The food was amazing. Our server Howie was a rockstar. He went over the entire menu with us and made great recommendations. Can’t wait to go back to Florida to enjoy this place again!
Fantastic like always! Thank you for another great experience!
Server was excellent, as was every course. The foie gras is amazing and not to be missed...
Went here in a whim. We were at a local winery and a couple we were talking to suggested us to go here.
It was easy to book on open table, they were accommodating as we were alittle late.
Drinks were good. Food was amazing minus the chocolate creme brulee, it was too rich.
Our server Taran, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, friendly.
Definitely would go here again when I come back.
My wife and I visited the Chef's Table to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. We thought the food was excellent, but the feeling a bit stuffy.
There was one very strange thing, which was the emphasis they appear to put on the value of each bread roll that they distribute. Asking for bread appeared to summon a host of hubbub in the kitchen until the bread-boy (yes, he is the bread-boy), came out with his thanksgiving-esque tongs and places one avocado-sized piece of bread upon our plates. Upon further investigation, he never had more bread in his bucket than what he had planned to give out.
It led my wife and I to wonder the origins of such a bread. Was it sprouted at the table of the last supper? Perhaps it was the last meal of Archduke Ferdinand? Did Abraham Lincoln watch these rolls rise as he considered national emancipation? One can only speculate. The food was very rich and delicious, and maybe we're just simple people, but bread is kind of something you don't go cheap on when you spend $200.
I may return, although, I shall bring my own bread in such a case as that.
The food was fabulous. Choice of 4 entrees, apps and desserts, menu changes. Service was great and all our food choices were outstanding. My husband raved about the filet and how it was prepared this week. The fig mule was a great cocktail to start off the evening. The grouper was delicious and so was the beet risotto it came with. Highly recommended! The only downside was that the dining rooms are small and it is extremely easy to hear others conversations, even if you are not trying to.
Great food and service! The fixed price menu has great choices
Wonderful experience, from the walk back to the Chef’s Table section, to the view of the kitchen, superb service (Jeff is awesome), the wonderful food and excellent wine pairings. Can not be overstated what a wonderful time the four of us had.
A great dining experience from start to finish. Very intimate, very romantic, and very delicious. Highly recommended to celebrate a special occasion and less recommended for everyday dining as you will leave gloriously full and will likely not be able to do anything for the rest of the night.
I really don't know how to review the Chef's Table. It is our favorite place in the Orlando area to go out for supper, period. And we have high standards for where we go out to eat. But our preferences say nothing to anybody else. Is it Haute Cuisine? Not really. Will you get a postage stamp sized thing that supposedly tastes like pizza balanced on the head of a pin for one of your courses? No. Will you get a millisecond of attitude from any of the staff? No. Hell No. You'll get good portions of the highest quality perfectly prepared profoundly flavorful imaginative food. The wine paring (if you select it) includes wines you may not have had before: furmint, monastrell, German reisling, or albarino, etc. The desserts are substantial and sweet ( help me understand why desserts should not be sweet) and there is always a selection of sorbets. The service is exceptional, no other word. You get to choose from four first courses, four entrees, and four desserts. If you absolutely must order off menu then please go someplace else. The seating is fairly intimate and you will be subjecting the rest of us to your blather. Like I said, I don't know how to review the Chef's Table. We all have wonderful memories of certain dishes that our mothers or grandmothers made for us. I think the Chef's Table is like your grandmother would have cooked if she had gone to culinary school.
The Chef's Table is consistently very good food, service and ambiance and also very good deal.
Excellent for a birthday or any special occasion !! It was my boyfriend’ first time, he’s a chef, and we loved everything. You can really tell the love that goes into each dish. Our service was amazing and the wine paring was perfect!!
This was our first time dining here and a 45 minute drive. Well worth the trip to discover such a hidden gem. The waiter was very attentive (we have his name for next time). The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. The mushroom tart appetizer was a bit pungent for some, but I loved the earthy flavors. My rack of lamb was perfectly prepared and, unlike a lot of restaurants, a very hearty portion.
Unfortunately there was a loud table next to us. When they left, the dining experience was PERFECT. We can't wait to return.
Hands-down you should order the filet. My husband had the lamb, and it was a pretty fatty cut so the flavor was good but he didn’t like the actual meat. Then he tried my steak and was blown away. The shrimp appetizer is also excellent and included five shrimp which was generous.
