Chevys Fresh Mex - Roseville
Michelle was great, she was doing it all as there was not a greeter in site.
Per order of Gov(?) masks are required indoors. I believe that servers should wear their masks correctly. ESP as the virus is spreading so rapidly right now. Masks are not chin guards! Your restaurant is not in a mask optional location. If you don’t want to have confrontation with diners, I can understand. However, servers, workers, those handling the food, silverware, etc they need to obey the rules or find another line of work. I know it’s hard to find workers right now, but hey, this puts everyone at risk.
Phoebe was great, alway checking to see if we were ok
Awesome customer service
The staff at this location was above and beyond - completely awesome! They were unexpectedly slammed with customers due to other area restaurants being closed an extra day after the New Year’s holiday, and the staff was literally running to keep up with surprise demand. Everyone was so friendly, thoughtful and accommodating. Despite the huge rush, our food came out quickly, and was hot and delicious! We were attended to constantly. The night could have easily been a disaster, but the staff wouldn’t let that happen. Great experience!
Ricardo was great,
Excellent customer service
Awesome top shelf margaritas
Good food a little noisy from employees celebrating early
Our server was great!
The wait was long even though we had reservations. Our server was amazing and the food was good. Cocktails not so good watered down. Don’t think there was enough staff but all restaurants have a shortage of staff.
Dinner was very good and the service was excellent. It was really busy but we got our table right away because we had a reservation.
Our server was wonderful, especially since it was Christmas.
Ashley and Michelle are terrific.
Great waitress Michelle.
Food was good. Restaurant was not very full but they put all the tables in the same section, leaving the other half empty. Wish they would have spread filled tables out. I understand they may not have the staff to fill all tables, but better to space groups out when you have the room to do so. Also, the room was very cold.
Great as always!!!
To start it off, the waitress took us to a dirty table which wasn’t an issue because she quickly realized her mistake. We sat down and got our food very quickly but after we got our food we realized that our server forgot to give us silverware. We waited for almost five minutes for a server to come to our table as we began to eat with our hands but no one even looked our way. I then decided to walk over to the front counter and ask for silverware. Then, after we completed our meal (which was delicious by the way) we waited almost 15 minutes until our waitress finally brought us our check. It wasn’t very busy so I’m not sure what exactly the staff was doing at this time but we were a bit fed up at this point. Lastly, rather than processing the payment via a receipt, the waitress gave us a mini e-payment device (in which I inserted my card) and the minimum tip option was 18%! As she stood there staring at me I felt pressured not to click the “Other” option and manually type in my lower tip. I decided to give her the 18% to avoid to awkwardness as she stared at me during the transaction (she deserved 10% at most due to her poor service). Please chevys, if you’re going to force me to pay via this new e-payment method, you need to at least have your waitresses walk away so I can give an honest tip. Pressuring the customer into paying a high percentage tip is an evil business model. I left the restaurant feeling very uncomfortable after this incident.
we were seated 24 minutes before we saw the server. Then it took another 26 minutes to get our drinks, which came just as our food was being serviced. The worst service i have experienced since the last time (30 days ago) i was at the same restaurant. They have a management problem.
My waitress was so attentive didnt catch her name tho :( hostess was a sweetie. We even got our togo boxes ran out to us after we accidentally left them on our table. So sweet.
If you want good Mexican Food if your thinking this Establishment save your money and go to Taco Bell, I have enjoyed the offerings in the past but what happened ? the Tamale was hard as a rock and inedible, told the server and he laughed it off The Enchiladas were the size of street taco tortillas no cheese and absolutely NO favor, you had to constantly ask for the essentials, drink refills, napkins and chip and salsa refills btw that was the only thing that has not changed LOL the Chips and Salsa was still good but the basket is so small it's comical again don't waste your time and Money
Always enjoy Chevys they have a new server that came over from On the Border he recognized us it was great to catch up we visit Chevys every week now it’s even better I’ll have to get Jose’s work schedule.
Checy’s is our to ho Mexican Restaurant food could have been hotter last night, but due to the storm I’m sure they were a little short staff!
Usually we have mo complaints! Really pleased they have
Refurbished everything!! So much brighter and cleaner!
Our service was excellent. She was in top of everything.
Service here is like pulling teeth. They’ve recently updated their menu and it’s an improvement. If they had 50% more staff, it would be well managed and worth going frequently.
The servers are nice but the quality of food is poor
I could not get happy hour prices in restaurant, I had to go to the bar.
Great place to eat Coco was our waiter, she did a exceptional job
also Jovan the bartender made awesome margaritas.
Overall great customer service
Alejandro was great good customer service he’s a bartender he’s a waiter all in one great job
Alejandro was our waiter he recognize me because I usually go there every week take care of me on my what do you my drinks and ordering my food it’s always a great deal going to Chevys the food and customer service
I've patronized Chevy's during the past year quit a bit to help it remain in business. Yesterday, when the hostess was about to seat us, a single patron who already was seated came up in front of us and requested the booth by the window that we asked for. She gave this booth to the patron (last booth in the cantina). We wanted to sit in the cantina to enjoy the happy hour menu. This man was already seated so his request should have been handled after ours. I was so disgusted that we left and gave our business to another restaurant down the street. I will never darken Chevy's door again. Totally unacceptable.
Food was great. Very busy. Service was a a bit slow but understandable. They did check up if we needed things. Very nice staff.
They were so friendly and accommodating our request. I would love to come in again.
The seats are all torn up. They ran out of hamburger and no mustard.
Jose was great awesome customer service
I was asking if we were OK with food and drinks
Food was good, not great ?, didn’t get refill on chips, my flaming plater was not flaming, Atmosphere wasn’t nice as old days ,, place needs a remolding,. It was my b day , ,, service was fine ..
We had a reservation, so we were seated upon arrival. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was good but there were a couple glitches. The person who ordered refried beans with her meal was given the la charra beans. When we told the server, she brought out a large serving of refried beans. I ordered a frozen house margarita but was brought one on the rocks. Since it took awhile for the drink to come out, I went ahead and drank it instead of waiting longer for a correct one.
Phobe was great
Awesome customer service
She’s our favorite waitress!!
Food was good - but service slow.
Our tables were not ready on a Wednesday, as they said they are short of servers, had a no show worker, and we were 10 minutes early (I hate to imagine what it would be like on a Friday or Saturday evening). So we went to the bar area, and the hostess rushed right over to make sure we were buying drinks and just not sitting there waiting for our tables. I guess she wanted us to wait outside in the sun if we were not buying drinks. When are tables still were not ready 20 minutes later, our group of nine decided we would just have happy hour hors d’oeuvres and have their reduced drinks in the bar. We had all intended to order dinners and have a few pitchers of margaritas in their dining room, to celebrate an event. The Chevys in Roseville use to be a nice place to eat dinner — we will look elsewhere from now on!
was quite good. Much better than in the past. Great service, reservation on time, food was good as well. Only thing we noticed a while back that they changed to enchilada sauce on not so good anymore. Fajitas are always great.
It took a long, long, long, long time for our food to finally come out...I think at least 45 minutes, or a little more, from the time we placed our order. Our waiter almost seemed happy about it because everytime he strolled past our table, he told us it should be out soon, smiling but kept moving so we couldn't ask any questions. The meal was okay, but very expensive for 4 people, and only one person ordered a top shelf Margarita. The total came to about $95.00! Add a tip on there for $20 more and it gets even more expensive. Probably won't be back for another 5 years.
