In historic Winter Garden, just a few miles from Orlando’s theme parks, an intimate gourmet dining experience awaits you. Local residents rave about it and foodies come from all over the world to sample the superb cuisine and intimate service of The Chef's Table at the Edgewater. Our 3 Course Pre Fixe Dinner is priced at $58.90 per person, and generally consists of 4 choices per course.

We go every year to celebrate a special occasion. The chefs table never disappoints ... food is always fantastic and the service is amazing. It is always a wonderful experience!!!

Not quite sure what the buzz is about this place. Good food but no where worth the price. It’s an old run down busking that lost ambience to age. No real presentation.

We had a great time at the Chef's table. Service was first class. Wine pairings very creative. Food was excellent and the chef accommodated dietary restrictions. A little far a field, but worth the drive. Special occasions and foody's will appreciate.

My prior experience with Winter Garden was the Crooked Can. A fun daytime venue. I was looking for a pre-Orlando Ballet Performance dinner and a fun evening out with my culinary trained daughter. The experience at The Chef’s Table at the Edgewater couldn’t have been a better start to our evening. I now have a much different opinion of this lively town, that includes great food and a vibrant night life.

Celebrated our anniversary with another fabulous dining experience from the Chef Table at Edgewater. Every aspect of the meal was excellent - appetizers, entre, desert, service, wine, cocktails. The Pecan Pie cocktail, which I had overlooked on other visits, is so good I may never pass Winter Garden without a Pit stop for one (and a driver change since it is so generous). We will be back every chance we get. In my opinion, this restaurant makes dining an occasion.

Always great.
Menu changes with the seasons. Servers are professional and know the offerings. Good wine list with excellent food. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

An amazing place. The food was outstanding and the wait staff was great. The waiter explained the selections in great detail and was extremely knowledgeable. Same comment about his knowledge of the wine. The pacing of the meal was perfect.

This is not the place to get a quick bite to eat of okay food. This is a special place where the food is to be savored and the atmosphere to be enjoyed.

We enjoyed a date night here. The food was great but we were not as blown away by it as I had expected to be after reading the reviews. The wine pairings were worth the extra cost. Server was great, accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. Only complaint is the noise level. We had a lot of trouble hearing each other over the larger parties sat around us.

Food was phenomenal. Service was attentive but not overbearing. I didn't get any attitude because I wasn't drinking with dinner. We got buckeyes at the end that reminded my husband of his grandmother. Best meal start to finish in quite a while!

Top notch experience in every way, without a doubt one of the finer establishments I've ever had the joy to dine in. The food was superb. Quality ingredients very well prepared, creative but not over the top. It'a in a well maintained older building with a nice ambiance, and the wait staff could not have possibly been more attentive or helpful. This was easily one of the best meals of my life. It's gonna put a dent in your wallet for sure, but it is well worth it.

Went here in a whim. We were at a local winery and a couple we were talking to suggested us to go here.
It was easy to book on open table, they were accommodating as we were alittle late.
Drinks were good. Food was amazing minus the chocolate creme brulee, it was too rich.
Our server Taran, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, friendly.
Definitely would go here again when I come back.

My wife and I visited the Chef's Table to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. We thought the food was excellent, but the feeling a bit stuffy.

There was one very strange thing, which was the emphasis they appear to put on the value of each bread roll that they distribute. Asking for bread appeared to summon a host of hubbub in the kitchen until the bread-boy (yes, he is the bread-boy), came out with his thanksgiving-esque tongs and places one avocado-sized piece of bread upon our plates. Upon further investigation, he never had more bread in his bucket than what he had planned to give out.

It led my wife and I to wonder the origins of such a bread. Was it sprouted at the table of the last supper? Perhaps it was the last meal of Archduke Ferdinand? Did Abraham Lincoln watch these rolls rise as he considered national emancipation? One can only speculate. The food was very rich and delicious, and maybe we're just simple people, but bread is kind of something you don't go cheap on when you spend $200.

I may return, although, I shall bring my own bread in such a case as that.

The food was fabulous. Choice of 4 entrees, apps and desserts, menu changes. Service was great and all our food choices were outstanding. My husband raved about the filet and how it was prepared this week. The fig mule was a great cocktail to start off the evening. The grouper was delicious and so was the beet risotto it came with. Highly recommended! The only downside was that the dining rooms are small and it is extremely easy to hear others conversations, even if you are not trying to.

Wonderful experience, from the walk back to the Chef’s Table section, to the view of the kitchen, superb service (Jeff is awesome), the wonderful food and excellent wine pairings. Can not be overstated what a wonderful time the four of us had.

A great dining experience from start to finish. Very intimate, very romantic, and very delicious. Highly recommended to celebrate a special occasion and less recommended for everyday dining as you will leave gloriously full and will likely not be able to do anything for the rest of the night.

I really don't know how to review the Chef's Table. It is our favorite place in the Orlando area to go out for supper, period. And we have high standards for where we go out to eat. But our preferences say nothing to anybody else. Is it Haute Cuisine? Not really. Will you get a postage stamp sized thing that supposedly tastes like pizza balanced on the head of a pin for one of your courses? No. Will you get a millisecond of attitude from any of the staff? No. Hell No. You'll get good portions of the highest quality perfectly prepared profoundly flavorful imaginative food. The wine paring (if you select it) includes wines you may not have had before: furmint, monastrell, German reisling, or albarino, etc. The desserts are substantial and sweet ( help me understand why desserts should not be sweet) and there is always a selection of sorbets. The service is exceptional, no other word. You get to choose from four first courses, four entrees, and four desserts. If you absolutely must order off menu then please go someplace else. The seating is fairly intimate and you will be subjecting the rest of us to your blather. Like I said, I don't know how to review the Chef's Table. We all have wonderful memories of certain dishes that our mothers or grandmothers made for us. I think the Chef's Table is like your grandmother would have cooked if she had gone to culinary school.

Excellent for a birthday or any special occasion !! It was my boyfriend’ first time, he’s a chef, and we loved everything. You can really tell the love that goes into each dish. Our service was amazing and the wine paring was perfect!!

This was our first time dining here and a 45 minute drive. Well worth the trip to discover such a hidden gem. The waiter was very attentive (we have his name for next time). The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. The mushroom tart appetizer was a bit pungent for some, but I loved the earthy flavors. My rack of lamb was perfectly prepared and, unlike a lot of restaurants, a very hearty portion.
Unfortunately there was a loud table next to us. When they left, the dining experience was PERFECT. We can't wait to return.

Hands-down you should order the filet. My husband had the lamb, and it was a pretty fatty cut so the flavor was good but he didn’t like the actual meat. Then he tried my steak and was blown away. The shrimp appetizer is also excellent and included five shrimp which was generous.

We celebrated the birthdays of my husband and our best friend at Chefs Table. The food was absolutely outstanding and our waiter was efficient and very knowledgable about the food preparation and the wine pairings. The filet mignon very flavorful and "melted in your mouth".
