Monday night trivia is so fun!
Unfortunately the food isn't good enough to put up with the inattentive slow service. The first time we came, the server spilled a boiling pot of fondu on my friend's arm which sent her to the ER. The second time we came, the server placed our meal "to go" which explained why our food never arrived after 45 minutes sitting at the table. The server never even came by in that time to check on us & we had to get up & find someone to inquire about the whereabouts of our food. Strike 2. Not worth going here.
Trivia night was loud and we were told they would not turn down the volume
Food was so so
I will not go back there for dinner.
Embarrassing to have taken colleagues from out of town.

Not impressed-went for Mother’s Day brunch, service was extremely slow, table and chairs were dirty when we sat down, waiter didn’t ask us for a drink order-just table water and the food was just okay.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We went for Mother’s Day. We had reservations. We waited about 15minutes to be seated. Once we were seated we waited for 30 min before the server came. We promptly placed our orders as we saw they were understaffed and we had an event after brunch. We waited for over an hour for our meal. Tables around us who were seated and ordered at the same time got their food and checks. We never actually got our meal because all the server could offer was a cheese board and a poor excuse for the delay. The manager was not helpful either. I understand the restaurant was busy-it was Mother’s Day. Make sure you have the staff to support your patrons! This was our first experience at this business and we live in the area.

Too crowded & understaffed. But it was Mother’s Day - so perhaps to be expected?

Even with a reservation, we waited for 20-30 minutes at the host station while the staff scrambled around clearing tables inefficiently. The hostess asked us about our reservation numerous times, forgetting each time. The server took our order and then came back and said he couldn't find the kid's grilled cheese in the menu system. There are only four items on the kids menu and the kids' grilled cheese is the first one! Then we waited for half an hour to get some grilled cheeses, tater tots, and macaroni n' cheese. This was supposed to be a special Mother's Day Brunch, but the service put a damper on the entire experience.

Cheesetique has always been a great place for happy hour or dinner, but they really screwed up on Mother’s Day. I made a 10:30 reservation because I wanted to get my 2yr old home for a nap. We arrived 5 min early and were quickly seated. Our server told us about complimentary mimosas and brought them, but never offered coffee or brought us menus. After 20 min he finally came to take our orders and realized we didn’t have menus and didn’t even apologize. My mom had to go take kids menus and crayons from the hostess stand herself. Our food took over an hour to come. We finally asked for coffee once we saw other people had some and yet our server never offered us refills - despite the fact that they somehow didn’t have normal cups and served coffee in tiny cups a bit bigger than espresso. They did bring us a complimentary small cheese tray during the long wait, but it would have been more thoughtful if they had brought something for my kids who were amazingly patient with the whole ordeal. It wasn’t just us, all around us no one was getting food. Once we finally got our food, it was ok but nothing special. I probably won’t be back even though I work in the same building. At no point did anyone apologize. The manager never came over. No one explained what was going on and no one who worked there seemed to be hustling or making any effort to accommodate inconvenienced guests.

While the food remains delicious and varied, the service was awful. We were there on a Friday night at 7:30 pm, it wasn't at capacity, and there appeared to be just a couple of servers. Ours didn't seem to realize that by the time she brought the extra bread we'd already eaten all of the cheese we'd been waiting to put on the bread. Water glasses went empty, the second round of drinks took forever, and yet everything seemed copacetic. It took about 10 minutes to get our check, after we asked for it (and our plates had already been cleared so it was obvious we were done), and then we had to wait longer to get it processed. No clue what's up, but there are to many other places to get good cheese and charcuterie boards to deal with poor service.

Everything was just ok. Service was pleasant but slow. Food was tasty but not special. Disappointed that kids menu did not include a typical cheddar grilled cheese. Young kids are more used to this taste than other special cheeses. Definitely not a special occasion place.

Easter brunch with 4 adults and 3 boys under 7. Great menu, lots of choices and we all got something different to eat and everyone raved. Mimosa bucket great fun. Bloody Mary’s nice and spicy and the place is crazy kid friendly with special cups, a stockpile of games, crayons and coloring placemats. Service attentive and lovely. Shrimp and grits fabulous! I truly wanted to buy some cheese, but was so completely stuffed that the thought of doing any type of taste was too much! I’ll be back! Thank you!

