I will miss this location. I have had a lot of good times at this location.
Always good!! 5 of us went to lunch for a co-worker's farewell. Not only did we have to say see you to our friend, but had to say goodbye to Chef Geoff's Tysons. Such a bummer!!! However, the food and service were both excellent - as always. Damn building owner apparently wouldn't re-negotiate the lease. :(
Food is always good. Service was a bit slower than normal bc of a very crowded bar area and a couple large tables, took forever for us to get our bill. Overall server was super friendly.
Great atmosphere. Awesome happy hour specials.
Went for brunch on a Sunday. The food, while well portioned and priced reasonably, was barely seasoned. The eggs didn't have any seasoning and the burrito needed extra salsa to give it flavor. The potatoes were good. The ambience was okay though in need of an update- more so the booth we sat in that was scratched and had some old wine splatters.
Very nice. Great food and attentive service. Just the ticket for father's day brunch.
I took my father out to Father's Day breakfast. We arrived at 10:45pm and its was almost empty. It filled in as the day progressed. I really have always been a fan of their happy hour, restaurant weeks, and lunches. This was the first breakfast experience. I gave it a 4 out of 5. I didn't like the bread on my Eggs Benedict. It was too hard to cut - - don't mess with my Eggs Benedict. I like to go there, because the atmosphere to me is fine dining, but for a good value price. A great place to go to have a good conversation and not have to yell.
Chef Geoff's Tysons is closing and we are so sad. It has been our go-to place for 10 years since they took over the space previously occupied by Colvin Run Tavern. We wish the entire staff all the best. Whoever takes over the Chef Geoff's location will have big shoes to fill.
We went for a Father’s Day brunch. The food was delicious and we’re glad we got there before that location closes at the end of June. They cater well to people with allergies.
Too bad Tysons location will close :-( The food and service were always great!!
We are sad that the Chef Geoff's Tysons location is closing. We have happy memories of celebrating family milestones including birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. All the best to The Geoff Family!
They seated us close to bar which was loud - the restaurant wasn’t packed and put us where it was clearly more convenient for them and not for our enjoyment.
Excellent as always - a business lunch go-to.
The food was great. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The only thing is the waitress disappeared towards the end when we were ready to go.
The restaurant needs some renovations. Dirty tables, worn out carpet, everything looked dirty and run down. Not the restaurant that I remember.
Great location in Tysons, next to Tiffany's. The meal was very good and we enjoyed excellent service.
Good and ambiance was great, however, the service was slow even though the restaurant did not appear to be particularly busy.
Shout out to the unlimited mimosa's at brunch. I didn't even have to ask, they just kept them coming. And there are several flavors. YUMMY.
Brent, our server, was Knowledgeable and fun. Gave us just the right amount of attention and space. The wings were incredible as were the sweet potato fries. Loved the softshell crab BLT! More please
Michael was outstanding! The host so thoughtful to ensure that we have the perfect table
for my 80
year old parents and I to have a quiet b day celebration. World
class service and food! Bless you Michael and the host the evening of 5/17
in tysons corner!
I had the Grilled chicken salad special. The salad was treat, however the chicken breast was flat and very dry.
Everything seemed delayed, drinks, food, everything
Steak was undercooked. Frittata overcooked. Yukon potatoes overcooked.
Skillet cookie good.
Much improved with far better service !Food was great and good selection. Reasonable prices.
Food was fine and we appreciated the hostess fitting us in when we called a few weeks ago seeking a reservation for a fairly large number for Mother's Day brunch. However, when everyone got their food except for one person (after almost an hour wait), then that person had to wait about another 10 minutes for their food meaning most people were almost done with their meal, you'd at least expect an apology. Neither the waiter nor manager offered an apology for the slowness of getting the food or the addition delay of the missing meal, that ended up being served cold. With the price tag, I expected more from them on this.
Mother’s Day brunch was ok but I had to send my eggs Benedict back as the eggs were over done
Way too noisy too
But the service was great and complimentary valet is nice
Came on Mother’s Day, and it was really busy.
Our server was friendly and attentive to the drinks. She was super busy and forgot about us in the beginning.
I was disappointed that they offered only the special menu and nothing else. On the website it said that the full menu would be available.
The steak was a bit tough, but otherwise good.
Food on Mother’s Day was not as good as usual and wait staff seemed visibly confused on the floor about what food was going where. Maybe because service was generally just getting started. We will go back again, but will hope quality is up to normal standards.
Try the Cauliflower appetizer ! Do wish they had more than one sparkling water brand (only had Saratoga) though but loved it all besides that.
The food was very good and the valet parking was great. The waitress too my valet ticket when the bill arrived so the car was ready after i payed the bill
Our dining experience was good with excellent service, good food and a nice ambiance. The complimentary parking is great.
Everything was excellent except there should have been more staff to assist the waitress....bus boys/gals, some one to refill drink orders or take desert orders. There was an extremely long wait between appetizers, entrees, refill of drinks (only happened once near the end of the entree) and desert order. One or two more enterprising individuals would have made it perfect. Our waitress a young blonde girl was excellent but too stretched out to provide the service that the price tag quoted.
Love coming here for brunch with old friends - great place!
Meet with friends from out of town and we enjoyed outstanding meals.
Service was slow and the waiter inattentive which was less than ideal for a business lunch. I had the scallops which were fresh and prepared to the perfect temperature, but then ruined by dousing them in salt.
Easter Sunday dinner with great food
The food was good, but the service was outstanding!
Great atmosphere with outstanding service. The food was impeccable
When you book Easter brunch for your family of 3 the day before...you know you’re not going to get the best...but we should’ve just stayed home. Expected an Easter buffet but instead had a very limited brunch menu. Scrambled eggs were soupy and the bacon was thin like a fast food restaurant. The Yukon potatoes were great. I got the mahi mahi tacos - which were good for the first couple bites then got soggy. Best parts were complimentary valet and the pineapple mint sangria.
We like Chef Geoff’s! This thyme ‘twas for the Easter Sunday Brunch. Bottomless Peach & Pear Mimosas provided gentle pagan spring buzz, cinnamon donuts were decadent, but of modest mass, so... less GUILT. The Garlic Spring Lamb hit my traditional Easter spot and the asparagus had a nice char, great texture/flavour. Single disappointment this visit was my cutie’s Classic Scramble: her eggs arrived clumpy & cloddy, whereas last time they were uniformly smooth, velvety & creamy. Taste was bang-on so we didn’t complain. Server Erin was joyous, quick, efficient, and matched us in merry banter.
