Service was wonderful! The food was great! One our favorite places to share a special occasion with family or friends.
Hostess told me my reservation was for 1115 and has been cancelled. After looking again she said they had a cancellation so she would let us in. She just looked at the reso book wrong and tried to tell me I was wrong rather than just admit the mistake. Other than her rudeness, it was great
Cheever's does not disappoint. Food, service, etc. is always outstanding.
Overall good experience. The food was excellent. Service was just a tad slow and the restaurant was just a bit loud. We plan on coming back to eat again.
We love Cheever’s! The food is always outstanding and so Is the service!!
First time to the restaurant. Packed from the time we walked in until we left. Delicious food a great service. No place to stand for a drink if you come early and the bar is full. My only complaint.
Outstanding food and friendly service, salmon advacado toast special creative and luscious.
Best Sunday brunch in OKC! Great food and a "brunch punch" that is different every week. This is one of our favorite places to get together and catch up with friends. The entire brunch menu is great, but my favorites are the Cowgirl Benedict and the chicken fried steak with jalapeno gravy. Be sure to make reservations and plan to arrive a little early, because you may have to search for a parking place.
Loved the flower room! Cute building. Keeps the history in tact.
Our first time having brunch here, we had a great experience and the mimosas are on point 😋
We chose Cheevers for dinner before a Ballet show. The food was amazing, the background music brought back memories of my youth, and really added to the feel of the restaurant. I only had two issues. The first issue is that there was a mix up in my dinner order, but they very quickly corrected the issue. The second issue was that at the time we received our meal, we ordered two cocktails, which we did not receive until we had finished our meal. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable dinning experience.
My wife & I love Cheevers. (6th visit) We definitely will return again to try more dishes. The halibut fish was amazing and the prawns were complete with legs & head attached. (Wife thought they would be on a stick wrapped in bacon, lol) Our table was right outside the restroom. (Never again) We love the Juan queso, was cheesy delish. The Bread is always yummy. Service was well-timed and friendly. Margarita...one more please.
Always excellent!!!
Wonderful brunch at Cheevers. The food was well plated and delicious. I recommend sharing a cinnamon roll as an appetizer!!! All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our waiter Will was perfect, he made great recommendations, was attentive without hovering. Will’s pacing provided a perfect leisurely Saturday Brunch!
We made our reservation 2 weeks out to celebrate Valentine’s Day on a the friday night after actual Valentine’s Day. I noted this on the reservation. So, not only was this a special occasion it was also our first time to visit Cheever’s. I was super excited after reading reviews about how amazing it was. However, leaving after dinner I was pretty disappointed. Our reservation was at 7:15pm so of course it was busy. We were promptly seated. With a reservation for 2 made weeks ago I assumed we would at least get a good table. We were seated at a 4 person table in the corner of the middle room connecting the main dining room to the bathrooms and to the kitchen. I sat right next to a bar that held a stack of cloth napkins. People were constantly walking through back and forth to the restrooms and servers back and forth to the main dining area. It took a little while for our server to get our drink order and he didn’t seem to happy to be working. I asked for a cocktail with champagne and he didn’t seem to be thrilled that I had asked for something off the menu. I only saw our waiter a handful of times. I saw for the other part of the room we were in all the time and he was amazing and cheerful. I ended up having to get another waiter to get something for us at one point. Rolls were great. Drinks were pretty good. Ordered the chicken fried steak and it was a little cold and not very tender. We probably will not be back.
A hidden jem! Amazing food! Amazing staff! Mara is highly recommend! We will be back soon!
Amazing food, wine and service!!
Always delicious.
We had a wonderful evening celebrating Valentine's Day.
Always great. We had pepper jack chicken strudel, molasses chicken with grits, greens and Brussel sprouts. Pecan crust ice cream ball for dessert. All, the best I have ever had. Everything is always good. Wonderful service also.
Our favorite restaurant especially for birthday celebrations!
1st visit for my wife and I. She had soup and salad. I had the shrimp n grits. Everything was good. Service was good.
Loved it!!! As usual an amazing experience.!!
As always, the food was excellent. Steak for her, shrimp and grits for me. This our "go to" place for dinner on special occasions.
Have enjoyed Cheever’s for years. This visit didn’t quite measure up to previous visits. Menu selections didn’t really “wow” us. If you don’t want steak, you don’t have too many other options. I had the ham and pasta dish; my wife had the Halibut. Both okay.
Took friends for a pre valentines dinner. So great!
Met and exceeded expectations - highly recommended
Food is really great! Our service was good. I had advised on the app that it was my wife’s birthday, but there was no recognition. Also, we were a little disappointed that the chicken fried steak that used to cover the entire plate appears to be a much smaller portion that is two pieces, stacked on top of each other. Additionally, the coffee tastes like a gas station...wasn’t impressed. Lastly, this is just being picky, but the 4 top table we had was extremely small. I don’t normally spend $150 for dinner, hence the reason I an nit-picking.
Very nice, good food, nice decor, very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing to complain about.
Excellent birthday dinner
The owners have developed a well balanced menu. My food was incredibly delicious (Chicken Fried Steak and Soup of The Day (Creamy Vegetable)). When people tell you that it's a must, take them at their word. The steak was tender and amazing at the first bite. The only issue I had was that the server could have provided a better service. For example my date and I was not asked if we wanted dessert. The average cost of an entree was a respectable $20-25 price range. Overall it still gets 5 stars from me and I will definitely make another visit.
First, this was the only time I have ever had bad service at Cheever’s. Someone did comp our appetizer because it took twenty minutes. I love the good egg dining group and love Cheever’s, however this night something was off.
Great food
Food and service were excellent. Great atmosphere. Have been coming to Cheevers for years and have never had a bad experience.
Good menu options - some hearty options as well as lighter fare. Nice atmosphere as well.
What a fun evening with the most delicious and consistent food anywhere. Cheevers is my go to favorite place!
Very flavorful food with a good variety of options. Also the chocolate ice cream ball is a must for deserts.
A fan favorite as usual. Awesome food. I always look forward to dining here. Not cheap, but the food is worth it.
Great experience
Delicious meal from drinks, appetizer, to amazing Strawberry biscuit dessert! Nothing beats the Quinoa salad!
