Interesting menu - steaks, seafood, Swedish.
All food was excellent, my husband & I had the Sunday special - Paella. Friend has fresh SeaBass.
The she-crab soup is fab!!

Nice atmosphere, piano player, tables are space to provide privacy for conversations.
Did i mention Happy Hour - great prices & drinks!

Chelf Rolf's is great. Food is always delicious. Unfortunately, Open Table overbooked out time frame by 15 reservations!! Highly recommend Chef Rolf's drop Open Table.

An excellent experience. The only issue was that OpenTable overbooked the restaurant and about 30 people all showed up at the sale time to be seated. Host was excellent and we were seated within about 20 minutes. Well worth the wait. Prime Rib was excellent. Great wine selection too. We will be back again!

Worst Valentine's Day experience ever! I'm sure the food is good here, unfortunately we never got the meals we ordered. Arrived before our reservation time, seated in 15 minutes. Ordered at 6:30 pm, told at 7:50 pm that they were out of what we ordered, offered to substitute anything else on the menu, but the were also out of what we requested. Finally found a suitable option. 10 minutes later, waiter came back and informed us, the only had 1 and not two of this selection. After this we were done, and asked that the appetizer and soup be removed from our bill as we were leaving. Our request was gracefully granted with an apology from the waiter and host. The Chef/Owner was unwilling to come out and aploogize to us directly. Severely disappointed in our experience at this restaurant.

It is a nice place with a Very Nice and Pleasant Staff! Good for a special occasion.......Not a good value for everyday dinning though!

Excellent brunch of Lobster, Beef and Eggs Benedict- great food and value!

The stone crabs were fresh and we'll prepared, very easy to eat. The waitress didn't bring a bowl for the shells or towelettes to wipe our hands after handling the crabs.

Went for Valentine's Day Brunch. Had a reservation and when we got there only 8 tables were full. So explain to me why on Earth our food took 1 hour before it arrived?? They gave complimentary Mimosas which was a nice touch, but not enough to take off our mind on how hungry we felt. I had to ask to the Host if our food oder was ever placed because we didn't understand the long wait when the restaurant was less than 5% filled. Once the food arrived we were happy to see that the food really did looked good. Everything was delicious but our food was cold, like it's been sitting in the back the whole time.

Overall, food had great flavor, the pricing was very reasonable, but don't expect fast service or hot/warm food.

Well we went for our son’s 21st Birthday..the first round of bread was great..the rest is sketchy..we will NOT be back..had to send meal back twice

Heard service here was bad, but that was understatement. After seated, waited nearly 30 minutes for water only. Glass had lipstick on it when presented. Waitress said, I thought I cleaned the glasses. Meaning we had dirty glasses. On top of that, our waitress was NOT wearing a mask at all, even though it was restaurant policy. That was only the service. Food was subpar and over priced. Asked to add a lobster tail to my steak. They brought me a whole lobster that was mushy and over cooked. Only wanted one lobster tail, but was charged for the whole lobster. Didn't give me the option. Just a bad experience.

Easy to reach, enough parking, very clean, good amount of different food to select. Service was great, food excellent and affordable. 5-star overall!

Food was delicious, service was excellent. Great ambience - easy to have a dinner conversation. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back.

Had prime rib and it was outstanding . Our server Barrie was great.

Service got off to a slow start and only slightly improved. Restaurant appealed to older demographic.

This was our first visit, but won’t be our last. Particularly enjoyed getting to know Roy, the “mixologist” at the bar. The perfect bartender.
Our food was very good: wife had scallops and I enjoyed the ossa bucco. It was very good that Chef Rolf visited us and asked if all was well. Our only concern was that our waitress, although a lovely person and very attentive, wore her mask under her chin until we asked her to wear it appropriately. She complied from that moment on, and as I said, she did a good job.

Average food and service. Excellent grouper ceviche. Otherwise food was below expectations and so many better places to go in Sarasota

We were greeted at our appointed time and taken directly to a table. The wait staff was prompt, efficient and answered our questions. Food was outstanding. We will return.

Chef and other staff all addressed us when we were seated and when we left. Excellent service and Sunday brunch. Manager also told us about upcoming specials and invited us back.

This was my first experience at Rolf's, I will go back every time that I am in Sarasota, can't wait for the next time.

First time dining, will defiantly make a return. Food was amazing with a unique menu. Server was great and friendly. Host was always checking on us and other guest. Ordered a bottle of wine that was okay. We regretted not going with our first choice. Took a pizza to go that was amazing! All in all a good experience

We had a wonderful meal! 1lb lobster 19.99 and 12 oz prime rib 19.99. Service great too! We will go back!

Used to go there for “thee chocolate cake”. I think they changed to dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate.....not as good.
Food, service, ambiance was very good....but the chocolate cake changed, may have to go elsewhere now.

The food was very fresh and delicious. We were not rushed. The waiter checked with us so that each course was freshly prepared and hot.

The food was excellent, and our service that night with Roy (the bar manager) was excellent. They were a bit slow, like most restaurants these days, but we were happy to support a local restaurant.

Our first time there, the food was great, wine list was "ok", hard to say what the ambiance is/was being that it was in large part empty. I can imagine if this place is full it has a different feel to it.

While it was maybe not as "modern" as some of the other new places, the open kitchen was cool, they had a piano player playing music all night and overall the food and service was very good.

So is it a "must visit" for me, no probably not...but I also don't think you can go wrong here if you want a nice dinner and something that isn't a chain or isn't in the hub of tourist stuff. You can tell almost everyone in there was local, so that's a good sign the food is always good. And the chef came by and said hi which was a nice personal touch also.

Excellent food, Service was a little slow, but very friendly. The baked brie appetizer was outstanding.

Came here for NYE dinner. We are always going out to eat and trying new places and I was not very impressed. Food did not taste fresh and was a bit overpriced. Waiter and staff were all super nice and had an overall great experience, but the food was just average.

New Year’s Eve.

Dinner was excellent and Candace provided excellent service. Will definitely go back again.

Two hours on a night with a few tables taken. Service was extremely slow no idea why. I think the waiter was new but was so quiet wouldn’t expect the long delays. On the upside food was very good.

Great food, wonderful ambiance,fantastic service.
Really enjoyed piano. Will be our special dining destination!

Our Christmas meal couldn’t have been more perfect!! All was wonderful!!

You cannot go wrong at Chef Rolf's New Florida Kitchen. Our appetizers and entrees were superb, and the service was wonderful. I had the Grouper and my sister had a 1/2 Maine lobster stuffed with Rolf's mac and cheese, and an 8 oz NY strip steak. Portions were huge, and dessert and coffee was delicious. We will be back.
