had a complimentary champagne which was very tasty. As our entree my husband had the short rib. I had the pork tacos which are small but since I wanted desert I wanted to make sure I had space. Dinner was great. Definitely a must try.
This was my second visit to Chica, but my first time for lunch. It was quite empty this time of year, but service was on point and we got squared away very quickly.
We started with the guacamole that is great. Love the arepas and the plantains for dippers.
For our entrees, we had the short rib tacos and the cuban sandwich. Both excellent, although I would say if you were really hungry the tacos is on the smaller side of lunch items.
Finally, for dessert I had the Venezuelan chocolate pastry (forgot the name) that was fantastic. Overall, very pleased and look forward to coming back.
We really wanted to like Chica, and some of the food was excellent. We enjoyed the trio of picos and the empanadas. However, it took a very long time to get wine after it was ordered, and my wife's crab and shrimp salad came without any crabmeat. My chicken had some pieces that were moist and tasty, and others that were dry as a bone. It also took so long for our waitress to return for our dessert order that we gave up.
