   The food and atmosphere at Chele’s are absolutely incredible. My salmon was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, and the crowd struck the perfect balance of chic and down-to-earth. I highly recommend this gem to anyone living in or visiting New York City!

   Michele (Chele’s) has opened a real gem in DT Harlem! We started with the fried zucchini chips and special yummy sauce, then the crab bisque soup w/ crab cakes, BEST beet salad ever had, then roasted chicken with buttery rice and beans! And, super accommodating on GF options! Bravo! Can’t wait to try brunch!

   On my first visit at any restaurant, I always order a burger, (if they can’t make a proper simple hamburger patty nothing else on the menu matters) I ordered the sirloin burger, prepared to my taste (medium) Superb!!! all the ingredients tasted superbly fresh, and farm to table high quality ingredients are used. ( “my high discerning palate says so”). The Presentation was lovely the waitstaff very attentive and accommodating to our requests and needs the ambiance is very unassuming yet elegant with its mid century modern decor. The drinks were spot on and they have an Apple Tart a’ la mode dessert, which is to die for. I absolutely love it his place!!! , and plan or returning real soon. Highly recommended.

   The food was not terrible but not great. The coconut shrimp tasted like the frozen kind you get in the grocery store. I didn’t really get the Asian Caribbean fusion vibe. The place is beautiful and the service was good. But the food was meh.

   We enjoyed our delicious and calming brunch at Chele's during a Harlem tour. The pancakes came with fresh berries, and they have a variety of coffee options. Our waitress was attentive and kind.

   We had an amazing experience at Cheles! We ate on a Monday night and our food was delicious and the staff was so kind! We were a little caught off guard by the Monday night DJ, whose tracks were great but did make it hard to have a conversation by the end of the night! We would definitely go back though!

   We ate here for dinner one night and breakfast the next morning. Both meals were fantastic. One of the tenderest pork chops I’ve had in a long time. The breakfast was great. We had the biscuit, sausage, and egg sandwich. The home made biscuit was really good. They had blueberry jam that we put on the biscuits. We also got to talk to the owner at breakfast. She was friendly and kind. She asked us for our opinions regarding the food and we gave her our feedback. Never had that opportunity before and it was fun. The meals were a good value with large portions. If you stay at the Aloft Hotel in Harlem, I highly recommend the place. It is less than a block from the hotel to the restaurant.
