Overall a great lunch dining experience. I had their broiled seafood platter for the first time. I would get it again if in the mood for seafood.

Large plates, small tables, all our food was presented all at once: 2 Salads, Calamari app, fresh crab plate, and crab cake sandwich. All the plates wouldn't fit on the table, so we sent the salads back to the kitchen. Everyone was friendly.

Stacy was our waitress and did a fantastic job of looking after us. My wife had the scallops, and I had the grilled chicken. Both are delicious! We had the calamari as an appetizer, and it was excellent as well. We really enjoy this Chesapeak's, although depending on the time parking can be an issue. Only complaint I have is the suggested tip is based on the total including tax. Why should anyone tip on a tax?

This is a Knoxville classic. If you are looking for good seafood this is a pretty good spot. The atmosphere is a bit dated, but it’s still nice. Food was great and service was perfect.

Our service was impeccable as always. Irena is a wonderful server and always goes above and beyond. However, the food this time was less than desirable. I got the shrimp Chesapeake and there was an awful ammonia smell. When I googled it afterwards, it means that the crab is decomposing. On top of that it was overcooked and dry. Very disappointing for a place we usually really enjoy.

Met some new friends for dinner here per their recommendation. The food was delicious and fresh and the setting for our conversation was ideal (not too loud but also not so quiet one felt a need to whisper). When considering place to dine downtown, we can't overlook this place.
