Lovely Sunday brunch. Great food, attentive but not intrusive service. Bottomless mimosas were a hit as were the mini-donuts. Specifically chose this place over others for decent noise levels since these friends had a lot of catching up to do!

Average food, below average service. Pizza was soggy and we had to ask for our bill several times. Scallops were over salted.

We were seated in a quieter back room. It was a great evening, and there’s was no hurry or pressure on us to turn over the table. The food was good.

Jill the Manager and our Server were amazing but the food was So-so, under cooked steak but the real issue was the noise. It was almost deafening in the area of the restaurant that we were sitting and I say this as a prior military individual was damaged hearing. The manager called me a week later and told me they had a private party so that explains why the noise was so loud. I recommend trying this place.

Chez Geoff's Tyson's is a great venue for lunch or dinner at Tyson's. The have a diverse menu and a broad wine and liquor selection. Service is excellent. When only my wife and myself are dining, we frequently dine at the bar. Chez Geoff is well worth of a visit -

We had a late lunch starting at 1:30 and the service was very slow even though they weren’t busy felt like we had continue to flag down our waitstaff

The food was good (not great), but the service was terrible. Our waiter would disappear and never checked on us; we waited an HOUR to order. The order was incorrect, but he would never know since he never checked on us. We asked for a quiet table and they seated a group of ten celebrating a millennial's birthday next to us. Don't think they changed the decor since it was Colvin Run. This was a Sunday night at 5:30. Won't be back

Excellent food however the service was very spotty. The young man who waited on my table was not knowledgeable about the menu. He came to our table buttoning his shirt (I guess he just started the work shift) and his entire demeanor was less than professional. The service and atmosphere did not match the excellent food.

Chef Geoffs has very tasty food, cooked very well. It is fairly popular so it was crowded and because it is open area setting it gets fairly loud. Also because it was busy the service suffers and you just have to be patient. They do try to give good service but perhaps just need a little more help. The servers were very courteous and did apologize for the slowness of service.
Over all it is worth the noise and slow service.

We have been going to this restaurant since it first opened years ago and have mostly been pleased with it. Until the recent year or so... I feel compelled to comment, hoping that some changes will be made. When we arrived last week for our dinner, the hostess told us that part of our party was already there and seated at our table. When we told her that we arrived all together and we did not have anyone else in our party, she took us to our table but noted that other people were already sitting in it. So she took us to another table in the rear room. Even though we reserved for 5 people, we were seated at a table for 6. Our original waiter seemed rude and annoyed with us after we asked for the extra place setting to be removed. We felt that his tone was reprimanding when he told us to remove a jacket from the back of the extra chair. When we tried to explain that this was not our table to begin with, and our reservation was for 5 people, he very rudely and curtly told us he would get the manager. Well, the manager never came, and instead another more pleasant waiter served us. He was fine. However, one of our drink order and one of our food orders was delivered wrong and the glass of white wine we ordered was literally lukewarm. When we asked for a chilled glass of wine, we were brought a new glass, equally lukewarm. At the end of the dinner, we were told by someone who did not introduce himself that we would not be charged for the wine. We saw from the bill that we did indeed get charged for a glass of wine, just not the one we sent back! This was an overall and embarrassing and very suboptimal dining experience for us and for our out of town friends. The service at Chef Geoff’s Tysons has progressively gotten worse and this was not our first bad experience there. Needless to say, we won’t be going back for a good while, until we hear that the waiters have stopped reprimanding the guests!

Two couples went for dinner. My friend ordered a top shelf margarita with little mixer - the first drink was good, the second had too much mixer, so she sent it back and the replacement drink was much better. Her husband ordered a large bottle of sparkling water. A server, refilled the glass with regular water and they had to bring him more sparkling water. Each of these mistakes was fixed easily with apologies (the bartender came over with the second margarita to ensure that it was to her liking), so no big deal.

As for food, the server steered my friend and I away from the Healthy options, saying that they were seasoned with salt and pepper and that was it, and not terribly flavorful. Appetizers were the hummus with pita and the plantain chips with guacamole and both were delicious. My friend ordered a burger, but neglected to ask to substitute the fries for a salad, which was absolutely her fault. The rest of us helped her with the fries (as caring friends do) and they were pretty good. Her husband ordered a pizza, which he liked, but didn't realize it was a white pizza. Still he ate half and took the rest of it home. The server recommended the Hong Kong bass special, which I ordered and it was very good (fish was moist and the dish was light and flavorful) and my husband ordered a salad with salmon on top and was surprised to see that it was a dinner-sized piece of salmon. He said it was cooked well and he enjoyed it. For dessert, we shared the Oreo cheesecake, which was very good, but not as swoon-worthy as Cheesecake factory (and the serving was also a fraction of the size). However, we soldiered through and finished the whole thing (not to waste food, of course).

All in all, a successful meal. The service was friendly, but, at times, a little slow (it took about 20 minutes to get my second glass of wine). But, the food was good and we enjoyed it.

