Chesapeake’s West derives much of its authentic Eastern Shore qualities from décor that features genuine nautical antiques and artifacts. Pairing this cozy, seaside ambiance with welcoming service and fresh ingredients has made it the perfect spot for creating memorable moments.

As part of the Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants, we offer fresh seafood that’s sourced daily, local, handcrafted microbrews, an extensive wine list and prime-graded beef. We are known for live Maine lobster, Maryland Crab cakes, a variety of fresh fish, and assorted oyster selection.

Visited for my wife’s Birthday dinner. Service was very good. However she did not check back with us after we received our meals. I had the red snapper which was very good . My wife had the grill shrimp skewers and they were tough and overcooked. My wife could not eat them. The shrimp was taken off the bill but the manager never showed their face to discuss. Very disappointing. You would think a restaurant known for seafood could prepare shrimp properly.

The food was really good, but it was not hot when it came out. Had the Filet and Lobster. Both were room temperature. Hot food is a requirement. The server cannot let the food sit on the shelf.

Knoxville's go-to place for seafood, Chesapeake's never fails to deliver, whether out West or Downtown. Great food, great service, great ambiance. A little pricey, but worth it.

Wait staff, Clay, did an excellent job. We had a group member who had limited mobility but everyone when out of their way to be helpful. As always the food was excellent!

Our service was good but this was our second visit in a row where our fish was very undercooked and cold. Likely won’t be another visit until the kitchen improves.
