Lovely location but very disappointing food. Fish overcooked, seared lettuce didn't work and even the chips were a bit flabby. Service was good but slightly intrusive. We would not return.

Another lovely meal at the Cherwell boathouse. Great food, great service and fantastic atmosphere. We had a lovely evening and the setting is wonderful.

Nice anniversary meal celebration. The team were very accommodating and were very helpful with the cake. Special thanks to the manager (sorry I didn’t catch the name) and the lady for excellent service and to Grant for taking a lovely photograph. Food was nice a Sunday roast and portion size was perfect.

We had a lovely table on the terrace. Staff were very friendly and polite. Food was great. Old friends meeting up. We all enjoyed the food. Excellent Sunday roast.

Remains one of the best restaurants around Oxford. Fantastic food and wine, friendliest staff and fun, themed nights.

Had a lovely evening dining here for the first time. From the moment you enter you know you are going to be treated well, and that your custom is valued. The menu choices whilst not extensive were good and encompassed a plentiful range of foods. Every dish we chose (3 courses each), was delicious and well presented. Service was excellent, but not annoying and we didn't feel rushed at all. Cheapest place in Oxford? Certainly not, but good quality food and drink in a lovely setting with great service 👌