Chef Geoff's Tysons is our preferred spot for having dinner when friends are in town for business. The staff is always great about saving a table (even if we are dribbling in from many directions), the menu is varied enough that everyone can find something delicious to order, and there's never any pressure to finish, so we have a relaxing evening with friends at a reasonable price for the Tysons Corner area.

Absolutely the worst brunch experience I've had in years. It started with my friend asking the bartender for a greyhound before we sat down, and he just looked at him dumbfounded and confused.
When we sat down , it took our waiter several minutes to come and see us. He was short and only took 1/2 the tables drink order (we were a party of 5).
When 10 min later and our 2 drinks didn't arrive - he came back to tell us that there was a back up at the bar (the place wasn't even packed!). We asked if we could place our order and were rudely told "No. I said there was a back up". Just plain rude.
The manager finally came over to take our order.
I will say the hummus and cinnamon donuts were pretty good. I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs - pretty much the most basic and easy thing to make.
Bread was too thick and not toasted. Nasty turkey bacon was on top of the toast. And the eggs were cold and rock hard. I didn't even bother sending it back since the service was so terrible.
We will not be coming back for brunch, nor any other meals. Avoid this place.

What should've been an hour brunch turned out to be about a two hour brunch. Service was very slow and both the waitress and manager were serving us, they kept forgetting things. The only time the waitress was quick when it was time for the check. This is my second time taking someone here for their birthday. Food was great. Apart from the service being very slow, the staff was very friendly

We had the *best* family birthday dinner! The dining room is broken into rooms that are conducive to private celebrations/dining experiences. The tuna tartar appetizer was phenomenal - perfectly seasoned and uniquely prepared with a fried avocado half. We enjoyed seasonal cocktails along with additional starter selections of the blistered sheishido peppers and the edamame (caution - spicy). Our guests had a range of tastes so entrees included burgers, pumpkin gnocchi, salmon, chicken and fish tacos. We highly recommend this upscale but comfortable restaurant.

Good food, awful service. Server got one of our orders wrong and then disappeared. The correct order took almost 30 minutes to show up. Another female server was generally surly (not just this time but previously as well.) Manager finally opted not to charge us, which is why we recommend giving the place a second chance.

Visited for a birthday which was never acknowledged, oh well. The kitchen was off this night but previously have always been satisfied by the quality of the food. We found the pork chop to be okay but not a lot of flavor, the salmon was a little overcooked for being medium and the pizze was smothered in bacon but could have really used more fig and brie. The pizza dough by at the crust was chewy and nearly impossible to cut.

Went to celebrate a friend’s birthday with 7 ladies. Restaurant appearance was suprisingly bad for brunch time (food on floor/carpet needed to be vacuumed). Our service was extremely poor. We were there for over 3 hours- water glasses weren’t filled, cocktail orders not taken, coffee order missed. We were celebrating a birthday (which was specified in reservation and also indicated that day) and no attempt was made to acknowledge it during dessert. The food was decent (popcorn and avocado toast)- but overall very disappointed.

They sat us in the back with other families that had a lot of kids. Definitely kids section. Every time we have been to this location the service is awful. Waiter didn't know the menu. We spent the night trying to flag down any passing by staff to get drinks, spoons, dessert, etc. The food is good and that's why we come back.

We dined at Chef Geoff's before heading to Wolftrap for a concert. The food, always good there, was matched by extraordinary service. We told our server that we had time constraints, and she was terrific about making sure that our food was out in time for us to have a relaxed meal but still get to the venue in plenty of time. My husband is particularly fond of Chef Geoff donuts, and they didn't disappoint! All in all, we love the food and the ambiance at all the Chef Geoff restaurants around town.

The entry into the restaurant itself didn’t start well - we encountered a couple of rude patrons getting out, they might have ask well trampled my six year old on their way out. Well the restaurant cannot control the behavior of its patrons so I would let that slide. The concierge took us to the table without checking on the status of the table so we had to wait standing there awkwardly while they were cleaning and setting up the table. There were three couples Or coworkers who very drunk and extra loud in the next table. They were added distraction to the ambiance. Again - it’s the patrons not the restaurant, let it slide again. The waitress might be some British royalty slumming at this job in her part time. She was too high brow and upper lippy and just left to come back around while we took a moment to decide - without asking whether to leave us some time to think the choices. . And the next time when needed to add another item, she just passed by couple of times without making even contact with the table. It was so hard to get her highness’s attention- had to ask the busboy - (she was a girl) to send the waitress to our table. And I could see the waitress didn’t come sooner after being told - and she had nothing on hand and nothing to do, and waltzed a couple of rounds through tables before showing up. And then the food came, and it was delightful! Well they are doing something right at this place and deserve the chef title on their name. The manager was super nice and even took our leftovers to pack them. His attitude was polar opposite of the waitress that was a welcome relief.
