This is my second time there this year. I love this place. Excellent service and great food. I loved my corn beef hash. Their Bloody Mary is tasty. Highly recommended
I’ve dined here several times and have been very pleased. However our last meal there will be our last. The food is still very good - delicious, creative and great presentation. The waiter did his best as he was busy but this is the type of restaurant where the wait staff shoukd be Uber attentive and that wasn’t our experience. The portion sizes have been reduced somewhat significantly. There were 6 of us and we all ordered entrees and as a table we shared 4 appetizers, 1 soup and 3 salads which were rather warm and unappetizing. Unfortunately, my sons left this restaurant still hungry and actually came home and heated up some leftovers from the frig. It was an expensive meal and I expected more.
We had a lovely appetizer, dinner, and dessert at an outdoor table. We were fortunate to be seated there, b/c a large party was (shall we say) taking up lots of psychic space at an indoor table and got more boisterous with each beverage. Service is always stellar. Try the charred octopus starter!
Excellent lunch menu, great service! Beautiful surroundings!
Awful. Worst dining experience in my whole entire life. Waited forever to be seated, food sucked, only 1 waiter working the entire floor, etc. I’m surprised this place is up and running.
This is my go to spot for brunch, and business lunches! Upscale yet affordable! Wine and Spirit selection are on point and I can’t forget about the staff… A1!
Small portions, limited menu , bar menu items not available in dining area .Very loud bar area , wine glasses were not properly cleaned . Wine by the glass was very good .
Valet service was good.
Hostess was very friendly and helpful .
Bread was not offered.
Overall , the dining/bar food and beverage needs upgrade and some imagination .
I literally said ohh my god every bite , i had the pork on the menu .
Roast beef on week was over cooked and dry. Turkey club was delicious! Ambience was wonderful. Very clean. Loved the decor.
Lovely brunch in a lovely setting. Totally positive experience.
Food was mediocre, view was poor
The food and service is excellent. The dishes we selected were flavorful.
The overall experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The waiter, Z, was attentive but not over-bearing and was always available. The Cheft, Bruce gave me an my fiance an exceptional experience with food you'd mortgage a house for.
Best dinner in memory! Our server, Z, was excellent! The halibut was phenomenal. Cauliflower app was great, as by my husband who does not eat cauliflower.. so enuf said! Thanks for making our Anniversary so wonderful!
Beautiful building and location. Great drinks, food and service. Perfect for a special occasion.
Fairly disappointing overall. We went to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday and had that fact listed on the reservation. She was super excited to go and order the Sangria for the table. When we got there and she ordered it, we were told it was no longer available. I thought the waitress meant they sold out for the day but no, she said they just don't do that option anymore and told us we could get mimosas or something instead. I think that was odd since not only was it on their online menu, but it was also listed on the menu in the restaurant. There was never any acknowledgement of my daughter's birthday, even when I made a comment about it to the waitress. Overall the food was ok but definitely not worth the hype.
FYI-we tried to reach out to the manager via email to let him know about the error on the menu just as a courtesy for them to change it. We never heard anything back in acknowledgement of receipt of the email. Poor service, poor management...not somewhere I care to return to.
Seafood pasta was terribly dry. Sat next to two guys in cut-off Jean shorts and sweatshirts. Shouldn’t there be some sort of dress code? Sad to see that on a Friday night, the place wasn’t busier. Buffalo is a struggle
Very limited menu. Food was good but way overpriced. Service was debatable. Drink prices way too high. Wine was priced okay and good options. Only a few dessert options but what we had was good.
Best duck that I ever had! My Babe had the scallops and was equally impressed! We were celebrating her birthday and it couldn't have been better. The waiter was prompt and courteous and the atmosphere was relaxing. I highly recommend the CHEZ AMI!
Great brunch as usual! Thank you
The parties at our table were in disagreement about the quality of the food. I loved my order of roasted carrots ( truly delicious) and smoked duck breast. Others thought there was a minuscule amount of crab in the crab salad, and that the soup of the day was just “ okay.” We we’re not presented with a wine list. When I enquirer about a sparkling wine, rather than being offered a list, I was told the only choice available was a sweet reisling. The Napoleon and sweet corn ice cream were excellent dessert choices. On a final note, for an “ upscale” restaurant, why were inappropriately dressed customers seated? A man in a sleeveless , dirty white undershirt and dirty pants, who had only a casual acquaintance with soap was seated behind us. He did not add to the ambience of the restaurant.
The food quality is is exceptional since Bruce has taken over the kitchen. The service and ambiance matched the food.
Excellent steak! Great service. Beautiful ambience. Our waiter “Z” was one of the best waiters we have ever had. Loved the experience and can’t wait to come back.
It was very nice food was delicious staff was very nice will visit again
This is one of my go-to spots for Brunch and business meetings! It never disappoints, and if there are issues, William and staff are quick to make sure its corrected and you are taken care of!
My family took me there. Nice place and location. I had a corn beef hash and egg. It was very tasty. Their breadbasket is a must try. Service was very nice and people go above and beyond to keep you satisfied with your dine in experience.
Everything went well. The restaurant hostess and servers were professional and provided very good service. The good was well prepared abs nicely presented.
Chef Bruce and his culinary team are firing on 8 cylinders with this one. He has an excellent skill set with vegetable dishes, you can build a gourmet experience around dishes like the roasted carrots and the cauliflower.
Sunday Brunch!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
We had a delicious brunch to include shrimp and grits, homemade bagel with great lox and whipped cream cheese and French toast with a custard like center. The service was excellent without being overly solicitous. The interior and ambiance was lovely, though the music was initially too loud. They graciously turned down the volume. We plan to return.
Fabulous brunch out on the terrace. The pastry basket is a must-have to share with the table. Drinks were outstanding as well.
Five star ambiance, food and service 3-4 stars. Very limited menu.
Ordered drinks and didn’t get them until 20 minutes later... people sat down way after us got theirs immediately
The service was excellent food wasn’t worth the price and the new menu was terrible i would not return here again
Restaurant food and ambience were fine. Waiter was a bit quirky, actually a bit odd.
Our server, Zakk was fantastic! 10/10 service and he made sure we were happy with everything. He did a great job!
Had the 22oz ribeye & the pasta special for the night. My friend doesn’t eat pork & was able to add shrimp & lobster to the pasta for hardly no upcharge. The food was delicious, the cocktails were good too. Our waiter was very attentive & friendly.
Very nice and very clean. I was expecting the seating to be a little more private and intimate. The chairs and bench seat the cushions were wore out not very comfortable. Waiter and service was second to none very efficient and spot on all throughout our meal
Went for anniversary dinner as part of staycation package at Curtiss Hotel…food was very good…smoked duck was amazing and definitely one of the top meals I have ever had.