Initial approach was poor- we had a reservation, were on time...and they weren't ready. Covering by asking if we would sit on the patio would have been okay if it weren't in the 50's out there.
The food itself was very good. Asking for something different (like bacon on a sandwich) never made it to the kitchen. Our server kindly offered to remove the upcharge from the check when asked about the omission...halfway through the meal when she finally checked on us.
All in all, this has all of the bones that could be a good restaurant, but they have a LOT of growth to get through first. I hope they make it.
The gritcakes were dry and tasteless and needed salt and pepper which were not on the table. They also needed cheese - a surprisingly glaring omission at a restaurant focused on cheese.

The lunch special is a great value at $10. Half grilled cheese and cup tomato soup with a few greens. But service was inattentive and they brought the wrong sandwich. My companion finished her lunch before I could get anyone’s attention. And the grilled cheese was cold. The tomato soup was delicious though.

My pals and I eat here roughly once a month and always have a good time. We enjoy the happy hour pricing! The menu is a little stagnant, but we all have our fave entrees so it doesn’t hold us back. Their Mac and cheese is tasty and I love their grilled cheese sandwiches.

I had the grilled cheese and it was horrible. The bread wasn’t even toasted. I feel like it’s very difficult to mess up grilled cheese. Our waitress was very nice though and my friends’ meals looked ok.

The wide variety of cheeses and charcuterie available to inclusion on a cheese board, along with the accoutrements served with the cheese board make this a "must try" at Cheesetique. The Garlicky Shrimp pasta entrée with pieces of cooked Halloumi cheese mixed in was extraordinary, and the wine pairing suggestion worked with the cheese board, entrée and our cheesecake dessert. GREAT MEAL!!
Had the worst service - too few working
The cheese was fabulous, but our service was lacking. I was served my meal as my friends were finishing theirs.

Keep Raclette on the menu
Everything was amazing! The old fashion we got was not great, tasted watered down, but everything else was wonderful. We got the warm burrata - so yummy - as an appetizer, and the lasagna and steak as entrees and they were incredible. The ambience was nice and the wine was good and well priced.
Restaurant needs a better sound absorbing materials. I can barely hear the conversation of my company.
Ordered the cheesesteak sandwich and chicken sandwich and paired both with the wines recommended by the menu. Delicious.
Ordered the Mac n cheese. And it was mmm mmm mmm good!

First time and service was pretty rough to come around and serve our food. We had others that came in after my table of two get food before us. I decided to try something new that I wasn’t too fond of but I’ll definitely return to try this place again.
Our visit to cheesetique was during restaurant week. Although we opted out of the restaurant week deal, it appeared to be a good deal for two people — a charcuterie board, one entree each, and chocolate mousse to share for $35 total. Instead of doing that, I ordered the Mac n cheesetique, which was served hot! It was a tasty dish, but on the smaller side and did not come with any sides. My boyfriend ordered one of the specials originally; however, they ended up being out of that option. He went for the cheesesteak, which he described as underwhelming because there was too much bread. It did come with a side salad. Our server was great! I wish I knew his name. I’m not sure if we would come back, though, since the food wasn’t our favorite.
Three college friends (50 years later) met for lunch and had a very pleasant time with good food, including our complimentary chocolate mousse. There was no rush to get us out which was much appreciated.
My partner and I went to Cheesetique for the restaurant week menu and we were not disappointed! The food was a solid 10/10 (how could it not be if you love cheese, amirite?) but the service was even better. We had Jordan as our server and she was so helpful in guiding us through the cheese and wine menus and it made it such a great experience for us. Thank you Jordan!
Waiter didn't get our mains written down and thus we had to wait for them to be made. Didn't ask if we wanted a second glass of wine. Poured us two more of the same wines instead of bringing us a menu (we contributed this by not being absolutely clear). No salad dressing on what looked like an entire bag of Arugula. Advice: if you are going to eat, stay with the starters and I would suggest having your waiter repeat your order.
Affordable restaurant week menu, good for a small group. Trivia night so VERY noisy, but overall a fun place.
Had lunch with friends
The food and value was very good. The meal started off poorly when my daughter tried to order the wine and cheese flight. The menu clearly indicated that it was a 5 wine tasting paired with 5 cheeses. They insisted that it was 4 wines and a beer not 5 wines and would not honor their menu. This started the meal off with a sour note and the service initially matched this poor beginning. The service eventually improved and the food was very good.
