Chef's Table at the Edgewater

Outstanding food, attentive service and an intimate setting made for a memorable night out. The prix fixe menu offers several tempting choices. Each course we enjoyed was exceptional. We opened with the mushroom and chive crepe torte and seared foie gras. Both dishes were prepared perfectly and showed creativity as well as culinary skill. The filet mignon entree was perfectly seasoned and prepared. The pork chop entree deserves a grander name. Served with pork belly it was like no pork chop I've ever had. Nearly a pound of succulent, seasoned pork with a char on the outside. Desserts were every bit as pleasing. The cranberry bread pudding and chocolate torte finished a great meal. The wine pairings were spot on and the service paced just right. Could not have asked for more. Not an inexpensive night out, but for a special occasion it was worth every penny.

Went for my wife's birthday. Food, service, etc. everything was excellent. Was a bit on pricey side, but well worth it.

What a great experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for something different from the norm with good food and outstanding service.

I was disappointed in my experience at the restaurant. It was our anniversary which was noted on the reservation but they literally put us at the worst table, right by the door with a view of the kitchen. I felt like since we were not a "regular" as some of the others were, we were just another table. Food was good, but overall pretty expensive, even for a special occasion. I likely would not dine in the Chef's table again but stick to the front room.

Food is fantastic and Jeff made our dinner a great experience. He made some wonderful suggestions on dishes and drinks. If my budget allowed I’d eat there every week.

We’ve never had a bad meal here and the service is always top notch no matter who you have as a server. We appreciate the intimate atmosphere in the back and visit at least twice a month (sometimes more). Don’t forget to try their restaurant our front (more pub feel) and they have a wonderful weekend brunch!

Never disappointed with Chef's Table. We were seated immediately. Server was prompt and friendly and always available. Helped us pick a nice bottle of wine. We all had the scallops as an appetizer. Best I think I have ever had. Everyone enjoyed the entrees. Deserts were great. Just a perfect evening. Thanks to all the staff!

This is our fourth time eating here and every time has been excellent! We get a warm welcome, terrific service and excellent food. I especially like eating outside the theme park sphere of influence. The food is so much better than the chain resistants down near Disney (even the "fancy" ones.) Also, it's set in a super cute little town which makes for a nice after-dinner (or before?) walk.

Great place for a special occasion.

The menu was perfectly matched, to the wine selection for each flight. Each course was executed with skill and percussion, the layering of flavors pulling the best of the layer before building the complexity of the course. The service was on pointe , attentive, with out intrusiveness , server was fresh, animated, yet reserved.
The Chef’s Table has provided the highest level service and food for 11 years consistently for romantic outings, for groups of friends, and special events.

We have eaten at the Tasting Room many times and decided to try Chefs Table which is located in a cozy dining room behind the front restaurant. The 3 course set price menu offered many choices and also wine pairings with each selection. We were very impressed with the server and the service. The food was delicious and just the right amount. I would highly recommend Chefs Table.

We had another fabulous dinner at the Chef’s Table! Jeff our host was wonderful and we had a great time. Hopefully we weren’t the cause of too much noise.

Our guests were 1 hour late and the server and restaurant were absolutely fantastic in accommodating us. It was a special night for all of us. This is our very special place to go and enjoy great food and wine. The service is always perfect!!!!!

Phoenominal. I was talked into the pork chop by my wife and by the waiter, and I’m so glad I was! So moist and tender, and so much flavor! Easily the best pork chop I’ve ever had. The waiter was amazing, and the wine pairings couldn’t be beat. The wines were great, and the pours were very generous.

I can’t say enough about the experience. I will be going back soon!

Had another wonderful experience at The Chef’s Table. Excellent food and wine choices. Very attentive waiter made the experience an excellent one! Will definitely come back when I’m back in town.

The food and experience was just as perfect as it was 10 years ago when I went there for the first time. Hoping it’s not another decade before I can make it back!

This was my first visit to The Chef's Table at the Edgewater. We were celebrating a family milestone and could not be happier on our choice of restaurant. The staff was attentive but not intrusive, the kitchen was cooking with all cylinders and the food was promptly presented. The star was the food, what a wonderful meal. We even found a white wine that we had never heard of, and learned while ordering that was an Italian gem that is not common to find. Go Chef Kevin and staff, you offer an outstanding eating experience!

We had previously been multiple times to the Tasting Room in the front of restaurant and loved it, but had never tried the Chef's Table in the back. We went for dinner Friday night date night to celebrate a special event and we LOVED it! The service, wine selection, food & flavor were awesome! Definitely will be back!

We genuinely love Chef's Table. It's consistently a delightful meal, and and overall lovely experience. We go 4-5 times/year - some special occasions, and some nights out just because. They always remember us, our previous conversations, our meal preferences, etc. Their waitstaff is phenomenal. Highly recommend!!
