My friend suggested this restaurant and I'm glad he did. I had their Chef 21 Sushi Burger, and I have to say this is the best thing I've eaten in years. Totally shocked at the flavor. I will definitely go back for another! Also, the location is awesome better parking, and the restaurant is nicely appointed.

Our waitress was exceptional, she anticipated all of our needs and made the experience one of the better I’ve had service wise. We had the hot pot with ribeye and it was delicious. The atmosphere is a little quirky and we were unsure if it was worth giving a try, but are very happy we did. Go, enjoy, you’ll be happy you did as well!

Loved not being well versed in all things sushi and learning from our waitress Skylar how to confidently order. Super hot day in Greenville calls for the cold creamy Lobster Roll and cold beer. Highly recommend.

You ever walked into a place and from that first moment you knew that a wonderful adventure was about to begin? That’s the best way I can describe Chef21 - we were greeted immediately upon entering, checked our reservations and then were asked if this was our first visit - the hostess was awesome!! She made us not only feel right at home but also as if we were already VIP’s - our sever (I hate to say that because she was more like the Culinary Grand Marshall) Stacey made recommendations and even explained what we should expect from each sushi roll, complimentary flavors, etc…we inquired about the Wagyu nigiri to which she highly recommended we try…we settled on three rolls (The Three Musketeers, The Hawaiian, and The Sexy Girl) - each roll was stunningly delicious on their own but complimented each other too!! The Black Truffle Salt Wagyu Nigiri is hands down the most amazing flavor & texture that we’ve experienced from coast to coast - and paired with a shot of Dassai 45 Saki is an experience that you must not miss…we are already planning our next date night here (and many more!!!) the owner was sweet & professional, the staff awesome & the sushi chef a true culinary artist!!! Thank you Chef21 for one of the best date nights ever!!!

My daughter ordered the Bulgogi Ribeye Bibimbap with anticipation of a wonderful sauce served over the dish as she has had prepared by her Korean fiends, but there was a no sauce, so it actually was quite dry. The sushi was good.

All of the staff were kind and thoughtful during our experience. The restaurant called ahead to make sure we were all set, and went out of their way to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The chef was knowledgeable, and this was hands down some of the best food I have ever had. The bartender was kind enough to make us a special drink just for fun. We could not recommend this place enough!

Absolutely best restaurant to go to celebrate the birthday. The boa bun was great. Sushi is amazing, server had went above and beyond doing a little celebration with birthday song and sake bomb. We had so much fun. Would recommend 100 out of 10.

Server didn't write our order down and had to come back because she forgot what I asked for. Then brought my husband the wrong dish. We also had to ask for a soy sauce dish twice since she kept going off to do other things. In the end, we got what we ordered and the food was good but not great. Compared to other sushi places, Chef21 is about 25% overpriced for what they are trying to be.

Wowwww this place far surpassed my expectations. We got the crab Rangoons, avocado bomb, and bulgogi bibimbop and split all of it between two people. Everything was insanely good and you could just tell it was all handmade. The rangoons were flaky and delicious. The avocado bomb is probably my favorite app I’ve ever gotten with the perfect amount of spice. My only complaint for the bibimbop is that it needed more kimchi but that’s on me because I didn’t ask for more - and that’s really not a complaint more of a testament to how good the kimchi is because I ate it alllllll and barely left my husband any. The prices are super reasonable and the staff is friendly and want your feedback. We didn’t grab anything from the bar but the drinks looked delicious! Especially the tea! Will absolutely return!

The waitress didn’t write down our orders but then didn’t remember the orders. She had to ask a couple times about our drinks and then completely forgot our food order and had to come back and ask again. Food was ok but have had better versions of the short ribs, the hot pot and the poke bowl.
