Chef & Butcher in Tokyo is a quaint restaurant that serves quality food. The chef started his career working for Iron Chef Morimoto but came back to Japan to start his own business. The specialties at Chef & Butcher include the tender juicy Kobe beef cooked just right and a variety of cocktails. Recommended items include spinach salad, mozzarella and tomato salad, rib steak with ponzu sauce, fried garlic chips and beef consume soup. There are also a number of other sides, salads, tapas, rice and desserts. You can also order wines at Chef & Butcher.

前日に予約したにもかかわらず、コロナ禍に配慮頂いた席を用意くださりありがとうございました。テラス席を希望したのですが、結果としてテラス際のエアカーテン近くの屋内で、結果的に涼しくて快適でした。食事も美味しくて楽しませて頂きました。赤身肉の盛り合わせが特に美味しかったです。後ろに予定がなかったら、もう少しいろいろ食べてみたいと友人と話していました。時間がある時に改めてゆっくりお伺いしたいと思います。

グリル盛り合わせ、煮込み共に満足の行く量と味です。表通りから路地に入ったところに面し、テラス席もあるので「３密」にならずにゆっくり食事が楽しめます。

Fabulous steak experience. Entrance off main road; quiet and unassuming. Warm and welcoming, simple interior. We will be back!

Went for the Wagyu, but the cuts were all of the lower quality, still ok but not the marbling I was looking for and requested. My wife ordered the fillet but they didn't have any. The steak was served rare on a hot plate as we got in most restaurants in Japan but the hot plate didn't stay hot for long.

On a rare visit to Tokyo, I set up a date to meet a friend. Although I was over half an hour late, my friend was waiting for me downstairs with a lemon beer. It looked good, but I went with a Kona beer and it did not disappoint. After choosing a petite spinach salad and an adorable plate of heart-shaped mozzarella with baby tomatoes, we were ushered upstairs where we could enjoy a long conversation over an excellent Pinot Noir and a small plate of delectable grilled meat. The best thing about Chef and Butcher is the food, followed by the service, which was attentive yet unobtrusive. However, it was a bit slow that night, perhaps due to a party downstairs. The atmosphere is country charming with outdoor seating available. Besides the small portions for the prices, the only drawback I can see is the lack of barrier-free access. Go here for a date, a party, to entertain friends or just to taste some really tender, juicy meat! All in all, I can highly recommend Chef and Butcher for a stylish yet casual visit to Nishi-Azabu.

お手軽な値段で、素晴らしい料理、もちろんボリュームもたっぷり。六本木界隈では一押しです。　次はディナーもぜひ行ってみたいです。
