Atmosphere and food were good as usual. Service could have been a little better - like a lot of restaurants I think that they’re short staffed.
We really enjoyed the magaritas was really good and amazing servers very polite and friendly
MAYBE THEY HAVE A NEW STAFF, BUT THEY WERE OFF. SEATING, FOOD, CHECKING ON US; THE STAFF WERE HAVING ISSUES.
It was one of the worst Chevys I or my family has been to, service was horrible food took forever we were the first group there, then everyone got food before us and they were rude out of stuff would never go back
The restaurant was dirty with staff driving a bunch of dirty dishes around bussing tables. The table was sticky which didn’t make me feel good about the cleanliness of the restaurant. The margarita I ordered was sugary and seemed to be devoid of alcohol. The nachos were mediocre and tasteless and skimpy on cheese.
The waiter was very nice and attentive, the one good thing about the restaurant.
Food was cool
Food was delivered to the table cold. Wait staff was very inattentive.
Great services! I went for brunch and there is a great variety offered.Food was very tasty.
Really nice view and ample parking! Service staff is super attentive! Best experience!
The kitchen was closed and we weren’t notified of this when we got there
The sizzling fajita salad was not sizzling like it was pre pandemic.
For my birthday party of 8 we had a blast the A.C tables follow the 6 foot social distancing the bar close to where we were seated I give it a 10 star instead of a 5!
Made my reservation with Open Table for 1:15, arrived and we were seated in the bar area per our request. From there it went left the place was busy and it look as if the restaurant was understaffed, as well as employees (ladies) chatting each other up. We ordered drinks along with several items from the Happy Hour menu. Our drinks arrived timely the food didn’t, when the food did arrive it wasn’t the complete order. We were done with the drinks the-order incomplete food arrived lukewarm. We weren’t given plates, couldn’t find the waitress. I went to the bar myself ask for 3 plates and extra napkins. When the waitress did appear with the rest of the food order, we ordered another round of drinks with one shot on the side. After sometime the waitress returned with the drinks and Two shots. At some point in our dining another waitress comes over and says she’s servicing our table because our waitress is on a break. She wasn’t any better in terms of asking if we needed anything else. I don’t usually use the restroom before leaving the restaurant it was disgusting 🤮 the was paper all over the floor several of the toilet weren’t flushing and there was a rancid smell. Immediate nausea from the stench. It was an all out unpleasant experience
Made a reservation for five people and was put at a table that barely fit four of us and the staff was very reluctant to move us anywhere. Also wanted to come here for the view of the water and we were put in a corner facing a dining room with no windows close by. Other than that we were seated promptly and our server was very friendly and all-around excellent. The food and drinks were good. Definitely seems better suited for couples or smaller groups of no more than three.
Unfortunately it was again bad. We arrived @ 1:40 didn’t get our food till almost three way after other who had arrived after us. Only got 20% discount on al this.. Not the first time for mother’s day we waited over an hour for our food as well. Wish we had better service.
This Chevy's is worth it for the chips & salsa and view alone. Fajitas are good, even better when you get them at lunch prices. Otherwise the entire menu is way overpriced for what you get. The guacamole was terrible at any price, let alone $13. Could not taste any spice, salt, or lime and fill of diced tomatoes.
It took us a while to get our food, one drink was forgotten and our alcoholic beverage was spilled a bit.
I made the reservation, so I didn’t have to wait, but when I got to the place I was told to still wait 10 minutes, I said it’s ok.
However after those 10 minutes I wasn’t called, I still had to wait.
Overall I waited like 25 minutes.
Our waiter Nick was wonderful ! I have many food allergies and he accommodated all of them! Not easy to do. Included making a drink that'd no citrus! and corn instead of flour tortilla. He was lovely!
The floors needed sweeping and the table was a bit sticky - other than that, it was a nice dinner.
Decent place for large family gatherings when you care more about “getting more for less money” than overall food quality. Parking is all compact and hard to come by.
Slow service but great food!
Everything was great. I do wish they would have recognized the graduation for my daughter as I stated in the comments though.
Brunch with the family. Was great.
Great food and service.
