Salty, oily, unaccommodating are still acceptable but untruthful is not. Careless and unapologetic. Management did acknowledge missteps after asking a lone waitress that was professional for help. Dry aged 28 days New York steak done correctly but full of sinew, disappointing. Overrated and way too sure of themselves.
Rare in LA to find good quality products! This place felt like we were in Italy . Very intimate sizewise restaurant .
PS: the scampis came from Spain amd were amazingly fresh and good!

Incredible food. Everything we tasted was excellent. Large portions which we did not finish. Only problem we had was that we wanted to take home our extra meat, but after we got home we found out that the busboy did not give us our meat. Very disturbing.

We had the pork blade chop, beef short ribs, grilled broccoli and of course the focaccia de Recco. The focaccia was great, flakey texture with creamy cheese. Would have been elevated if it was properly salted. The broccoli on the other hand was too salty, could have also scaled back on the amount of oil used. The pork chop was divine, great charred taste and the seasoning tasted a little spicy to give it that extra kick. The beef short ribs were also good but the cut we had was a little hard to chew. Definitely a place I would come back to. Also appreciated the ice cream and waffle they gave us for our special occasion!
