First trip to The Chef’s table and it did not disappoint. The 3 course meal with the wine pairing was perfect. Started off with cheese board that just really set the pace for our evening. Our waiter Steven was attentive and we never felt rushed to move on to the next course. Portion sizes were larger than expected. Will definitely return.
The service, meal and ambience was perfect!! A great place!!
No other words can describe the food, service, atmosphere and experience in dinning at this place. The word outstanding in all areas just seems to understate the actual meal and experience. I will be sure to return and return often in the future.
Excellent food. The wine pairings for each store was superb.
Great night out with friends, every thing was excellent, service, food and location! Definitely go again
One of the best restaurant experience.Must visit! Awesome
Amazing food and wine pairing. Worth the price for the whole experience.
Excellent dining experience. Great service!
Started with, who would later introduce himself as the GM, looking at my GF and I like we were crazy when telling him we had reservations. He did wish my GF a happy birthday as that was the occasion once he looked. Points there.
The bread turned out to be the hottest food item we'd recieve..
Appetizers were cold. Actually cold. Melted cheese on the tort was just a cold chewy mass. Crab cake was decent. Funny it comes in a cast iron skillet yet was barely warm lol
Main courses were tasty but luke warm. Porportions were great, I had the duck and my GF had the pork ribeye. It had a slab of pork belly on it that was pretty tough. Really would have been awesome if they were hot or just warmer.
Dessert was good. The creme brulee was good but there were a lot of burnt sugar. Which is laziness or moving too fast. Having made it at home only a handful of times. I expected caramelized sugar not burnt. Bread pudding I cant complain. It was delicious.
Service was great outside of the first odd interaction. Steve was out waiter and he was fantastic. Just the right amount of being there without feeling crowded. Took the time to explain the menu and give suggestions.
I am rather disappointed as this was by no means a cheap meal. I expected better and I don't think we'll be going back. Was not the best capstone to her birthday. Just took the wind out of our sails. I am embarrassed I didn't check this place out more before I commited.
Great menu with local product and ingredients. Carefully created menu and options for wine pairing. A great location for a celebration or special occasion.
Excellent service with great food! Wine pairing is a must!
Every dish we had was excellent (crab cake, fish entree, filet mignon, pumpkin creme brulee, sacher torte). Nice wine parings. Great service. The Chef's Table is always a winner for us.
Excellent food and service. Have been going there for the past 5 years.
We chose this restaurant for our anniversary. It was an expensive evening but the food and the service were top notch. The Mushroom and Chive Crepe Torte, Pork Ribeye and Duck Breast were outstanding. I did the wine pairing with my dinner and I really enjoyed having wines that I had not heard of that were made from grapes I had not tried before. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion. We will be back!
I took my mom here for her birthday and she said that everything from the food, atmosphere, service, and wine paring made this the best meal of her life! Thank you Chef's Table for making her birthday so special.
Very disappointed in the food this time. My appetizer, the blue crab ravioli, was luke warm at best. The duck was not as tender as it should have been, seems like the fat was not rendered enough.
Very nice experience! Great service with a very knowledgeable server. Food was excellent.
Jeff was fantastic. 2nd time he was our waiter and always well informed and made the meal with the pairing more memorable.
We had an amazing dinner and experience. Ryan was our server and he truly is the best. He took the time to answer all the questions my husband had regarding the different Port on the menu. Ryan is incredibly patient and personable. Thank you!
Ambience horrible. Need to walk thru the kitchen to get to the dining area. Manu variety very Good. Quality of food good, but not great. $ 69 for a menu is very overpriced. I pay the same at Chatham and that restaurant offers great service, great menu variety, great quality of food and has a superlative ambience! I found the Chef's Table very disappointing and the value for money is poor. NO MORE!
Excited to experience this restaurant, but disappointed. The Foie Gras for additional dollars was literally the size of a pecan. Chose the mushroom crepe. Sauce that complimented the pork was not very tasty or creative and bland. Go with the fish. The apple bread pudding was dry. We were seated staring into the kitchen. So, not a very romantic ambiance. However, the wine pairing was very nice. Good luck if you are expecting a romantic evening or special day. They did wish us a Happy Anniversary.
As always we had a wonderful evening at the Chef’s Table. The only real disappointment was my wife ordered the Duck which quite frankly tasted more like cured ham than duck. It was good but not what she had hoped for on her birthday. Regardless though, a wonderful evening.
Our second time going for our anniversary it was amazing
Somelier and server was same person - simply amazing - knowledge of the food and drinks. Awesome experience and definitely going again
Jeff is a phenomenal server and we have had him a number of times. If you have any questions on the menu, he is incredibly knowledgable. The food... is amazing every time we go. It's a pricey menu, but my wife and I know it is worth the value. We don't eat out a lot and save specifically so we can eat here!
Complete dining experience yeah
Very Nice Service, Excellent food, nice for couples or small groups!
Absolutely superb service and delicious food. My wife and I got there a little early so chose to have a glass of wine at the bar before being led back to the private dining area for Chef's Table. A little disappointed and confused as to why we were walked through several doors, the lobby of the hotel, past the restrooms, down a hallway through the kitchen area, before finally being seated, when there is clearly a door that leads directly from the room where we'd just been direct to the private dining area. I suppose it was to give us a bit of a historic tour of the Hotel the restaurant is located in, or perhaps to show us where the bathrooms are ahead of time, but to be honest, it detracted from our experience. I still highly recommend the restaurant for its service, great food, great selections of wines, and overall ambiance.
This is always our go-to for a special night out, and it never disappoints. The service to top-notch, the food is always delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The only minor improvement would be the room itself… previously we had dined in a different room right off the kitchen, which seemed more lively and true to the Chef’s Table name. This time we were in another room which was more like a wine cellar. It felt removed and almost TOO quiet, as if the other diners may overhear your entire conversation. However, this wouldn’t deter us from returning, though we may request the other room next time. Overall it’s a wonderful experience!
Fantastic food and the service was outstanding! Definitely recommended
Incredible experience! Outstanding food and service!
Great place for a nice meal and celebration. Service and food is amazing. Also recommend the wine pairing
The service and atmosphere were amazing! We loved our server and had a great time. The food was just okay. My husbands entree was wonderful but everything else was just sort of ordinary. We didn’t feel we got much wine knowledge as to why things were paired and flavors etc.
Love this place
Birthday and marriage anniversary
We had a great time everything was delicious!! Can’t pass on the cheese platter!
It was our first time at the Chef’s Table and we were not disappointed. The service was superb. JJ knew that is was our first time and thoroughly explained the menu in a way that made us want it all. The food was top quality with beautiful flavors and at a reasonable price. We will definitely be returning for just a date night.
The atmosphere is incredible. It’s like a time machine to the early 1900s and walking through the hotel lobby is a great touch. Our servers knowledge of the menu was remarkable and his service was impeccable. Attentive without being intrusive. Quite impressed!
