We had a fabulous waitress. She was helpful with menu and very accommodating when we had to change tables. Unfortunately there was major jackhammering on the street. It made it impossible to talk so we moved indoors. Indoors dark and dreary. We all loved our meals.

I am giving Cheff Goeffs the lowest rating this time because at the end of our dinner a mouse appeared on our bench seat. We notified the staff who didn't seem to be very concerned about and said they would do something about it later. All of this is unacceptable. The mouse kept roaming on the bench as we left

Chef Geoff's is the place to go in the American University area. I have eaten there regularly over the years and every single meal I've had was absolutely fabulous. I recommend it to anyone who wants a great meal.

We were seven for brunch. Each of us ordered something different. We were all pleased with what we had ordered. For example, I had the black bean burger which was very good. My wife had fish tacos, which are always good. My son had eggs, which were very good. The service was very good and responsive. Chef Geoff is always a nice restaurant to visit.

I wasn't expecting haut cuisine during restaurant week. But, the menu was very varied. I chose a glass of Chef Geoff chardonnay rather than an appetizer - very smooth. Certainly worth having again. I chose the scallops and broccolini for my main course. Excellent and excellent. Decadent dessert of Chocolate and ice cream. All in all a lovely experience.

We love the ambiance of the outdoor seating at Chef Geoff's. Our server was upbeat and helpful. We found the food lacking and recommend that diners offer the simple dishes. The Fish Tacos were drowning in sauce, the crab cake was drowning in grits and the ice cream was definitely not home made. Burgers and pizza were great.

We go to Chef Geoff’s fairly regularly and I like that they change up the menu occasionally but keep some stand by’s. One thing I do pretty often is order a salad or an appetizer (like the hummus) and get a grilled chicken breast on the side. I don’t know how they cook the chicken but it is so good! Usually ‘sides’ of protein to add into a salad or whatever is pretty boring, but this one is so good!

I am a petite person, seldom can eat my whole dinner and therefore always have leftovers to take home. However! My blackened fish tacos were sooo good, I ate the WHOLE thing and almost had a tummy ache.

I have dined here many times. Tonight was not up to standard, below expectations. The Caesar salad was not crisp romaine lettuce, the dressing was average. The shrimp scampi recipe took shortcuts- tiny chopped onions were a substitute for a mild garlic seasoning. Was there a chef change? Food was average- I know it can be better as in past visits. Hope so! We enjoy the location and ambiance. We a long time diners here.
