About Chez Pierre Bistro
Chez Pierre Bistro is an authentic French Bistro, one everybody wishes they had in their neighborhood. Most of the dining is in the charming covered patio where the ambiance is intimate, friendly and always very professional. Prepared by Chef Pierre with the knowledge, passion and respect of the seasonal ingredients from the farmer’s market, the food is superb. The specials on the blackboard are impressive, unusual and follow the seasons. In winter you can find Chef Perre’s famous cassoulet to wild game; In the spring shad roe and soft shell crabs; and in the summer you can find paella, steak tartar, and pomme frites.
It’s no surprise that Chez Pierre has been voted The Best French Restaurant of the Desert for the past six years and has been rated “Dining Excellence” by Zagat and Gayot.
You may be tempted to sign up in Chef Pierre’s cooking classes every Monday followed by lunch.

Chez Pierre Bistro Ratings and Reviews
The food is excellent. Several French favorites not found in many Bistros (e.g., Frog Legs). We were having a late Valentine's Day dinner. I had the San Dabs which were delicious. My husband had the Hanger Steak which he thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant is small and when filled, it can feel a little cramped and the noise level can be a bit high. otherwise it is a great dining spot.
Our dining experience at Chez Pierre Bistro was absolutely outstanding. This little gem is a must whether visiting the desert, or if you are a full time resident. The cuisine is beyond delicious, service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is quaint. Can't wait to go back.
The onion and goat cheese tart was lovely; delicate puff pastry, caramelized onions and cheese. Escargot were also yummy. The cassoulet was more solid, as a casserole, not like a soup; delish. The wild boar and pasta was delectable. The boar was very mild in flavor, not gamey at all. Profiteroles for dessert were wonderful. Bread and pate as a starter were delightful. All in all, a delicious evening.
Great first experience, the Casulet was as good as promised, the escargot was very yummy and French onion soup was out of this world,, pappardelle bolognese pasta was very good, apple tart was ridiculously delicious, and our server was great,,,
My boyfriend and I went to Chez Pierre for New Years Eve and had a wonderful meal and great service. The staff was so nice and friendly. I was especially impressed that there wasn't a limited or special menu as some restaurants do for NYE. We highly recommend Chez Pierre for any occasion.
First time here, wife and I. Waiter was corteous and explained menu items and specials. Both ordered wild mushroom soup was delicious. I ordered frog legs and wife ordered roast duck.
Bread and pate were provided and the pate, which was a chicken/duck combine was excellent. eCould have had that for a meal, by it's self. Frog legs were prepared and served just right and wife's duck was excellent. Deserts f0llowed and were a wonderful finish to a great meal. Chef Pierre came by the table to make sure everything was good. We have discovered a new favorite restaurant and plan on trying out their early bar menu for our soon to be next visit. Highly recommend for special occasion or just a nice dinner out.
wonderful French restaurant, with real French food, skillfully prepared by Chef Pierre. He has years of experience. He made a point of coming to our table and visiting with us on how he prepared the meal. The food was outstanding. The menu was extensive but not over the top. The wine list was classic French wine and very reasonable prices It is simple French cuisine that you can tell has been made by loving hands and with the customer in mind. I highly recommend it.
We can't wait to go back!!! A huge ramekin of pate and fabulous bread is served shortly after being seated. The menu is fairly large and Pierre listed at least another 12 mouthwatering entrees. It was extremely hard to decide what to order. Two of our foursome had the Burgundy Style Escargot and couldn't stop raving about how delicious they tasted. The Veal Piccata, Duck Breast, Beef Bourguignon and Calf Liver were all done to perfection and served with style and class. Thank you Chez Pierre for a wonderful dinning experience.
Excellent service. Great food. Waitstaff gave excellent descriptions of specials. Fish was well prepared and very tasty. One of which we ordered was called skate. I believe it was really ray. But it great. Skipped desert, had espresso. Bill was a little pricy. So be prepared to spend, but worth it.
Excellent service, the sweetbreads were unreal. Loved that the chef made an appearance tableside. Very nice touch. And complimentary pate, you gots to be kidding! The house made chocolate mousse and whipped cream I received for birthday dessert were fantastic, and I loathe both those things usually. Will definitely return.
