In historic Winter Garden, just a few miles from Orlando’s theme parks, an intimate gourmet dining experience awaits you. Local residents rave about it and foodies come from all over the world to sample the superb cuisine and intimate service of The Chef's Table at the Edgewater. Our 3 Course Pre Fixe Dinner is priced at $58.90 per person, and generally consists of 4 choices per course.


Some of our recent awards include the Florida Trend Golden Spoon, Orlando Magazine Dining Awards, winning Best Restaurant, Best Kept Secret, Best Wine Pairing Dinner, Most Romantic Rendezvous, and Best Chef's Table. From the moment we arrived, until the end, the service was awesome. Greeted at the door, promptly taken to our reserved seating. Greeted by other employees on our way to the table. The waiters have these menus memorized and explained every dish and the flare each of them had. Flavors were amazing, textures were delightful. Price was a fraction for what you would pay at other chefs table experiences. I had the BlT salad, the Bone in Pork Chop which was cooked to a medium and perfectly seasoned and moist. I can’t complain about this place. It feels hidden, it’s romantic, its quiet.

This place is always top notch- best food and service hands down. Took my daughter there for a mommy daughter date and she was in absolute heaven, as was I. This place is by far the best hidden gem in the world- yes... it’s that good. Going on a date and want to impress? This is the spot-

It was a really excellent dinner. It was prix fixe menu and the choices for each course were great. The food was delicious and we will eat there again when we are in the area.

Very much enjoyed the Prix Fixe meal. The service was impeccable with our Server explaining and describing the menu completely, making recommendations when asked and even assisting with our alcoholic beverage order. He was very knowledgeable and personable. The food was outstanding and the menu varied enough for the tastes of both my Wife and I. Downtown Winter Garden is precious too. All in all an excellent experience.

This was, hands down, the finest meal I've had. I've been to countless places across the country, from the lowliest dives to the height of fine dining, and I've tasted some fantastically delicious food at all of them. The Chef's Table has not just raised the bar of what my expectations will be in the future, but has obliterated it. We will be back.

Our first time here and it was a weekday so it was quiet. The food was delicious, especially the foie gras which was superb! The presentation was beautiful, the service was great, the waiter had a fun personality but was also very knowledgeable about the menu and did a fabulous job making recommendations based on what we like. The wine we chose was very good and I loved the cocktail that he suggested! We will definitely go back!

The meal was outstanding, and Jeff our server was phenomenal. This New Orleans palette can tell you that these boys know what they are doing. Their style of cooking would make Paul Prudhomme and Emeril Lagasse proud.

Not our first visit and definitely won't be our last. Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and our wait staff service, food, and drinks were perfect! Highly recommend the foie gras, the pork chop and the filet. All so flavorful, tender, and perfectly prepared.

We had the most wonderful meal at Chefs Table and our server, Lionel, was fabulous! He was courteous, informative and funny as well. We truly enjoyed our evening here. Every dish and wine pairing was impeccable, beautifully plated, and delicious. Will be going back soon to enjoy more deliciousness at the Edgewater. Highly recommend.

This is my wife and my go to when it comes to a nice dinner. The food never dissapoints and the service is the best around. We love it. It isn't cheap so don't expect a Applebee's type of check but you get what you pay for.

We had previously enjoyed the Tasting Room and knew we wanted to come back to the Chef’s Table for the full experience. We were not disappointed in the least as a matter of fact, they doubled down on our first experience. First time at Chef’s Table was for our Anniversary. We dined on the Chef’s three course meal. The food was a true pleasure to consume. Our conversation while eating was just discussing about how good it all was. We also had the Cheese Tasting plate and we would go back just for that.

The restaurant is cloaked in rich woods and colors with low lighting. White tablecloths and candlelight adorn the tables. The uneven wood floors speak to the long history of the hotel in a charming downtown district.

The service was very personable, as if we were the only patrons in the room. It was quiet yet energetic and Jeff, our waiter, was a significant part of that. He described the minute details of each dish in a way that made your mouth water and let you know he was a foodie you could trust.

The drinks are fabulous. No skimping on the flavor or the fun. We recommend The Hurricane.

Last but not least, the desserts are just the right amount of sweet and the only way to end the evening properly.

We will be back. And hopefully soon!

This is definately a destination place for your special events. Had not been here in several years but the outstanding quality and service has remained unchanged. The price fix menu might be a barrier for some folks but to me it i s worth every penny. I value restaurants that the food cannot be duplicated.

My husband and I ate at The Chef’s Table in celebration of our wedding anniversary. I love how private the back room is with only 5 tables. It was extremely intimate and quiet. The food was absolutely spectacular and the service was perfection. I highly recommend The Chef’s Table for any celebration or night out!

We did the 3 course meal with wine paring. The food was excellent and certainly different than what you typically would find in a restaurant. We went early on Saturday night and the place was packed considering the spacing for the covid 19. Our table was just on the other side of the wall from the bar/tasting area so it was a little noisier than what we typically find when fine dining. I would not consider this a date romantic spot but more of a dining adventure when you are exposed to new foods or foods in a unique combination. I had a mushroom and chive crepe torte to start that was to die for. It was so flavorful. Considering I am a big fan of stuffed mushrooms I would go for this torte everytime. Truly unique. Next I had the new zealand rack of lamb with moroccan vegetables and couscous. Not something I would have typically. The flavors blend so nicely I ended up eating all the vegetables and couscous and leaving one lamb rack so I would have room for desert. For desert I had honey lavender creme brulee. Absolutely delicious and so different, I could not have been happier with my meal. The only negative was our waiter for got to bring my husband's drink (he remembered my wine) and we had to ask him again. Overall this was a good value for the "dining experience".

As always, it did not disappoint. The appetizers were fresh and unique to this restaurant. The lamb was prepared perfectly and the steak was extremely tender. Wine pairings were amazing as they brought out additional flavors in the food! Only suggestion would be a couple more main course seasonal selections.