We celebrated the birthdays of my husband and our best friend at Chefs Table. The food was absolutely outstanding and our waiter was efficient and very knowledgable about the food preparation and the wine pairings. The filet mignon very flavorful and "melted in your mouth".
Such a great meal but made that away because of exceptional service. Fun night out!
Absolutely Spectacular. If I could I would eat there all the time. Highly recommend.
Server was excellent entire staff was friendly Food was very good
For a show at the Garden Theatre
For my husbands birthday ,we chose Chefs table to celebrate the occasion .This was our first
visit and won't be the last. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding.
We took our time enjoying our meal , we were not rushed in any way it was a lovely experience
which we will repeat very soon!!
Amazing and delicious food. Our server had us before and saw our names on the list and wanted to help us again. He is so knowledgeable about the menu , wine pairings, and passionate about good food. Our meals were top notch - appetizer, main and dessert. Can't wait to go again!
We had the 3 course meal with wine pairings. Each dish was beyond fabulous. Howie was an over the top server. If you love food and wine, put this dining experience on the top of your list! Jenny W
Service and food were excellent! I expected a more formal setting for the 3 course dinner and it was. My only issue was a table next to us who were really loud. Don't expect that when your trying to have a romantic meal in a more formal setting. I will definitely return. The server was one of the best I've seen and I'm in the hospitality industry and am often underwhelmed with service. I would definitely recommend
We’ve been to a number of finer dining restaurants for special occasions, but this is one of Avery few we keep returning to when we want a truly special experience. I can’t say enough good things about the food and service. It is top flight in every regard, which you expect at this price point but too often aren’t delivered. The Chef’s Table never disappoints. The fixed price dinner delivers exceptional value in a fantastic three course dining experience. The wait staff know their food, are exceptionally attentive without being intrusive and are very engaging and friendly. You can’t find better than The Chef’s Table in central Florida.
Valentine’s Day celebration
Outstanding! As usual.
The dinner here was exceptional, the service extraordinary. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
Outstanding food, wine pairing, and service will make this Valentines Day one to remember!
Absolute the best dining experience ever! Please do yourself a favor and experience Chefs Table at Edgewater!
The food was amazing, tasty, well presented, delicious and unique. We had a memorable experience. The filet was by far one of the best I have experienced. The staff was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I was hoping to see the chefs prepare my meal but my back was to the kitchen. I could have only hoped for a different table, even still it was a wonderful experience.
Lived up to expectations. Dishes were excellent, locally sourced. Colin, our server is great, knowledgeable. My favorite was the Mushroom torte. Wine pairing was on point.
We did the wine pairing with our meals, and everything was excellent. The service was impeccable. Each and every server was very knowledgeable of the food options as well as the wines. I would highly recommend this to anyone on a special occasion or even for a nice dinner date.
Celebrating friends 20th Wedding Anniversary . Was a perfect evening.
Fabulous dinner tonight, everything was superb...the grouper, the rack of lamb, the foie gras, the bread pudding...and very nice job with the wine pairings. Can't wait to go back!
Always wonderful. Food beyond exceptional and service to die for.
Great place for an anniversary dinner. Atmosphere and service are excellent and of course the food is outstanding.
It was absolutely wonderful. The ambiance is incomparable & our server Jeff was so so great.
My date and I went for his birthday. Wonderful experience. Being served by the chefs was a special treat. Their intimate knowledge of the menu added to the enjoyment. Highly recommend!
Normally very good but this visit was subpar. The food was great as always but the service was pretty terrible this time. We went 15+ minutes with finished dishes left on the table and had no sign of the waiter, or he would walk by and ignore us.
We got the cheese platter starter and the crustini bread they sent out to put the cheese on was possibly the hardest bread I have ever had. It tore our mouths up pretty bad... The roof of my mouth is still a little sore two days later.
I was stuffed by the time dessert was ready and asked for it to go. Bug mistake, probably my fault not theirs, as I had ordered the creme brulee. They just kind of plopped it in a cardboard box and it was just basically a puddle if sludge by the time I got home. Again, I suspect this type of dessert is not supposed to be transported home but eaten right away, so likely my fault on that.
The entree and starter were fabulous as always. I'll certainly be back but hope next time I get a little better attention from the wait staff and they can do something about those rock hard, mouth cutting crustini for the cheese plate.
