A new French bistro nestled in a historic townhouse on the Upper East Side. In the main dining room, Executive Chef Zack Zeidman delivers Parisian classics with Basque flair. Upstairs at Salon de Fifi a l’Étage, master mixologist Yumi Nemoto showcases innovative signature cocktails, served alongside light bites from the kitchen below.

My second time dining at Chez FiFi, and it was just as incredible as the first. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable—Carmen, Jessica, and Ann were all so warm, helpful, and professional. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, especially since my friend had flown in from California and was really looking forward to the experience. The food, the ambiance, the attention to detail—everything was spectacular. I’ll definitely be back.

Come to Chez Fifi if you enjoy fine French dining in NYC fashion. Tables were close together, which added to the experience. The noise level was extremely high due mostly to one particular table needing to learn to use their inside voices, making it difficult to have much serious conversation, but.....and I do mean but, the food was to die for and our server, Jessica, really added so much charm to our dining experience (June 2025). Kudos to the chef. The steak tartare melted in my mouth, and the additional lemon juice in it added a delightful brightness to the dish. The mushroom risotto with shaved spring truffles had all the savory richness that was hoped for. Our main entrees were Filet Mignon perfectly cooked and so very tender, and Snapper that didn't disappoint. Dessert was skipped only because we seriously did not have the room for it. We will be telling all our friends about Chez Fifi, and we will revisit when back it NYC. Food and service as it should be! Thank you, Chez Fifi, for such a delicious experience!

Wonderful food and Dante our waiter was excellent had a great table a booth so comfortable and the sommelier from California gave. Great recommendation .

Dinner at Chez Fifi did not disappoint! I recommend the filet with the frites and the endive salad! For dessert, the goat cheese ice cream was iconic. Thank you for a lovely dinner!!!

Drinks and appetizers were great (clam rice was a standout). Salted red snapper and steak au poivre were very good as well. Dante, our server was excellent - service was great without being overbearing. Ambience was nice. We had a great time
