   We had a wonderful evening at Vice and Virtue. The 5 course April Menu was stunning. Great combinations that got our tastebuds tingling. My fav was the potato and coffee dish plus the pudding. Yummy. Will be back again soon. Lovely staff and atmosphere.

   What a wonderful evening … food and service was superb. My only comment was the food came out too quickly for us and we felt rushed and didn’t have time for one course to settle before the next. Losing one course and spreading out the food would be better. Portion sizes were great so you wouldn’t be left hungry if one course was omitted. The wine pairing choices were excellent. Thanks for a great night… we will be back.

   This is a really nice, pleasantly smallish restaurant in a good location in Leeds. We had the 7 course taster menu which certainly was an interesting selection of meals. It was skilfully made and presented but a number were a bit too much of a challenge to us, specifically the Not French Onion Soup and the Soup with Egg Yolk, but taste is a very individual sense! Overall, we enjoyed our visit and we look forward to seeing Chef Jono's Spring Menu.

   I can appreciate the innovation and creativity that went into all the dishes. However there were too many creamy courses and I found it to be extremely rich so struggled to finish all the courses. Though very tasty some were less to my palate than others. There were too many creamy courses and I found it to be extremely rich and struggled to finish as I was fearful for my stomach later with all that cream. The service was really excellent! The people who served were so friendly, chatty and accommodating to us being in a rush. However in that regard I really wish you’d have offered us the 5-course shorter version of the same menu which, as we booked at short notice, we didn’t know about. We could have then taken our time and maybe finished more of the courses.

   From the booking process to the food on the plate, everything was first class. We went for my son's 18th and we were thrilled with he whole experience. We all loved the quirky building and the dining room at the top was super. We chose a Sunday lunch taster menu and every dish was a delight; modern takes on some old English classics with a couple of Moroccan dishes too. We started with the Chef Jono take on a good old fashioned prawn cocktail. Perfect, slight hint of spiciness in the sauce and smooth almost whipped avocado. The birthday boy's highlight was the ham and eggs, slow cooked eggs that were perfectly done but completely liquid with fried smokey Parma han and a foamed Hollandaise sauce. My other son had the slow cooked "pulled" Moroccan lamb as his number one. Everyone loved the perfectly roasted beef with truffle mash potatoes and cauliflower cheese. The staff were attentive, fun, professional but down to earth. The atmosphere was just right, background music and plenty of happy talkative eaters! We will definitely be back

   Had the 5 course Sunday tasting menu. Every course was full of flavour - and at £49pp was fantastic value. We’ll certainly be coming back.

    The Sunday 5 course taster was way more substantial than what I would consider a taster menu to be Every single preparation was incredible- the flavours were unique. We had an alcohol and non alcoholic pairing- equally great . Absolutely worth the visit .
