The tuna carpacio was outstanding. Drinks were also robust and good. This is a particularly good place for quiet conversation and the food is reliably very good. It's pricey, but worth it, especially if in the mood for something special.

This was our Valentine’s Day celebration, and the standard menu and specials couldn’t have been better. A llittle tricky to find and park (no valet on weekdays) but the room was elegant and warm, yet romantic. The menu is outstanding and my wife chose a Caesar salad which rivaled anyone’s, and a special rockfish entree which was exquisite. I splurged with a foie gras starter that was so rich and delicious as it melts in one’s mouth. But my big treat was the pheasant entree, which I have not seen on a menu for many years. It was done simply in a flavorful sauce that was truly unique and memorable. The wine list was extensive but fairly priced, as was everything. Service was perfect: attentive but not intrusive, friendly and professional. We plan to come back in a much shorter interval than the last.

Really excellently prepared food. Attentive and great service. (Although it seemed a wee bit slower the night we were there) Creative chef. Absolutely wonderful food.

Excellent food and attentive waiter when he was around. Service was WAY too slow -- over 2 1/2 hours. Still, a good restaurant.

Food is pricey, but never disappoints! Lovely setting where one can actually have a conversation. Great for date nights or double dates. Wonderful service. Again, food is always delicious

We were the only ones in the restaurant. Food was pretty good. Old atmosphere. We ordered soufflés and the waiter came by towards dessert and said the chef was having trouble with the soufflés and we would not be having them. But it was a great night with family for my husband’s birthday!
