Chez Max Palace Street, situated in the heart of Dublin City Centre next to Dublin Castle, invites you to experience its charming French ambience, bistrot, and café. Guests can relax on the front terrace, enjoy the Parisian vintage indoor area, or unwind in the heated back patio.

To reserve a group lunch (for parties of 9 or more) or a group dinner (for parties of 7 or more), bookings cannot be made through this platform. Please email us at chezmaxpalace@gmail.com, and we will provide a form to collect the necessary details. Please note that for the convenience of our guests and to ensure a smooth dining experience, we accept a maximum of two payments per reservation. We regret that we are unable to split bills further.

Brilliant classic French dishes and wine. Professional, polite, and friendly service. The restaurant is a bit noisy due to its small space capacity. Thanks to all staff members for their good work.

Good excellent. Had foie gras and prawns to start, both excellent. Stea & beef bourgegnon for 2 mains, both excellent. Shared crème brûlée as dessert, was excellent. Tried 4 white wines, all awful. Settled on the rose which was good. Waitress v nice.

Really lovely slice of France here in D2, excellent food and service in a cosy bustling setting, scored a mark down as we felt a little rushed to order and eat, lingered over wine to bring stay to 90 mins for two courses, will return

We sat outside and it was so much fun. Beautiful evening (but also options for heaters & awning) and the surrounding area had a great atmosphere. The staff were terrific and all the other guests lively and fun. Great place for our family of 5 with older teenagers.

If you want good food with wonderful ambience and friendly but professional service go to Che, Max. I have been going here almost from the first day it opened. Standards have never been dropped. It's just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a wonderful meal.
