   It was a good experience. The staff were very accommodating, gave us options on how we can pay in 1 bill, the gift cards were a creative way for everyone in our team to pick their own food, lots of affordable options. Great for teams hanging out together! ❤️

   The service set up was very confusing, self serve for food but then there are also servers. Some tables had servers while my table didn’t get checked on once, not sure why and that made us we feel very confused dining there.

   This was an extremely disappointing experience. We waited over 30 minutes after we were seated and repeatedly asked for someone to please take our order. Our mains came before our appetizers and then finally our drinks arrived. A waiter actually put one of our drinks up to his nose and smelled it before he served it to us. No one seemed to be interested in serving us but the large group in the corner had at least 6 servers and their own bartender. The noise level from the large group and the ridiculously loud dance music made it difficult to have any dinner conversation. Please know that I’ve been to restaurants like this before and have never felt so neglected.

   Made a reservation for a belated bachelor party. Each member had different tastes so Chef's Hall seemed like the best option because of all its diverse options. The food was flavourful and presented well. A really cool place. Our waitress was amazing and attentive. My only issue was only one waitress was on staff from five o'clock to about six thirty. It was fairly busy so it took a little long to be waited for beverages and then our food. It wasn't the waitress' fault but a staffing issue. I would definitely recommend this establishment for lunch, dinner, special occasions or and impromptu visit.

   I selected outdoor/patio dining when booking, but we were told it’s actually not available at arrival. The restaurant called a couple days ahead to confirm the reservation, where they only mentioned the 20% service fee for our group (9 ppl) but not the unavailability of the patio. We were disappointed. Plus, one of us ordered a salad, where the bottom half of the romaine lettuce was not cut.

    Overhyped. Very expensive small dishes. Expected much more selection but on a Saturday night, only two stalls were technically open. Limited menu and somewhat slow (though friendly) service. Would’ve preferred going elsewhere.

    Chef's Hall is the perfect spot to eat, socialize, and be comfortable with a group of friends. This place gives off very positive vibes. The waiters, and staff here are very sweet, and caring. The ramen here is very yummy. Find the big A to enter.

    Only 2 restaurants were open while if you look at the website it does not mention that. Food was unfortunately alright and was told we would be charged extra money for hot sauce that our pregnant friend asked for. Disappointing given had heard good things about Chefs Hall however, did not at all live up to the standards, or expectation.

    I think the servers were intoxicated because they were very clumsy and kept knocking themselves on me. They were also very disorganized and couldn’t see that there was a plate of food which was clearly there and only a drunk person would think that they couldn’t see something so obviously present. I thought it was the most odd experience. First time, and not a good impression! But understandable since it’s a bar setting….

    I was a regular at Chef’s Hall ore-pandemic; and unfortunately it still has a way to go to get back to the uniqueness and ambience. The selection of stall has increased slightly - but still a far cry from before; but the table dining does bring some order to the chaos. Hopefully more stalls open up and this becomes once again the regular go to!

    Not as many places open for lunch as noted on the Chef's Hall website so we ate at Calibri and it was very good.

    The quality of Chef's Hall has gone down significantly since the last time I was here, pre-COVID. There are only two restaurants available, one of which is a chain (Ramen Isshin). The food was overpriced, as were the drinks, and there is only one beer available on tap, which is a significant departure from before. We also were served on plastic plates. Would not recommend, it's definitely not the Assembly Chef's Hall of before. As well, the place was basically dead on a Saturday night in the Financial District, which is really unusual and speaks to the poor quality.

    A very different "Chef's Hall" experience than 2+ years ago, but good nonetheless. We had something from each of the chefs in house and we weren't disappointed. Service staff were very good as well.

    I loved this place and the service was excellent! The food is mostly fast food or bar food but it was really good, i would recommend others to go with friends for drinks instead of a date, it’s hard to have a conversation due to loud music.

    We found out that if you reserve you can actually get table service. It took several minutes for our order to be taken. Somewhat disappointing considering how empty the place was. Thé Colibri double fish tacos however, did not disappoint! Plentiful, great taste and texture. We would definitely return. Sad to discover that the food hall’s 17 pre-pandemic stalls have been reduced to three!!!

    If I could think of one word to describe Chef’s Hall during our recent visit, it would have to be “deserted.” It was so sad to see so many empty restaurant stations, but thank goodness RAMEN ISSHIN was open. The Roasted Garlic Shoyu Ramen is delicious and they serve the best Chicken Karaage in town!

    We went to Chefs Hall for our anniversary, expecting to have access to a variety of dining experiences and bars as the website states. I have been to similar concepts in Miami and Montreal and always loved the experience. Here Only two restaurants are open and two bars, which would not have been a problem if we had known earlier, as they advertise 15 restaurants and four bars. Our server was terrible, he was not attentive at all. It took forever to get plates cleared and a refill of our drinks. If he was paying attention to us, we would have kept ordering. We complained to a manager that we had been waiting 30 minutes and no one had seen us. She apologized, bought us shots and then gave us a new server, who was equally as absent. If the place was busy maybe this would make sense but it wasn’t, i was watching my servers all night just be social with their co workers while we had empty drinks. It was so underwhelming, especially for our anniversary. Mid dinner we decided to make reservations elsewhere and celebrate our anniversary somewhere where we would be made to feel special, or at least wanted as guests. I definitely will never go back.
