   Unfortunately a disappointing visit. I booked the table 2 months in advance as the evening was for a special birthday celebration, which I advised upon booking. The table wasn’t ready on arrival and the seats were still wet from cleaning when we were shown to the table. It took 45 mins for someone to take our drinks order. 30 mins later (after chasing a few times) we were informed that the particular wine was not available but a bottle twice the price was. We ordered an alternative, to then 10 mins later be told this also wasn’t available. A further 10 mins on we were then served the original bottle we ordered. Food order and service was very slow. The Buddha bowl edamne was still frozen. Nothing was done to acknowledge that is was a special celebration. I have been to Chi previously which was an extremely positive experience which is why I’d booked again. The restaurant seemed very short staffed and under a lot of pressure.

   Not a very nice dining experience , noisy and food ordering awful .Take away orders seemed to take preference and staff told us they couldn’t guarantee food ordered would come together . One dish arrived at a time . There was 4 of us and sharing wasn’t what we wanted . Wouldn’t return .

   We visited for a girls get together and we had an amazing evening. The food was absolutely delicious and there was a lot. We had such a great time and the staff we’re polite and couldn’t do enough for us. Thr bill at the end of the evening was very reasonable . A great place to go for food - we’re even booked in for bottomless brunch we can’t wait

   We came in November 2021 for the first time and it was really nice but this time round it was nasty.... The food was just so horrible. We felt so bad so we took the rest home to throw it away. I wouldn't come again. I can understand why people left from working there. The automatic service charge is also appalling.

   Was given a beef dish but the beef was just fat and gristle, I ask for a replacement, 15min later was told that they had run out of beef and offered a pork one instead, this took another 20min. Apart from that the meal was lovely.

   Overall it was ok. There was a problem behind the bar which led to many staff sorting that and ignoring customers. We ordered and got something different. Then waited 30 mins for bill. Taylor was excellent albeit under pressure with no manager assistance !! She deserves a medal

   We had dinner at Chi on Saturday night and it was perfect - the food was delicious and the service was very quick and friendly - clearly a very well managed restaurant and we will definitely we coming back! Thank you Chi Rushden Lakes - spot on!!

    Went for 7.30pm, the restaurant was not too busy, was sat down quickly and drinks order taken and menus given. Food arrived before drinks even though I asked twice when the drinks would turn up. Do not understand why drink service was so slow. Food comes out at different times, which meant for us that the rice for the curry arrived a good 10 minutes before the curry came out which meant the rice was cold. The food is tasty but not really good value for money for what you get, Three dishes and 2 drinks one being a coke came to 46.00, which is very expensive, dont like that service is automatically added without you getting a choice whether to top for good service. Would I return possibly not, food needs to be more plentiful for the price and alot hotter when serviced.
