Giving this a 3.5. Perhaps our expectations were too high, but this was not the dinner we had expected. Steaks were not cooked to specifications and food was good otherwise, but not the high quality we had been expecting. Our salad was never brought out, tho they did take it off the bill. The best part was the neva potatoes. Those were really good. Everything else was just good.

We love eating Cherokee grill restaurant. My wife and I had our first Date 15 Year's ago . We ate June 21 ,2025 at 4 o'clock. It hasn't changed just better

We made reservations and seated promptly. Our waitress Madison was excellent, very friendly and attentive. Our meals were delicious, we ordered trout, 28 oz rib eye (we shared this) and NY strip streak. Order mushrooms, Mac and cheese, and bake potatoes as our sides. The bread also was delicious We would return when we got back to Gaitlenburg!!!!!

Cherokee grill was one of our favorites when we visited last year. We made rsvp for Father’s Day. This year, everything was awful from start to finish. The food was bad and cold, service was unbearably slow to non existent. We will never go back.

Great restaurant overall— a pleasant surprise for this lighthearted town. Interesting menu— the kind where you want to come back to try everything. We had steaks, salads, and side dishes— all were excellent. Wine list had a special section of $10-11 selections for those who'd like a glass but don't need to go nuts. Didn't try the desserts; we were too full. Service was delightfully neighborly. Great ambience— this is one of those places where you spend a lot of time looking around at the interior. Prices fairly reflected the quality of the food and experience.

We had a wonderful experience at Cherokee Grill. We were seated immediately and with a smile. Jess our server was friendly and very helpful. She paid attention to our needs and answered all our questions. The food was very, very good. It was our anniversary and they gave us a delicious dessert to help celebrate. Definitely a restaurant we will go visit again.

Great service and quite enough to talk with those having dinner with you. Crab cake entree very good. Rib eye a bit tough and not very much flavor.
