This meal was amazing. The Kobe strip melted in my mouth and had a great flavor. The filet was delicious. Ceviche was fresh and tasty. Murder point oysters were the perfect size and had a great flavor. I am spoiled now. Top 5 meals of my time. Service was spot on. Great view of the river.

Fantastic experience. Love how spaced apart the tables were— hope they stay that way! Rebecca our server was incredibly knowledgeable, warm and hospitable. The food was outstanding— especially the simple salad and the baked feta. We can’t wait to get there again soon

The service was impeccable and the food even better. I wish the bread basket had more variety. I have 4 pieces of the olive bread and I don't like olive and 2 pieces of what I believe was a sourdough which was very good. Can't go wrong with the salmon, gumbo, cauliflower au gratin

I've been to this place 3 times now and each time was a great experience. Each dish was expertly prepared and very delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. It's a little pricy but it's worth the experience in my opinion. Cheers!

Monday night was not busy so we were seated on arrival. Jennifer was attentive and friendly as were the rest of the staff. Food was a very fresh salad and okra and seafood gumbo. Shrimp and duck were very good especially the tasty shrimp.

The food was amazing and the atmosphere is very romantic. If you are on a date ask for a table in the window facing the river. The decor is modern and beautiful. Our waitress Mignon was very knowledgeable and can describe everything on the menu to a T! She is amazing too!

NOT impressed. Chef Donald Link has many GREAT restaurants. Why is this one not up to par with the rest? It should be the best of all of them but it fails.

The wine is VERY expensive, as much as 30% higher than other top restaurants in town. Loved the food and service, both were amazing.

We had a great time eating at this restaurant conveniently located inside the Four Seasons. The waiter was very friendly and personable. The crab appetizer was delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly. I would also recommend the crème brûlée for dessert.

I would classify this restaurant as uneven. Service was excellent. Oysters were cold and briny as expected, crab salad was very underwhelming. Duck confit was good, but accompanying white bean pistou was overly salted. Ribeye was excellent. Pomme purée was very good, carrots were unevenly good (larger ones were hard), malted chocolate mousse bomb and apple galette were good. Vibe of restaurant is all over the place. Their music playlist was pretty terrible.

Our server, Pamela, was FANTASTIC!! She was very knowledgeable and offered great advice when suggesting wine pairing with our choice of food. She hit the nail on the head! This was my second time visiting this month, and I’ll definitely be back in a few weeks. I ordered the king salmon, crab au gratin, gumbo, my cocktail was the Fin; and would highly recommend everything that I ordered. I’d give the service, environment, and food all 5 stars!

First off, the view from Chemin a la Mer is one of the best in the city, hands down. The restaurant is beautiful. Our table tried a lot of items at lunch - Peel and Eat Shrimp, West Indies Crab Salad, Crabmeat au Gratin, Baked Feta, Beef Tartare, Grit Cakes, and Salmon. It was quite disappointing that there were no oysters when we visited when the logo literally has “oyster bar” in it and the first item on the menu is oysters, but… I’d go back. To me, the crab salad, tartare, and salmon were the standouts. Maybe not as good or creative as other Link restaurants, but they also don’t have this view or anything like it. It’s worth a try!

For a new restaurant working out the kinks it was good and the manager was very gracious. I would go back again. There were several good vegetarian options - the baked feta is a do not miss item. Beautiful restaurant with amazing view of the river.

Starting with the positives: lovely room. View of the water was great, service attentive but slow from the bar. MeL went downhill from there. Kid’s meal burger and chicken tenders were good ($12) but we asked to sub pomme purée for fries, got fries when the meal came out, but our server corrected. Open table menu is misleading. Steaks are a la carte and don’t include any sides. Ordered the filet which was cooked to order ( but again a la carte). The heirloom carrot side was delicious. Also ordered the lamb. Sub par: 2 very small lamb lollipops, heavily garlicky and well done when ordered med-rare for $48. Served with broccoli (very good and sadly the star of my plate) and under seasoned chick pea fritters So dissatisfied and left hungry. Also paid $6 for coke and lemonade for kids for each refill…seriously!!! Not up to the Link name or reputation and will not return.

Oddly, the window tables only seat 2. Floorplan needs to be re arranged to angle larger tables at the window and place 2 tops in center of restaurant. Ambiance and Food just average. Really feels like a place to just have breakfast in ambiance. Given so many great restaurants in the city, will likely not go back for dinner. Disappointed in the pricey place.