Had a blast yesterday the food was great the drinks were amazing but the waiter Freddy was the best part loved his costumer service and he made sure that our orders were how we asked for it I totally recommend this place and Freddy his service are the best
No outdoor seating we left.
We had a reservation at 7:45 pmwe got seated very quickly but it was a long wait for everything our appetizers took some time and we did not get our actual meals until after 9:20 after we ordered 20 minutes within being seated. Everybody around us including bigger parties got there Food before us so that was frustrating. So we got everything togo the manager did take the food off the bill but that was after some negotiating about the service we got.
Lot of the items on the menu weren't available. Food took a long time to come to the table. Server was very friendly and responsive but overall experience was terrible
The whole staff was busy as hell but still provided the best service I’ve had in a long time. The lead manager at the time and our family talked for about an hour. Our waiter was possibly the best waiter in the SF Bay Area, he also works at Black Bear diner down the street in Emeryville. The best Mother’s Day service ever, I had to show love to this location. Thank you, we will be back!
We had reservation, many people waiting on parking made other’s late to their reservations.
It’s a chain so you know what you’re gonna get food wise. That being said, it was Mother’s Day and you could tell the place had been pumping since brunch- the floors were greasy, there were broken chips and beans under our table, etc, the one wheelchair accessible bathroom stall was out of order in the women’s room with no signage or indication of an alternative. The table we were at was also not great- seated at the window where the sun was beating down despite the shade drawn and the bay view was further obscured by the plastic sheeting outside covered in bird droppings. Felt like being under a magnifying glass- outside seating was probably the way to go. The kids’ tater tots were cold so we asked for a new hot batch but it took so long by the time they came out we were done eating. The server was friendly and gracious but not one time did anyone come by for water refills. Also when we arrived we were a few minutes late for our reservation and there was a giant line to check in with one hostess. We waited about ten minutes and had several parties cut the front of the line before we got to the hostess who then informed us we were late and almost lost our spot despite waiting patiently. Overall the restaurant seemed overwhelmed with the high traffic day. Would I go back mid week for an outdoor table and a margarita? Maybe.
They had a DJ with huge speakers outside. Thank goodness we were inside where the blasting sound was muffled. Service was super slow and inattentive. Food was fine. There was very little accommodation for my celiac daughter and gluten free food even though we had checked the website for gf before we left. She couldn’t eat the chips or ground beef which are both her favorites. My food was dry, but the margaritas were only $6, which was nice. Floors and bathroom were filthy. Table wasn’t too clean either. We won’t be back.
Great food and awesome service also is a DJ with great music

We had a fajita combo plate and drinks. Drinks pretty good but the steak was flavorless and have the consistency of rubber. The dining area had a filthy floor with many food spills and the service was laughably neglectful. For example our fajita plate arrived sizzling away and after THREE requests the accompanying tortillas arrived 15 minutes later and by then the meat was cold. Avoid this terribly managed restaurant!
We felt safe in the open area inside the restaurant. Originally we were planning on outdoor dining. The waiter (I wish I remembered his name) was excellent-attentive and very quick with meeting our requests. We will go back when we are in the area again.
I would really like to give the whole staff the benefit of the doubt here because of COVID but there could have been better communication in the team. We made a reservation for two, we were asked our name and said it would be a moment. The hostess could not find any servers to help us and the two hostesses seemed to be visibly overwhelmed. We waited next to a family with 3 kids who had been waiting longer than us. After both hostesses left the front desk we waited outside for them to return as some people that were waiting inside were not wearing masks. After waiting another 20min to be called. We went back to the desk to ask if we could be seated, they didn’t remember us and had to take my name down again only to tell us that they were only seating reservations on 1 1/2 of the restaurant. They offered us a huge booth that the family next to us had been waiting for, for at least 30min. We rejected and asked to sit at a smaller table. Once there we had to flag down a waiter that was also visibly overwhelmed while across the restaurant, what looked like the manager and an employee were having a heated argument in the window outside while the employee smoked a cigarette with her gloves on. Although this was entertaining to watch from afar, they were far to short staffed to have this also happening for a good 15min. Once we had our waiters attention the food was fine and the drinks made it in a timely manner. I don’t think I’ll be going back soon. Maybe after they get back on their feet again.
