The award winning Auberge Saint-Antoine's Chez Muffy restaurant is a family style farm-to-fork dining experience, our guests have come to expect and cherish. We had the menu to share. The food was excellent. Service was a little slow to start but the waiter and somm were friendly. Had very good québécois wine with dinner. The duck foie gras and duck entree were delicious. Ambiance was super cool too. Recommend if you are in Old Quebec!

We spent 4 days in QC over Christmas and Chez Muffy's was our last dinner out. It did not disappoint. The restaurant, located in the Hotel St. Antoine is pure Quebecois - stone walls, beamed ceiling, and comfortable banquettes. The service was impeccable. Starters was a mixed green salad, served with crusty bread and assorted butters, Quebec Game Pie with cranberry chutney, Arctic Char with sweet onion puree, braised cipollini and juniper compote, and a unique version of Pecan Pie - Tarte Tatin with homemade ice cream. Magnifique!

Housed in a stone and timber warehouse and warmed by an open fire, it is a comforting atmosphere for high end “la ferme a la fourchette” foods delivered with lovely execution and complex deliciousness. The servers were ready and pleasant without pestering ubiquity. A good meal and a nice evening. I’d recommend sans question.

This was a spectacular experience and the best meal we had in QC. They noted our anniversary and gave us the perfect spot near the fire. Also gave us a special dessert to mark the occasion, very nice touch. The meals were outstanding; my husband had the duck and I had the halibut. Wine selection is very good; Mark-up is as expected but a bit high at 4x retail. Understand this is common for QC so we knew it going in, they had some fabulous wines so we couldn’t resist! Service was impeccable and a true delight. Best way we could have ended our trip to QC, highly recommend and worth the expense if you want a great dining experience.

La jeune fille qui nous sert ne nous explique pas grand chose.. ( que les huitres sont un extra.. qu’on peut se faire couper des pièces de viande, que derrière le comptoir, on peut avoir des oeufs bénédictines) doit demander une 15 aines de minutes pour que je croise quelqu’un pour un refil de café/jus d’orange. Je suis certain que son ancien prof d’hotellerie et que Mr. Sam hamad ont reçu un meilleur service! Cependant , la bouffe était impecc!

Everything was exceptional. Each course was excellent, but we both enjoyed an Arctic char dish that was to die for! The dining room offers a warm and romantic ambience that is hard to top and our server, Max, was terrific. Thoroughly enjoyable dining experience!

I’ve heard rumors that Chez Muffy was at its peak 2 years ago or so. To me, Chez Muffy is still the finest food, service, and ambiance in all Quebec City, perhaps in all of Quebec province.

We stayed at the hotel and tend to be a little leery of eating at a hotel restaurant - but Chez Muffy squashed all our reservations. They offered exceptional service farm to table gourmet food and the ambiance of the restaurant was just perfect! If you are staying at the hotel or just passing through Quebec City - be sure to put this on your list of restaurants to visit.

What a special place!! The decor is beautiful country French in a rebuilt heritage building. Wonderful service from everyone we met, and the food was amazing. We chose the prefix menu and they allowed us to substitute a course. Each dish was perfectly cooked and presented so creatively. Come to stay two hours and relax and enjoy. We were staying In The hotel and leaving on a cruise the next day. I am so glad we had this classic French meal while in Quebec!
