Sad this place is closing. Such fond memories. Don’t take your favorite food places for granted!

This has been one of the best restaurants in Indy. It sad to see them close but it will be interesting to see what comes next from all the greats people there.

We had such a fabulous evening. Great staff, music was wonderful, food was good. I really hate to see this restaurant close. It has a personal touch that is obvious from the minute you walk in the door that very few restaurants have. I wish you all well as you start new endeavors.

We enjoyed Chef Joseph"s a lot and were looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, the waiter told us the restaurant would be closing its doors on Dec. 31st.

Our dinner club always plans a get-together at a restaurant to celebrate the holidays. We picked this location due to the food choices and music. We appreciated that the noise level was not so high that we could not have an easy conversation. We particularly liked the endless champagne and bloody Mary’s!

We went to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The brunch was great! I highly recommend doing the endless bloody Mary’s or champagne - only $15 with purchase of an entree.

We loved the restaurant, but the host did not know what he was doing and our waiter was very slow. Overall, the food was fabulous and we would eat there again.

We were looking for something unique and different and we found it. The food was amazing, service was quick and the atmosphere was very charming. Prices were definitely better than expected for a place like this.

Beginning with our 50th, this being our 55th, my wife and I have celebrated our wedding anniversaries at Chef Joseph's. Special restaurant for a special occasion.

We were so pleased with the Sunday Brunch experience at Chef Josephs! It was a Colts home game day and very busy. The service was excellent and the atmosphere with the piano player was very enjoyable. The bloody mary bar was a fun twist on a typical brunch and the food was excellent!

We are from Southern Indiana and every time we are in Indianapolis we have dinner here.
The food is incredible, great service and the entertainment is always perfect.

We have been here for dinner a few times, (though it had been a while) but never for brunch. Our meal was wonderful and the music was great. A good way to start a Sunday morning. We have never been disappointed with the food quality and service. Will definitely get back sooner next time.

I met a friend for brunch, and we LOVED our meal and endless champagne. I had a 10am reservation so I got there 5-10min before 10am to check in. The restaurant doors were locked. A staff member indicated through the window for me to wait. It was quite cold outside so I thought he’d at least let me stand in the entry way until they were ready for me, but I had to stand outside. That really is my only complaint. They had a lovely violin player and decent waitstaff.

we heard a particular live entertainer was scheduled to perform who we truly enjoy so we met up with friends and had a wonderful evening...the food was delicious and $5.00 Thursday martinis were quite the bonus. we made reservations for a specific area for seating and we were not disappointed.

We are from out of town and noticed this restaurant by the beautiful jazz music being played. As nice as the music was the food and service were even better. Our dinner was one of the highlights of our visit to Indianapolis.

Chef Joseph's never disappoints! Live music, great atmosphere and really good food...you really can't ask for much more. Wonderful time.

It was our first time dinning at Chef Joseph's and we loved it so much that it might be the place to hold our wedding reception! The food was outstanding , the service was friendly and very efficient. The wine and cocktails were tasty and affordable. I would definitely recommend Chef Joseph's at The Connoisseur Room!!

Sarah was so awesome!! I talked to her on the phone and she made sure that we had a wonderful experience for my birthday!

Excellent experience except for very loud table next to ours.

The service was great. The ambiance was very nice with some soft piano and voice accompaniment which still made conversation possible. The food we ordered was very good ...

However, the selection was very ordinary, very limited, very American ... steak, salmon, pork, chicken, leg of lamb, mushroom stuffed ravioli and a seafood special with scallops. That was pretty much it.... whole menu with "appetizers", salads/soups, lunch and dinner was all on one page.

Wife had seafood special and I had the leg of lamb... both were very good. However, I was extremely disappointed in the lack of choice nor any really unique dishes. They have a "small plate menu" for appetizers but again, somewhat limited ... was hoping to find some escargot ...but alas they must have crawled out of the restaurant...

Again food we had was delicious ... would be a four on its on, but combined with the very limited menu - which only deserved a two star rating, gave it a three star as the "average" between the two criteria....

This restaurant is ok. I had the steak with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was ok. The mash needed some help. My wife had the lamb shank with garlic mashed potatoes and haricot verts. The lamb was very tender. It could've used a little more seasoning. This was still a good restaurant.
