Afternoon tea is quite simply an unforgettable experience here at Cheal’s. We offer a fabulous 2 course afternoon tea served daily. Each course is lovingly prepared by our in-house pastry team, using traditional ingredients. Choose from ten different teas, cocktails or a glass of Prosecco or Champagne, for a truly memorable occasion. Wednesday - Saturday: 12:30pm – 2:00pm £36.50 per person Please note that we require at least 48 hours' notice for this booking type. Bookings made with under 48 hours' notice may not be honoured.

Hosted by Liberty Wines in our Private Dining Area 'Terrace', this exclusive event offers an exciting opportunity to explore a variety of wines from a selection of renowned wineries, expertly paired with a specially crafted 3-course dinner for £99.50 (price includes dinner and wine pairing). Each course will be accompanied by two glasses of wine, allowing you to compare and contrast different wine styles and flavours. A representative from Liberty Wines will introduce each wine, providing insights into its unique characteristics and the story behind it. Our Michelin-listed kitchen team will present a menu that perfectly complements the wines, creating a truly immersive culinary experience. This is a must-attend event for wine enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Dietary requirements can be accommodated upon advance request. Note: Event begins promptly at 6:00 PM.

Service from start to finish was impeccable. Lovely to see younger employees with great restaurant social skills. High class restaurants can sometimes avoid younger employees, however, great to see they are investing in training. Food was delicious, choosing Cornish Plaice starter and Market Fish of the day for the main. Value for money considering the complimentary interval dishes. First visit and definitely not the last.

We were given a voucher for Christmas to dine at Cheals and what a lovely gift. We dined there today on the set menu and enjoyed every mouthful. The food, service and ambiance was perfect and will be going again. Do not expect large portions but the flavours make the experience rewarding . Lovely - thanks to all the staff xx Mr & Mrs Fullard
