Great place- service, food, etc. will definitely return soon.
Chef Geoff’s is the best and if you don’t sit in Abdel or Marija’s section, you’re doing it wrong.
The mushroom ravioli was superb.
We enjoyed a quiet evening on the lovely patio.
Sunday brunch was very good. Wish the menu had a choice of fried potatoes or salad.
As with most of the places in this empire the food is ok. The scene is family friendly and the service is warm but indifferent. Steak came out the wrong temperature. An appetizer not at all. Stick to the pizzas and simpler dishes and you’ll be fine.
It was a nice place to have a graduation celebration
Excellent food and service! I enjoyed my graduation party at the restaurant. Our waiter was fun and efficient.
The service was poor and the bathroom was filthy. Unfortunately, I will not be back.
Had asked for a nice table not scrunched up next to others and they certainly did. This was for a birthday lunch and they told me we could have on the house ice cream with a candle which was nice. Food was delicious (soft Shell crab sandwich, great fried, fish tacos), service attentive and nice and all for a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend !!
I was so excited to take out of town guests here for Mother's Day dinner. The website listed the "Sunset Special" where you could order an app, main, and dessert for $28. When we arrived we were told they weren't doing the special that day "because it would take too long." If that's the case, the website should reflect the change.
Three of our four meals arrived incorrectly or incomplete.
When the bill came we were charged incorrectly.
There was no mention of righting any of these wrongs. I've dined at Chef Geoff's many times and the food is spectacular and the service is normally wonderful. However, I was embarrassed that I took my friends here last Sunday.
Mithers Day ,great food great service,a little nousey
Great day to sit outside... Love that they have Saturday brunch.
We were all looking forward to what Geoff does best - burgers. Only to find there was a special Mothers Day menu and the burgers were not on it. Despite the fact that we were there for a graduation brunch - and it was NOT Mother's Day. Had a rubbery frittata instead. We all left very disappointed.
Enjoyed ourselves. Had a late reservation and felt a little rushed by the wait staff although they were friendly. The food was really good and the patio very pretty and relaxing.
Chef Geoff’s is a place I have been told is consistent and good food with good service. I would have to agree. It was a good experience and I know I will be back.
Always solid menu and wait staff. I'm not afraid of a sandwich for dinner and Chef Geoff provides a great selection of sandwiches. Gusto!
Thierry was an excellent waiter - informed and engaging. His knowledge of French wines was impressive. Perhaps he will become equally intrigued with California wines. At least we learned how much he likes AtoZ Pinot Noir from Oregon.
There is a particular young woman who is extraordinary! I have interacted with her several times and she is welcoming, professional and attends to guests without hovering. When we saw her on Thursday evening, I was thrilled because I knew we were going to have a lovely experience!
My neighborhood go-to. Especially when I have burned a lot of calories during the day and I can partake of the Sunset Special. I was a bit disappointed in the seasonal change on the crusted salmon; I much preferred the roasted vegetables served during the winter to the mashed potato served now (though the asparagus was fine). But i know that things will be well and i'll find other favorites 9perhaps the trout my companion had).
We had a fabulous waitress (Maria, sp.?). Also, Chef Geoff stopped by to visit with us and is totally charming as well as a great chef!
The service was very slow. We had to ask our server several times for things so he wouldn't just walk away. Food was great and seating outside was gorgeous.
Great-- as usual. Always fun-- good for out of town visitors . Another terrific dinner.
Amazingly varied menu with something very good for everyone.
Food was subpar.
They had only one server for the entire indoor dining area.
Family friendly overall. Portions for kids are large and not a lot of choices. The calamari was excellent and the crab cakes are always very good.
Food was excellent. The broccoli soup was delicious. We are regular customers and frequently take our family.
Great server at the bar.
The staff are wonderful and provided us with an wonderful time!
We had a nice meal. Restaurant was loud, but the food was good.
Always a good time at Chef Geoff's. One of our favorite go to places when we want something casual and good. Service was good; we all had one of the dinner specials and everyone enjoyed themselves.
Great food. Great service!
This used to be a go-to for burgers. It is not reliably as good as once was - the burgers tend to be lost in 'creative' toppings and we long for basic flavors to shine once again. It is an expensive burger once you add a drink, even without an appetizer or dessert.
Thierrien (Terry) is a terrific waiter
Wonderful experience at chef Geoffs
I went for the Easter brunch. Even though I was a party of one, it was never weird. When dining alone in good restaurants, sometimes I am either overlooked or served extra fast since I am taking up a table for 2 or more people. Thankfully, this has never been the case at Chef Geoff’s.
My eggs benedict were PERFECT and the Bloody Mary’s were so good that I had 2!
We love coming to Chef Geoff's from Annapolis to meet our daughter and family. This time it did not seem up to previous visits. We arrived as they opened on Sunday with a 10:30 reservation but waited while they got our table ready (party of 6 including two children). It was not crowded bc of being early but we were seated at a 4 table with extensions on the end for a crowded 6. With children, the table was not level in places. There were other options on the booth wall with pulling tables together and my personal experience is that children do much better in booths.
Service was okay but took some waiting to get coffee cups refilled. Had to ask twice for another food item. Just not what we are used to here.
Chef Geoff's (New Mexico Ave.) is our go to place for a very enjoyable, and delicious meal. I reserved for dinner as a Birthday celebration. The fish dishes were very tasty and fresh. The Alaskan cod was superb. I requested a banquette seating because we were concerned about the noise volume, and it was the right choice. The 3 of us were able to hold a conversation without straining our ears.
Our only concern was that our server was tardy with our bill. The wait was bit too long after our dessert.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Very reasonable prices.
Excellent as always. I go often. Especially love the kale salad and the pecan crusted salmon.
It is such a pleasure to have this restaurant in the neighborhood
